My family and I arrived at the hotel and had booked 4 rooms. They assigned us to 2 of rooms that had very strong odor of paint. The rooms that we had assigned were next to each other because we were travelling with several children in our group and therefore needed to be close by. When this issue was brought up to the manager on duty, he was unwilling to switch us to rooms that were next to each other. He said that if we wanted to be in rooms next to each other, the only ones available were in a different building and we would need to pay an upgrade fee or his other suggestion was for us to call our travel agent and have them pay for the upgrade!!! To me this was quite an unbelievable way of resolving a problem which was clearly the responsibility of the hotel. The next morning I spoke to the Operations Manager Sammy and explained to him how unpleasant our check in experience was. He was very apologetic and assured us that he would do what it took to make things right. Within 20 minutes, Sammy had got rooms ready for us to move to and they were all in a newer building from the one we had spent the first night in. Throughout our stay, Sammy would come and check on us in the restaurant as we were dining to make sure that we were having a pleasant stay. I must say that Sammy knows how to resolve and follow up with his guests. Voyager is very lucky to have such an asset leading that team. I look forward to going back to the Voyager, thanks to Sammy's outstanding service recovery.

The all-inclusive experience at this hotel was worth every penny of it. The grounds were extremely spacious with multiple swimming pools with different bars and relaxation areas. There were food options in various locations including an Italian restaurant experience poolside. The all-inclusive meal service was truly fantastic with multiple food stations some with local ethnic foods and themes from all over Africa and even the world. They had excellent fresh juices and fresh fruit in the morning for breakfast as well as an egg station and waffles and crepes every morning. I enjoyed having my poached eggs. The room we stayed in was perfect, with a porch just outside and right next to the cliffs above the crashing waves below which lulled us to sleep every night. There was a beach down below which was very picturesque and great for photo opportunities, plus there were a variety of little vendors set up selling many African memorabilia. I loved the little bar that was perched just above the ocean, very relaxing with comfortable seating and very friendly bartenders. We went there almost every night to relax and talk and enjoy a drink. It was fun watching the monkeys play on the grounds next door to this place as well. This spot is also perfect to propose to your future wife... The service was exceptional, Peter from the front desk was always super friendly and helpful. The waitress Shilla charmed me with her Shilla Special drink which she custom made for me. All of the staff were super friendly and I got to know them during our stay and they almost felt like friends. I think this will be my go-to place on future visits to Mombasa, it is really a beautiful little enclosed paradise.

The kid fun club was amazing, the teacher s were very friendly and my children made alot of friends. The night activities were fun and entertainment was great. The food was nice and yummy with alot to choose from. Our room was spacious, neat and clean and seaside view made my mornings. My whole family enjoyed and said this should be our destination every time we are in Mombasa.

We had time to visit Wildwaters and the kids enjoyed the slides. I was also able to go shop at Nyali mall and tapus with my small brother which was fun too. Averall my children preferred to play at the kids fun club more, swim, and play within voyager than go outside.

I loved how the guards are stationed everywhere even near the beach and were watching us as we were at the beach which I appreciate alot, having had many negative stories of beaches that's a plus for the hotel. The teachers also at the kids club are on top notch on the children safety which I also loved.

We loved everybit of it. My children enjoyed the burgers, ice-cream and the variety on the buffet. It was so nice seeing them eat when they needed to even without me around.

Voyager is certainly a very beautiful place. Three pools, 5 blocks of rooms and lots of garden area for just relaxing with a good book. The food is superb with lots of choice on offer. But the jewels in the crown are the staff. Nothing too much trouble, friendly, happy and knowledgeable. I have to specifically mention Samuel the pool attendant at the sports pool who is fabulous with the kids, gracious and thoughtful, hard working and a nice chap. Why he doesn't have a contract is beyond me! Also, we met a lovely young trainee called Ibrahim. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we wanted. Checking back with us that we were happy. A polite, hard working and pleasant young man who has clearly listened to his mentor. You will not regret visiting Voyager, there is a reason its so popular! The hotel was not far from the airport and it took less than ten minutes to be checked-in in my room, Mark you , we had arrived like 20 guests at the same time! My room was by the adult pool and the ocean. It was super quiet, and I had the best views throughout the day. Their room service was swift, and I did not need to go to the restaurant for all meals. They had staff everywhere ready to serve you, I do not remember walking for 10 metres without running into a staff in the resort. Dominic was very friendly by the pool and attentive to me and other guests. Mr 'dimples', Edgar and 'Mama Africa' made our evenings and I was always looking forward to the after dinner entertainment. The fun pool had amazing team building games, and it was fun playing competitive games with guests . They had many kid-friendly games and activities as well as meals, that's a big plus for me. The place was so beautiful and lovely ,with beach views and lounge areas to chill and relax, I was lost of choices on where to relax since I had so many beautiful options . Overall, i had an amazing time !

Security is important to me ,and invasion of privacy. while you check in, Bags scaned .All security know what you have in bags ,as we check in Rooms werealocated.Immediately it was tea time and supper.They invaded my privacy while I was gone. They also know your where about while you are out for lunch teatime,and supper.Our items were stolen from luggage the moment we checked in..items including items I locked safe box..(the manger has a by pass key)Run from this Resort if you value you privacy.They are still using keys to open rooms.so you have no idea who will invade your privacy while you are out in the beach ..The security is a joke including the security manger all need to be switch, they work together. RUN,RUN,RUN from this resort.I Will not stop telling more people about this resort.Wifi not all rooms and bathrooms are old.Whoever owns this resort..your security SUCKS..call me if you need more information about resort. Especially about about safe box.it a joke..

This is definitely paradise, and I mean it from the moment you get to the gate that the embarkation begins. This is a ship, and so does everything inside it resemble it. The staff are super nice,welcoming, and friendly. we had a very good time here. The food is amazing and surprisingly affordable. Their services are topnotch and out of this world. I got to enjoy the view of the ocean. It's scenic and beautiful. The reef, the far away ferries and boats, the breeze and white sandy beaches, and more... Voyager is definitely a go-to place. It has several amenities, a clinic, a salon, and a gift shop, among others. It is family-friendly, good for events, and work/team building. It's easily accessible and open to the public, too. I'd definitely recommend and visit again.

Ninaipa hoteli hii nyota 1 kwa sababu sifuri sio chaguo. Tangu tulipoingia mapokezi tulikuwa na hisia mbaya kuhusu hoteli hiyo. Shughuli na kubwa. Vyumba kwa upande mwingine vilikuwa giza na vidogo! Bafuni ya zamani na ya kukwepa na katika chumba cha watoto kikoni cha hewa ambacho kilitoa kelele za kutisha. Kukatishwa tamaa huku kuliendelea na chakula wakati wa chakula cha mchana na chakula cha jioni. Wafanyikazi wa kulia chakula wasio na urafiki, viti vya meza vimejaa. Inakuwa bora... Baada ya chakula cha jioni kulikuwa na burudani ya kupendeza ya kutosha hata hivyo hii iligeuka kuwa karamu ambayo iliisha saa 2300 tu nilipoenda kwa meneja kulalamika. Takriban watu 20 wakicheza muziki wa sauti ya juu sana huku hoteli nzima ikiwa macho... Angalia mapema na hatarudi tena. Tulirudi kwenye ufuo wa Leopard ambapo tulihisi kama tuko nyumbani. Janga!

The place is a serene place with beautiful views and people. By far the Swahili resort was my favorite. The also have beautiful swimming pool which I spent most of my time on and my favorite was the fun swimming pool because it creates atmosphere for socializing and getting to know your neighbors. My second best was the relaxing pool. Great view then followed by the sports Pool great for swim work outs and laps. The evening shows were nice. The hospitality was top notch. What an amazing place. Good for families...

Well kept rooms nicknamed "cabins" since they symbolically refer to the facility as a ship. In fact, once you are at the gate they must welcome you by tooting a horn. Meals are well prepared and they offer variety. Workers are very courteous, helpful and professional. Everything is luxurious except the buildings which have an old feel to them but it's not outright visible. The hotel has access to the ocean but no white sandy beaches so you can't swim in the ocean. Several swimming are present and they have a lounge and play area for kids. You are in for a treat and I highly recommend it.

On rooms, I think there's need for modernization although they are very good, most of them Sea-facing. Executive conference halls and refreshing ambience. The service is lively, you'll meet happy people, you'll feel at home. The daily entertainment after dinner hard my whole energy rejuvenated after a busy day.

We have just returned after a 8 day stay. All I can say was the experience was truly amazing, the staff too many to mention by name( Valerie, Mildred, Richard, Katane a few to mention) throughout the resort were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The choice and variety of food was great everyday and to have fresh coconuts water everyday ,plucked at your request. The beach walk was very peaceful and free of the worldly problems. Highly recommend this hotel.

Seit einer Woche machen wir hier Urlaub, alle geben sich Mühe und sind sehr höflich trotzdem muss man manchmal etwas warten, Getränke. Mal sehen wie es die nächsten 2 Woche werden. Auch nach 2 Wochen muss man die Mitarbeiter loben. Ich kann das Hotel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
