More than anything this is a formal complaint about Tracy the line manager of this place , this person is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. This woman is very racist and feels like she never have some kind of education in how to treat customers or people in general. I have had the worse experience with this person over the phone. If you willing to pay money to these people to rent a place and if by misfortune that place has thousands of issues like my flat and you have to call them for help I pray to God you never have to be on the phone with this woman. She is patronising, rude , and the worse part she is RACIST. I can’t believe they have people like this that have 0 knowledge of customers services working with clients specially her lack of sympathy and politeness shown through the phone shows a lot... Everytime I call I have an ever worse experience to the previous one. If I could speak to the head office of this place I would happily show them the recording of her being rude and violent over the phone towards me. I have proof of her being disgusting with me. The first time and the second time she was this rude and disrespectful towards me I was not sure of why. Then I spoke to my my partner who is British/English which has also spoken to her and she has not been this rude. The only difference between him and is as that With me she is ALWAYS violent , rude , hostile, disrespectful and violent everytime I call to ask for help regarding a problem in the flag. The only difference is that am not British and English is not my first or second language so I know the reason why she is this rude and it is because she is a RACIST. I have her on record being rude and passive aggressive is extremely disrespectful. Specially when our flat is full of issues and it is not our fault. I would give 0 stars to this place if I could honestly.

From initial agent contact to ongoing liaison throughout the entire letting process Gemma has gone above and beyond what is expected and takes customer service to a level I have never received before. Gemma’s communications are above exceptional, as is an understanding and proactive approach to servicing her client’s needs. I cannot overemphasise the extremely high level of customer service, empathy and involvement Gemma gives to ensure her client’s needs/requirements are satisfied. Patience, the ability to listen and care about a client’s needs are cornerstones in exceptional service and Gemma possess those attributes in abundance. Well done and thank you Gemma, I generally don’t take the time to give feedback and thanks where it is due, but had to in this instance. With the aforementioned in mind I can thoroughly and honestly recommend Hunters for all of your property letting, buying or sales needs. I contacted hunters around a month ago for a flat that I wanted to let in Liverpool. Tracey Swift was my first point of contact. She was very responsive on the phone, along with providing me details of documentation that would be required, and running me through the process. Tracey collected the keys for the flat, and issued marketing material for it. She was very professional in the way she dealt with me. Once the flat was advertised, Holly became my point of contact. She frequently updated me regarding viewings and feedback from prospective tenants. Hunters were very fast in finding me a good tenant. Holly made sure everything was in place for the move in. Finally, for the past week, I have dealt with Chloe. She assisted me in finalising the transaction. Both Holly and Chloe have been extremely professional and helpful, answering all my queries, and providing me with peace of mind regarding my investment and income stream. I would highly recommend Hunters to everyone.
In middle of this Covid pandemic, I had to shift to Liverpool from India. I was extremely apprehensive about the prospect of renting out a place where entire process was online. I had lots of doubts and insignificant queries, all of which were answered patiently and clearly by Holly. An online viewing was arranged, and once I agreed, they held the property till one of my friends could do the viewing as well. Once the process started Chloe was a lifesaver, every email and call were rapidly and clearly answered, my requests were considered and acted upon swiftly. They had to make extra arrangements and adjustments to fit my time line of travel. Everything was done smoothly and I could come to the apartment directly from the airport. This was an amazing experience for me and I will forever be grateful for Hunters and especially Chloe for going out of their way to help me. Thank you.
Very disappointed with this company, will never use again their services. As a result of their work, we received a claim of over £500 after 1 year living at the property, which is currently in dispute with DPS. Make lots of pictures and videos of the smallest detail in the house (including every screw in the bed frame) and be sure to do the same when you leave. We recommend future tenants to carefully check the electricity costs associated with their properties. Documents were provided by Hunters (nothing illegal done), but it would have been a kind touch to mention that detail, as it has the lowest possible category, costing a fortune to keep warm. If you need to pass any message, I also recommend you mail the full staff members' list to be sure the issues are recorded. Thanks for such a "pleasant lesson", we won't be fooled twice.
The staff were kind and dealing professionally initially , however what was not professional and rather irresponsible about them is sending requests to me and another applicant to pay holding fees for the same property at the same time !! I didn’t know this until I called them to proceed with my application .I received apologies and was surprised to be informed about this and that the landlord has decided to go with another applicant who was also asked to pay holding fees at the same time !! Now , I am waiting to be refunded. Common ...it is called holding fees , payed by one person and for reserving the property in single name ... not for many!!! Hope next time you value your customers and treat them in a respective , ethical and responsible manner not as commodities in the hands of landlords .
I have recently moved into a property rented from Hunters and, so far the service they have offered us has been great. Through no fault of Hunters, unfortunately, there have been multiple issues with the property since the move in day, however, everything is gradually getting sorted thanks to Chloe. Chloe has been lovely throughout the whole process and helped us get everything fixed as quickly as possible and has been on hand and responsive when we've needed assistance. She has always been there to answer calls and responds quickly to emails which has been very helpful as we've needed to get in contact regularly. It was a stressful couple of weeks at the start of the tenancy but Chloe and Hunters have reassured us the whole time and been very attentive with the issues we have had.
I called the office to let them know I struggled for a whole HOUR to get my 2 year old out of his room due to the door handle breaking (this issue was previously reported and awaiting response from landlord). Chloe was extremely RUDE to me on the phone and said she’d call my landlord but doesn’t know how long it’d take for this issue to be resolved , when I asked her to confirm that they’d try and do something on the same day, she told me twice to “ tell your 2 year old not to close the door again!” I couldn’t believe the level of immaturity and insensitivity she displayed and let her know that, she then said “I’m not talking to you” and HANGED UP on me. I’ve never been so disrespected in my life for looking out for my son’s safety and hope to never be in contact with her again.
After listing 5 properties through hunters from the start I could not fault them. From valuations to marketing each property to closing the sales I could not fault this agency I dealt with leah first who was fantastic kept me up to date every step of the way. After she left was passed to Joshua who kept up the good work and good name of hunters by closing a further 2 properties for me and Iv decided to list a further property with this agency. In the past I’ve dealt with plenty of other agencies and not always had the best experience. Joshua is very professional and was working hard to get me the best deal possible every step of the way from finding the perfect purchaser to getting me the very best price for my property. 5 stars to Joshua and the team at hunters Liverpool. :)
I went to collect my keys from Kiki - what a pleasure to deal with someone so personable and friendly! However, I got the keys and flats all mixed up and Kiki then turned up at the premises to sort me out - her smile never wavered nor did her patience. Even though it was all totally my fault, Kiki never made me feel that it was and she continued to be polite, friendly and helpful, going out of her way to ensure that I had everything sorted with the vast number of keys before she left. Hunter's has a gem of an employee here...even the bit of marketing she did on Hunter's behalf was so non-pushy. Honestly, so delighted with Kiki...brings a smile to my face even now. And, not forgetting that I would have never been able to finalize my deal without the help of Josh!
Over the years that Hunters have managed my properties I’ve been nothing but pleased with the high level of service. But there have been more challenges than ever over the past Covid year and Chloe has been a godsend. Together with Abby, Chloe has provided efficient, effective and timely support always with clear communication and a pleasant manner. My daughter and her friends started securing a property with another agency in Liverpool. The lack of communication, professionalism was apparent and the girls walked away after paying money which they were told was non refundable . It is always hard and stressfull to find a new place that you know will be your next home for a long period. You lack information and making any single decision regarding your accomodation is always crucial. Having met Hunters was completely helpful; they are not only an intermediary between the landlord and the tenant, but also support you and guide you throughout the whole process. I had the opportunity to be first in contact with Abi, who was in charge of the viewings, and lately Shelley, who was always guiding me and available at any moment I needed. Josh at Hunter's has been invaluable, arranging the viewings and guiding round, letting everyone take due time to really get a feel of the property, and without any of the the usual estate agent sales talk to potential buyers - which is far more effective than the usual superficial promotion and patter. Straight forward and personable, Josh was really helpful - neither pushy nor falsely persuasive - letting the process take its course without constant pressure, engaging and personable from start to completion. Great service online, on the phone and in person. Everything worked out smooth and I was able to move into my new flat in under one week. Melissa was very helpful. Edit: After moving in, nothing was happening I asked for. After living in the flat I rented for half a year, I realised they have no interest in making people's life any easier. I asked some things to be changed before I moved in, and still did not happen after almost half a year. Also people just come into the flat without letting me know as they have the keys too. Not even knocking! Paying so much fee for this agency and getting literally nothing back! Never agan Hunters!
Hunter's have an excellent team in Liverpool which in our case was led by Carol Corran who was always a pleasure to deal with. She was prompt with responses, kept us up to date with the interest in our property, and carried out all her tasks with great care and professionalism. The first prospective buyer who came along ended up buying our property and beating the stamp duty deadline! I have no doubt the buyer in question drew confidence from carol's knowledge and enthusiasm. She also recommended the solicitors we should use who were extremely able in all respects. Hats off to Carol and her Hunter colleagues!
We approached Hunters to help us with our property in 2019. Previously we had a private rental and the tenant was a major problem with a number of months rental arrears. Tracey Swift the letting manager, helped us evict the tenant. She ensured that our property passed all the legalities. She also helped us clean and furnish the property as well as finding us a good tenant. This was a real help as we were residing abroad at the time. Our new tenants have recently signed a long term rental and rent has always been paid on time. Throughout the whole process Tracey has been highly professional and very helpful.
Hunters offered a great service from when I started the process recently to rent out a flat to the tenants’ moving in date and beyond. Things have changed since I last rented out and there’s a lot to navigate from numerous certificates to inventory and tenancy agreement. Holly guided me smoothly and effectively through that set-up. Holly made it easy by emailing me the necessary information in easy-to-access format, and was on the other end of the phone whenever necessary. I’ve been dealing with Hunters for many years, and I’ve yet to find any reason to give them anything but a 5***** review.
I have been using Hunters to let out my property. So far I am very satisfied with the level of service and their professionalism. They do a regular property inspection and all required administration. Their team has a number of friendly staff. Emma and Shelley were very helpful with introducing their service and finding tenants. Tracey was efficient with sorting out administration work. Michael deals effectively with financial queries. From our initial valuation meeting with Leah she has been professional, friendly and shown an extremely high knowledge of the property market. Communication has truly been second to none. Leah and her colleagues have left no stone unturned in ensuring our property was on the market and within four weeks it is in the position of sold STC. Hunters provided us with a flat in Liverpool 3 years ago. During those 3 years there have been some ups and downs of the tenancy, sometimes communication between the Hunters team/Landlord/Tenant hasn’t been great which meant things weren’t as smooth as they could have been. I spoke with a lovely lass named Kiki who helped me with my inquiries in a timely and happy manner. After dealing with a different estate agent all week that has caused nothing but aggro, it was refreshing to speak to someone who understands what they are talking about and actions on the words they give. They have a team of experienced and professional staff, such as Holly Lloyd (who I personally dealt with), is always available to assist you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I recently rented a house from Hunter at Liverpool. They were very professional and processing the application was easy and within 2days I got approval. Chloe handled my application and she provided all helps. I told her about the moving date and then I changed it and she sort all work out. The inventory list covered all items in details. The pack I got include all information I needed. The online maintenance system they have makes repair request very easy. Highly recommended to rent from them.

Just sold my rental property via Josh. Hunters have an office near the student rental area, so they know the local market well. Due to Covid-19 the sale took longer than expected, but Josh worked from home during the lockdown and eventually found the right buyer. As I don't live in the area he took care of all the viewings and was very friendly, efficient and responsive. I would highly recommend Josh and Hunters if you are looking for an agency that will work hard to get your sale.

Whenever I contacted Leah, she was up to speed with the details of the sale, responded rapidly, came up with good suggestions for overcoming problems, and generally helped to make things happen. The a small agency on Mount Pleasant is just as great and the application process is simple and efficient, much better than the other larger agencies in Liverpool who make you feel like an inconvenience.

Navigating a property sale is pretty fraught at the best of times, so you want someone structured, level-headed and communicative. All of that for a competitive fee. I can’t speak more highly of them. The Liverpool office is top-notch, and Leah leads it brilliantly. Use them.

Sometimes I feel a little anxious about letting people I don’t know into my flat but he’s always a pleasure to be around and makes me feel at ease.
