We are currently in the process of purchasing our property with Whitegates and couldnt be happier with the service we've received. Our broker is Megan Davies and she's been helpful, informative and professional from the start. We were a bit dubious about using a broker as opposed to our bank, as we didnt know what sort of fees to expect but we met with Megan anyway to find out. The service she provides is well worth the fees she charges (out of respect for her privacy I wont be specific but I will say that they are reasonable and not as pricey as you might expect). She explained the entire process to us from start to finish, she explained not only the conveyancy process but the mortgage application and re-mortgage process, and gave us a realistic timeline for completion. We were shown a comparison of rates from different lenders and weve actually ended up with a better rate than if we had just gone to our bank like we were originally going to. No query that weve had has been too much trouble for her to answer and shes just generally a lovely person to deal with. We have also dealt with Amanda who has been liasing with the seller/sellers solicitor and dealing with chasing up documents and again we couldnt be happier. Weve been kept fully informed of developments on a regular basis. Definitely recommend Megan as a broker, it was absolutely the right decision for us and her services are spot on !

Nothing prepared us for the stress, shock and horror we faced with our previous agent (Cheapmoov) who left our property in disrepair and utterly mis-managed our property. We got to a point where we just wanted to get rid of the property because of the whole situation. We had sleepless nights. I contacted a few agents who weren't exactly helpful but when I contacted Whitegates I wasn't expecting the exceptional level professionalism, support and genuine kindness we received from the whole team. In complete contrast to the managing agent we had been using (Entwistle Green in Maghull, part of the Countrywide group), Gail was genuine, straightforward and very helpful. It was a pleasure (and a change) to deal with a highly competent and professional business. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, communication was maintained on a regular basis and the sale of the house was completed efficiently, without any fuss or stress. Having bought and sold through Whitegates West Derby over the last 8 years I have always found the service courteous and professional and the fees are very competitive whilst not compromising on the service. As a landlord I continue to have more than one property managed through the branch and again I have no complaints. The rare issue with tenant payments are quickly followed up and and repairs are brought to my attention quickly and they are able to draw on a wide and reputable group of contractors to fix issues. New annual property reports with description of property state and pictures are are useful addition to the service. An efficient and established agent in the area. Recommended.

Selling a House is recognised as being stressful, however, my very recent experience with Whitegates Estate Agents, West Derby, certainly helped to destress this operation. Caitlin Suleyman was my main contact and kept us informed of all activities on a day to day basis, which resulted in a smooth and successful Sale.
