Terrible!! My brother was supposed to have a witnessed cremation, Melisa filled out all of the paperwork necessary for his cremation, we told her, that we wanted his cremation witnessed, she wasn't sure of the date of which his cremation would take place, so we said any day except for that following Tuesday! February 7th, What happened? He was cremated on that Tuesday and no one contacted us to witness it! Instead my other brother got a call from Melisa apologizing for them doing it without calling anyone to witness his cremation. This was not an "I'm sorry, My bad moment." It gets worse! I requested his finger prints on that Tuesday, February 7th, the day the day of the cremation, Melisa said that she'd scan them and send them to my email address, I guess she finally got around to it on the 14th because that's when I received them. (If they're even his.) We can't be sure because he was cremated without being witnessed as requested!!!! She also said that his ashes would be ready to pick up on that Wednesday afternoon, or That Thursday morning, but no one called to let us know for sure when to pick them up!! My brother picked them up today the 15th of February, and on the box it has his name, and birthdate listed 07/16/1957..... That's not even his birth year he was born in 1967, Mistake?? maybe, but how many mistakes can be made with one persons cremation??!! WE WILL NEVER USE THIS FACILITY AGAIN! All we got was an I'm sorry, and more questions in the back of our minds not being 100% sure if these cremains are even our brothers!!!

This place was horrible. My mother's service was interrupted by workers wearing t-shirts and cutoff jeans walking to the back working. Not only that but their microphones stopped working. The director was no where to e found and there was no urgency to fix the issue. (The director was missing 2/3'2 of the time.) After all was said and done my director stated I would receive a death certificate the day of her service. I did not receive one. I called and left messages over 7 times to my assigned director over the past 2 weeks and have not been contacted back.. I finally called again today and asked her where the death certificate was and she stated it was missing. This is completely unacceptable. She offered to order a second one however that does not solve my problem of an original missing death certificate. How the heck does a funeral home lose a death certificate? This place is completely unprofessional and I am highly dissatisfied. I wouldn't wish this place in anyone... Living OR dead. working with no urgency to fix them

I used Indiana Memorial back in 2012 for my mother’s services on the recommendation of a close family friend and I was very satisfied with everything. I most recently used them again in January of this year for my dads services and cremation. I was beyond happy with how well Travis handled everything. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He took his time with us and made sure we had everything we needed before, during and after the services. He also made sure I had a few keepsake items to remember my dad with. I can’t say thank you enough to Travis and Elizabeth for continuing to check in on us and for making our experience exceptional. I was also very pleased with Travis for allowing us to have a non traditional type of service and for giving us the opportunity to view the beginning of the cremation process to ease my mind that it really was my dad.

Travis Surber did an excellent job directing my father’s funeral last month. I’ve never dealt with having to arrange a funeral and Travis made it an easy and smooth process. I had to get help from the Trustee and I was so upset when I learned I couldn’t add anything extra because when you receive help, the funeral home cannot take any money from you and I really wanted the register book and memorial folders. Travis added these on at no additional cost. He took very good care of my dad before, during and after the funeral. I witnessed the cremation and Travis is so patient and allowed me all the time I needed and wanted to spend with my dad before he was cremated. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring director and my dad would be proud! Thank you so much, Travis. My family and I will forever be grateful.

My brother was to be cremated, My sister wanted to be witness to this, to make sure it was his body and her comfort. After almost a week I emailed to see what was going on and later that day Travis called my mother to say my brothers body was ready to go home. He did NOT call my sister! Then LIED to me and said he did, but couldnt contact her. He had multiple numbers for my family. Your job as a funeral home is to ensure the comfort of the family members! You have left our hearts even more broken. We are just to take your word that my brothers body was taken care of properly. After you've lied to me. Then you try to cover it with an urn, or a cheap candle! Full funeral home expenses should be returned. You did not do your job, and lied about it! Go elsewhere!!

Dan Forbes is an amazing, genuine, beautiful person. He is so professional, caring, and authentic. He made everything so easy, which is needed during times of grief. He didn’t try to push any extra things or try to push his own agenda to make extra money—none of that. He understands the situation completely. He is very kind, comforting, and attentive. I have never had to do any of this before and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else but Dan to guide my family and me through the process. He and Elizabeth even reached out the day after to follow up and see how we were doing. Truly exceptional service. Thank you and God bless you, Dan.

I have worked at a funeral home before and Im a little seasoned on how things work. I need to say that I was surprised at the service my family got. I had the best experience with the Funeral Director Dan Forbes. He made my family feel that he truly cared about what he does. I wont go into details but I want to let you know that he is good people and he does a good job at serving the family in immediate need of a funeral. The location I went too was set up real pretty too. I highly recommend Indiana Memorial and Dan Forbes.

Indiana Memorial Funeral Home is such a blessing!! We had a very difficult situation to deal with because we were from out of state and could not have gotten through the process without thier help. They went above and beyond what they had to do to help us, and treated us like a family member and not just a customer. You could not use a better place for such a hard situation. When my daughter passed away, Travis was very thoughtful and caring. I had no idea what all was involved, and he talked me though it and did not pressure me to do things. My husband did not want a funeral service so we only used Indiana Memorial Cremation for his cremation. But that seemed to go as planned. In comparison to the big named funeral homes Indiana Memorial Cremation was the most affordable. Included in the price was everything we would have gotten at the big name places. We were very satisfied with Travis and his staff.

Dan Forbes did a great job helping our family plan moms ceremony. They did an excelent job getting mom ready for her viewing. I would recommend their services to anyone. My experience in my time of need with indiana memorial cremation was excellent. I was low on funds but you would never have known that with the service I received from the funeral home & all of the staff I dealt with. Staff were kind & courteous & helpful in my time of need. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at my grandpas service. Not only did the staff go out of their way to help me, they helped all of us in one way or another. They even let us use their intercom system to play my grandpas favorite songs. Incredible building with the right amenities.
