"The manager there is horrible and so rude"
"Generally a nice store but having the "under construction" look for so long after the Starbucks pulled out is getting a bit old"
"It was ok"
"Love this store!! It has big spacious hallways"
"Jesse, manager if you can call yourself that! Accused my daughter and I of trying to steel because we move the huge with sticker covering the back of the book"
The manager there is horrible and so rude. I got a pacifier for my daughter, regular price $21, sale $15. When I took it out at home, the pacifier looked so weird and I don’t believe it’s brand new, it got dust on it. The next day, I went back and wanted to return it. The manager squeezed the nipple on the pacifier and said I would just wash it, it’s brand new. It’s final sale I can’t do anything. What kind of person would squeeze the nipple on a pacifier??? Is that appropriate? That’s so gross. And her tone was so rude and made my 9 month daughter cry. And also, they didn’t even give me the plum plus discount.
Generally a nice store but having the "under construction" look for so long after the Starbucks pulled out is getting a bit old. It's time to reuse the space or let someone else use that spot! It's a great place to go when you're biding your time before a movie starts. The last time we went we were able to buy a book there and get the author to sign it for us. I'm also not sure why the Indigo/Chapters stores are no longer displaying ebook readers - they might have one beat up model on display but there isn't much to look at.
It was ok. I like looking at the gadgets but they are so overly priced it's incredible (even with sales). The Starbucks in there is gone now, not sure what they are going to do with the space, and there was a section with a curtain over it while walking the aisle which didn't look very attractive. Hopefully the store will be fixed up soon. I can't say I was pleased with a book being highlighted with a picture of the middle finger up as I walked by (mostly cause it's not kid friendly), but I love looking through books.
Love this store!! It has big spacious hallways. Lots of books to choose from and super well organized Staff is pretty knowledgeable and very helpful. Lots of stuff to choose from for the home and decor. Also big on kids, clothes, toys, books and more! Parking lot is huge, right across the rec room. Store is also super clean and has amazing discount sections around the store.
Jesse, manager if you can call yourself that! Accused my daughter and I of trying to steel because we move the huge with sticker covering the back of the book. Then said we should leave if I didn't like it.. lol Then refused to tell me his name. Well I guess I'll continue buying my books online. Also thank you for making a huge scene at the door when we left super greatful.
One of my favourite bookstores to go to. It's not so big that it's hard to find the section you're looking for, and not too small that it won't have what you're trying to find either. The facilities are kept very clean and I'll come here often to check out new books if I have the chance. Staff are all very kind and helpful and make great recommendations.
They didn't have everything I was looking for, but that's fine! I discovered I can order it online and have it shipped to the store EZ PZ! Thanks to everyone who helped us out when we went! Only knocked off a star cuz when we went to check out, one of the cashiers tried to push the plum + pay card thing on us, and I certainly was not having it.
A nice bookstore plus related toys and gifts. Good selection and features, I appreciate their bargain section. Somewhat disappointed that they've removed the self-service kiosks to look for particular books; in theory it's a nice touch to have an employee help but they appear to be short-staffed so it takes a while.
This store is great. Been going here my whole life and it’s just super big with lots of books and selection. Only reason I’m giving it 3 starts instead of 5 is that they no longer have a coffee shop. Sitting down with a hot coffee and reading a book used to be just lovely! Hopefully they get one in soon.
This location is pretty nice. the layout is good. I didn't feel too closed in, and walking flow was good. At the time of writing this, the Christmas sales are alright, but I do wish there were sales for childrens activity book. Overall, if I am in the area, I would shop here again.
I love Jenny's picks. I bought three books my last visit that were her picks. Please let her continue to recommend! This book store is really cozy and wonderful to visit with a lot of places to sit. I really wish they'd put another cafe in there though.
Fabulous store it's my second favorite location after the one located on Calgary trail. The reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is because they close at a very early 7pm, which is not convienent nor accessible to people who work during the day.
I usually visit twice per month and drop about 30$ per visit, books are my vice. I also love to discover new books to add to my collection. I don't understand what's happened but they've traded a Starbucks for pets.
The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. My kids always feel comfortable asking for help finding what they are looking for. Reading for joy or education should not become a lost art.
I’m not sure who Jenny at this location is but she & I are one and the same. Every book I love is her staff pick, so I will now be buying everything with her sticker on it!
Nowadays it's a bit run down.Last leg. Couldn't find those big books of history any more. Just visited Europe and was looking for some big books for Greece.
I love bookstores so much, and this bookstore has a wide range of Book genres. They also have other stuff that can make your day so good. Thank you Indigo!
My son’s favourite bookstore in town! Here we get his collection of series books and even crafts and toys. It’s a great place for kids and kids at hearts.
It was the first time I've been in this shop, and I just loved it because there are lots of varieties of books. Love this place …
There's a lot of variety in here. Good manga selection. Kind of odd the seperation of them between the teen and manga section.
Great place. I love their discount section. And their note books. I always find something. The staff is so friendly.
Nicely laid out store, always an inviting place to be. Dakota was a big help finding the books I was looking for.
Tons of books to choose from, knowledgeable staff. Calm quiet atmosphere perfect for pursuing for your next read.
It was nice to visit a store so far from home and get that same feeling as I do when I visit my Indigo near me.
This is one of the larger stores in Edmonton. I like going in to spend some time and explore the books.
Amazing crafty stuff.. paradise for book lovers and stationery lovers. A bit pricy though
