The customer service and accountability of this company is greatly lacking. The movers did an okay job once they showed up to our house nearly an hour late. They were friendly and courteous and did a relatively nice job with the lack of equipment that they were given. When I booked this move with Indy Movers, LLC, I was very clear regarding my expectations for adequate care of our furniture as well as for our brand-new construction house that we were moving in to. The truck, an old, converted U-haul that leaked oil all over our driveways, had six furniture pads on it! Our furniture was not protected at all. This resulted in a broken sectional couch and a master dresser that was completely scratched all over, especially on one side. Unfortunately, this is when the experience took an even bigger turn for the worse. When I contacted the office regarding the damaged furniture, I was promised a quick response to make things right. After hearing nothing for the next week, I called again and was told that someone would be getting in touch and that they already should have. When I finally threatened legal action a few days later after hearing nothing, I was finally contacted by Don. He told me that he would schedule to have our sofa fixed and would be sending us a furniture pen to “cover” the scratches on the dresser. This resolution, albeit not ideal, seemed at least like a first option at the time. This led to another period with no follow-up to get anything scheduled. I called multiple times and got the run around to which I finally told them that I was contacting an attorney. This again triggered them to contact me and notify me that they were sending us $450 to compensate us for the damaged items. There was zero accountability for their negligence and they have refused to respond to my inquiries since. Nothing more in regards to actually fixing our furniture. Do not make the same mistake that I did! Do not hire this company unless you want your move to become an even bigger headache.

First, I was assured by the owner, Don, that two professional movers would arrive to load our truck correctly and tightly. One of the movers was in training and had to be told what needed to be done every step of the way. This training caused an obvious delay, a problem (for me only) when working by the hour. Second, the other employee was clearly exhausted when he arrived from working before our scheduled appointment, adding even more delay to their total time worked, again costing me more money. Before booking the job, every other mover who quoted the job said the amount of stuff we had would require one hour less than Indy Movers took to load our truck, so my surprise at their speed was warranted. The worst part of the experience was the poor quality of the packing. ALL of our wood furniture came off the truck scratched and chipped, this was after spending additional money on the materials they requested to do the job to their standards. My mattress was folded in half and came out of the truck covered in black dirt. In addition, many of the walls in our house, which we were still in the process of selling, was scratched or scuffed as either the bodies of the movers or my furniture was dragged through my house of bounced on every step on the way down the stairs (not carried down the stair like movers are supposed to do). Because of the slow pace even while being provided with preferred materials coupled with the lack of professionalism and speed and responsiveness from the owner on the clear delay on completing the loading, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS COMPANY.

THEY ARE THIEVES. PLEASE STAY AWAY. WHEN THEY MOVED ME I GAVE THEM SO MUCH STUFF FOR FREE BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT A LOT OF THINGS. I GAVE THEM WINE, HUBCAPS, AND MORE. They stored my items because my house was not move in ready. When my items were finally delivered they hired a different company to bring my stuff. I thought that was weird but once I started unpacking I realized that my stuff had been rummaged through. So many things were missing. A shoe rack from the canister store, Tiffany necklace that belonged to my mother, all white ONE's (SHOES) that I had never worn. pink Apple Watch, ETC ETC ETC. I now know not to pack jewelry but I didn't expect them to be thieves. When I contacted the owner to tell her about my STOLEN items. She asked what was missing. I sent her a text explaining it all to her. My items were never replaced and she began to ignore my calls and text messages. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM INDY MOVERS. PLAN AHEAD, SAVE UP, AND HIRE REAL MOVERS. INDY MOVERS YOU HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST FROM ME!!!!!!!BELIEVE THAT.

We hired them for our move and we’re told that they would be here at a 11. One person showed up on time and an hour and a half Later two more People showed up, one with a small child They proceeded to take a very long time to load up our small house taking long breaks in between. When we got to our house the only experienced person who was working informed us that the two who were late went to go have a lunch break. About 45 minutes later they came back To unpack the truck. This took longer a they took long smoke breaks (15-20) after moving in an item in. I understand they needed breaks as it was a hot day, but they definitely took advantage of this. They chipped our ceiling a few times moving our bed in as one guy was definitely not experienced in moving. The only person working hard (bless his heart) was a 60 year old man who was trying to get things done in a timely fashion. Otherwise everyone just took their time. Overall the move took six hours to move a small amount of things and we were not impressed.

Not really sure what happened but I decided to cancel service after sending the $100.00 deposit and confirmed another move with another company. The guy who visited was real nice, showed up on time, was realistic. But there was nearly a 50% increased difference between what he thought it would cost and the quote they ended up sending over an hour later. Then no one picked up the phone despite calling and leaving messages with a call back number, then their website went, and is, currently down and that didn't inspire confidence either. Found another company that schedule something is 15 minutes and was nearly a $1000 cheaper, so naturally I cancelled. Just not sure if anyone got my cancellation as no one seems to respond to anything...

I recently had an intercity move that was really a last minute need. When I called IndyMovers, they answered promptly (after normal business hours I might add) and scheduled me for the next day without adding any additional charges for the late notice. They arrived on time, were able to keep me within a tight existing budget and even disposed of somethings that I needed to get rid off without questions! I am very pleased with the overall service and would highly recommend this company to anyone in the blink of an eye. Thank you IndyMovers, you really helped me out.

I would recommend Indy Movers to anyone moving! My previous moving company delayed for 2 hours then cancelled. We were able to get the truck loaded but after an injury I couldn’t unload. I called Indy Movers as a Hail Mary and I couldn’t be happier. About 45 minutes after the call Nathan and Codie came over and knocked out the rest ( 99%) of the truck. Nathan and Codie were professional and very polite. They offered to help re assemble the crib and our bed frame. I could not recommend the company more!

I spoke to Tom to initially get a quote to compare with several others I received. When I called back to schedule the move, I asked for him to email me the quote so I had something in writing. It sounded like he could not find the details we originally discussed so I gave him the details again. He never did email me the estimate nor did he return my calls/messages. Needless to say, we went with another company who is more professional and responsive.

Nathan and Cody did a great job for the 6 hours we worked together. They were very careful and went above and beyond my expectations to protect the things we were moving. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that their billing system doesn’t integrate with their scheduling system. Consequently, I was not given credit for the initial deposit that I made when I scheduled. They did correct this as soon as I notified them of this error.

I can’t even begin to say how much I appreciate these men!! I had a piss poor moving company stand me up and I was able to call them the same day and they showed up early the next day to move my furniture! They have been very professional and nice! All the men are hard workers and words can’t explain how they turned a horrible experience into the best experience ever!!! Indy Movers will be my go to from here on out!!! Awesome men!!

They did a good job and were very polite. I was very happy with how they handled my things and even made sure to put the furniture in the rooms they needed to be in as well as boxes. They also took an extra hour while we had to wait for our keys to the apartment. They didn't have to but they waited on us to get in and that was very much appreciated.

I bought a 300lb massage table. The retailer failed with their white glove delivery. I had to locate a mover as the retailer was not able to Google one (aparently). These guys did it. They did it professionally and were so nice and just top notch guys. I really could not be happier with the work they did. I highly suggest them.

Marcy was very friendly in helping me find my way. Spoke with Don and found they have some of the best rates in Indianapolis for storage. The location is convenient. The staff is helpful and I would recommend anyone needing auto, RV, boat storage check them out. They are just a few minutes from Geist.

Hired them to move my mother out..one guy was Cussing in front of my four year old numerous times.. more concerned about chatting with my wife than moving stuff and when the truck was full all three failed to let anyone know just left.. also did not move everything they was asked to
