I am going to him for years he could never find my issue I guess he got irritated because my last appointment he told me he was going to write my stomach condition as colitis when that is not been proven they can’t find my issue and I don’t believe he cared enough to look into it he just guesses. 8-4-2019 this is the reply to what you said I’m being rude because you told me to go try something and I went to the emergency room listening to your advice and I had an allergic reaction to it and when I brought my grandmother in there to confront you about the situation you were acting confused and tell me that I need to find a new doctor as I agreed at the same time to say I’m going to take my money and services elsewhere!! And then you said you’re going to write my condition off as colitis knowing that you don’t even know what’s wrong!! This might work on the older group of people that you work with but not me!! You don’t have to worry because I’ve already contacted my lawyer about the situation and everything that happened from the emergency room all the way to every time that I’ve visited your office!! So be looking for my certified letter!! That makes me wonder if they took your license away from you before because you were not able and then all of a sudden you come back to the same facility

Words cannot describe how awesome this clinic is!! Dr. D and Jay are constantly going above and beyond for patients (current and new)!! We had an issue that we weren’t sure if it warranted an ER visit or not and I called the office and even though Dr. D was booked solid, he told them to put us on the books and he will see us in between patients. We expected to be there for a few hours due to us being worked in, but our total time there was a little under two hours; Dr. D immediately came in to greet us and decided it was a high priority that could be taken care of in the office. During the entire procedure he was so polite, entertaining and professional. You could tell he takes pride in his work as a Doctor and loves to teach others about the medical field just by how he was describing each and every step he was taking to the MA during the procedure. I recommend this office to any and everyone looking for a PCP!! Dr. D is the best!!

I called to schedule a bloodwork exam. I asked if there were any available appointments this week? The lady who answered put me on hold, came back and wanted my insurance information first. I asked again if they had any available appointments this week and they lady's tone became unpleasant. She told me that I had to make one appointment to see a doctor and request bloodwork, and if the doctor THINKS that I need bloodwork, then I would have to make a second appointment for another day. Then another appointment to discuss the results of the bloodwork. I'd rather go to a different office that offers same day bloodwork exams after the initial doctor's visit. And, were they're kind and are patient oriented. After all, kindness and a good attitude is free.

El dr, le gusta los pacientes diabetico, porque tenemos más condiciones de salud y por ende el cobra más, en un día de consulta le dije, dr ya no tengo diabetes me cure, y saben lo que me dijo el dr! Ok muy bien osea el no me pregunto como lo hice, el no me pregunto como para decirle a sus pacientes, cada vez me llamaba era para hacerme estudio y yo le decía, pero dr a mi no me duele nada, pero de toda forma te quería hacer eso estudio, por favor el que lea esto pregúntale al dr como sanar la diabetes o la alta presión o alguna dolencias, el te va a recetar medicamentos para controlar, pero no para sanar, los dr ninguna sanar, solo sabe de medicamentos y de enfermedades, pero de sanar ello no sabe, para un dr sanar no es negocio

They have made marked improvement in the customer service (and doctors are simply a glorified service provider so that's how they should be rated) but be careful of their charges. Physicals are "preventative care" and the law now requires that insurance cover them 100% with no co-pays. This office will attempt to charge you co-pays for physicals as will others. Check with your insurance provider or agent and make sure you aren't being over charged. The new PA is excellent and really appears to care about his patients as much as Dr. De La Hoz does. I'm alive today because of Dr. De La Hoz so I'm a customer for as long as he's able to stay in business after the ACA kills medicine. I highly recommend his service and care.

I would like to take the time to tell you how great Dr. D is. I have been going to him over 20 years since he had his practice on 103rd St. He has helped me through the loss of my husband, through my self having a heart attack. He has always been there for me and I value him a doctor. He is one of the best in the City of Jacksonville. I can always get an appointment when it's needed. It's not that way with most doctors in this town. I have recommended him to many of my co-workers and they too have became his patients. If your shopping for a caring and highly knowledgeable in the medical field. I rate at the top of the chain for primary care doctors.

Dr. De La Hoz has been my physician for over 20 year and has never been anything other than professional, kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Over the years he has become someone I call friend. I have seen him shed tears for patients that passed away because he cares that deeply and wants to help everyone he comes in contact with. If you want a doctor who will always see you right on time, he is not for you, not because he oblivious to the importance of your time but because he will answer every question you have before he leaves your room to go to the next. No words can ever do this man justice, he is the best of the best.

If I could give 5000 stars, I would!!! I've been seeing Dr. Del La Hoz for 7 yrs now. He is not only my PCP but my husband's as well. As other reviewers have stated he goes out of his way to make sure all your questions are answered. He works with you to address your health concerns, rather than just telling you what to do. He wants to make sure you and him are on the same page and comfortable. And he goes out of his way to care for his patients. If you’re looking for a genuine, caring, and compassionate physician then you have found your guy!

I have an 84 year old father and Dr. De La Hoz is my dad's primary physician. The amount of care that Dr. De La Hoz gives my dad is outstanding. The staff is very friendly, patient and helpful. They have been of great benefit to us in getting my dad acclimated to the Jacksonville area having recently moved here. Dr. De La Hoz has an excellent understanding of the challenges my dad faces and a great game plan for the prevention of health issues my dad is at risk for. A+ rating with me!

I have been seeing Dr. D since 2006. He helps with the issue at hand and then he actually wants to know about you. How is home, work, etc. Dr. D even found me a better medication for my long term disorder without me asking for it. I travelled for work and would be out of the state for months at a time, but would ALWAYS come home to Dr. D when I was sick. He is not only a caring g doctor, but he is a wonderful human being!

I can only recommend this office. I have been treated by Dr. de la Hoz and his entire staff and they have been super good. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic I had the opportunity to receive treatment via telephone and video conference.
