I came to Jack in The box on several occasions two of the occasions I had a lot of trouble I had ordered my food online to be picked up. But when I arrived the food order is no where to be found and I had already paid for my order online with my debit card had my order number and everything now the first time I waited a very long time but they eventually did get my food together and did not charge me again so I was pleased with the outcome although I had to wait quite a long time. Now the second time I came there they could not find my order once again I showed them the order number they refuse to get me my food they said that they would have to charge me full price for everything and the whole purpose of why I ordered online was to get the online special and it's not my fault that they couldn't find my order I had already paid for the order once again online so they were trying to charge me two times for my order. At this time I had asked for the number to corporate they flat out refuse to give it to me. Instead they started calling some other manager at home going to ask them what they should do. I told them that what they should do is give me the number to corporate because I'm pretty sure that they are not allowed to refuse to give it to you. So I left out the restaurant proceeded to stand up front and look up the number to corporate and left them a lengthy message describing what their Jack in The box store they're on Geary Street is doing to their customers. Now other than those two incidents I do enjoy the food is usually tasty and warm when I get it in the milkshakes or top notch. If you want to have a nice meal and get it fast I would suggest just going in and ordering it yourself because you never know if you're going to end up being charged twice because they can't find your order.

Went about 11:30pm midnight. They j would close soon but they had a line out the door. There was a young man working the register? Next to the one I was receiving service from. He is an upstanding young man. He politely asked the gentleman helping me not to talk to me in the manner which he had chosen to address me with. All this before my jaw could hit the floor. He was very professional. (If he's not on the fast track to mgmt he should be.). I don't know your name, but if your reading this or know who he is tell him to stop by Paul's Flower Stand and ask for, Leslie, that's me. I just dismissed the event to tiredness after a hard day. This young man ended up serving my food to me. Offered a cordial, heartfelt apology and offered me free desert. I went at around 10:00 o'clock because I was craving a sour dough jack burger and some fries. First of all I pass by there every night because I live clise by there it is always crowded what seems to be a group of young people that probably out partying and are looking for a late night snack. I to had wait literally 45 minutes for my order and the people inside and outside the place were so loud and obnoxious, i wanted to just leave, 20 minutes into waiting I almost decided to get my money-back but no, I stayed and finally I got my food I don't live far so my food would have still been warm,I'm excited about getting my sourdough burger and it hard like card board, dry, and no butter or something on the bread and It had a tinge of burned smell to it I didn't even finish It, I just threw it away and started eating my fries which I realized weren't that warm when I left because they were cold and rubbery when I got home, Needless to say that was the worst sourdough burger I've ever had and I've had plenty prior to this visit I will not be going back. I was highly disappointed.

This was my first visit to a Jack In The Box location. Overall, it was a quick and reasonably priced option for solid fast food. The portions were good, which made up for two burgers, an order of fries, and a drink being almost $20 (I mean, this is fast food). The service was fine, and the atmosphere was as expected, although a little on the sketchy side. I went with the Classic Buttery Jack, and my significant other opted for the Classic Buttery Jack and regular fries. The food came out hot and fast, and we struggled to find a table that was not occupied or was clean. The fries and burgers were good, well above McDonald’s-level quality but still fast food. The sauce on the burgers was interesting – not bad, just unexpected. My significant other enjoyed the sauce more than I did, but I didn’t dislike it. I would eat at Jack In The Box again, but would probably choose another of their burgers, maybe something on sourdough. It was an a-okay experience and sufficed for a quick and decent dinner.

great food terrible experiences most times, this is the last time I come. It's late and all I want to do is get food and go home. The staff is great but the security is useless, they allow harassment of paying customers. They are a waste of money, get rid of them or get them to do their job. I'm standing outside the door waiting for my food and a homeless lady screams in my ear and tells me to get out her way, I'm literally standing against the glass I couldn't be in her way. We get into a argument the security does nothing so I go inside. After getting my food she's waiting outside the door to scream I'm my ear the second I leave, again the guard does nothing. The guard is lucky this was a woman or we would of got into a physical fight with how she was treating me. She continues to yell at me calling me names as I walk away. I'm never coming back you lost a customer, you should save your money on a guards they are useless, at least this one was.

Guilty, guilty pleasure! As fast food goes, I love it! I don’t know why, but you mentioned Jack in the Box and I start salivating. I went to treatment for my addiction to their cheap tacos. When I came out I felt like a whole new life lay in front of me. And then I saw that damned clown. I couldn't help myself and I wheeled into the takeout lane. I wish I could say I was Taco Free today, but I'm not. I even tried switching to the double cheeseburger meal to no avail. I always ordered a pair of tacos with it. I don't think I'll ever get past this addiction. At this point I'm not sure I want to get past this addiction. If you see me hanging out with the clown, have pity and buy me a couple of tacos.

I only gave this Jack in the Box 3 stars because the first time I went I was there 24 minutes before closing and they said they were close. I was so disappointed because I had walked so fast and so far for nothing. It really would not have been a big deal, but the man acted so rude. I was being ranged up and the manager I guess just steps in front of him and says we are close. I looked at my phone and it said 12:36. So I never write a bad review of a place with only one experience so I went again and the food was not fresh, burnt, and the service was okay.

You really need to fix people working at store. On December 13 2023, a guy in red t shirt working at store was really bad in his service. I asked him for my order and he wasn't replying, he was constantly ignoring, he only said "wait" once and it's understandable if the order is being prepared, but that was the the case here! My order was sitting on their counter for a while and it was ready all this time, all he had to do was hand it to me and he was on purpose ignoring me. It's honestly terrible. I had to ask another employee to hand me my order and he said "you should've asked someone for ur order" which i did but ur guy was constantly ignoring. Please fix ur service.

For fast food nothing beats Jack in the Box!They have a wide variety of menu items and even serve breakfast all hours.The staff,even though usually short handed,is always polite and helpful.They also have a public restroom-yay!Food is always cooked fresh to order so it may take a few minutes especially if they are busy,but its always worth the wait.On my last visit I got a couple of big croissant breakfast sandwiches(bacon,ham,eggs&cheese on a perfect,soft yet crusty croissant)and some curly fries(made fresh with their delicious mystery seasoning)to go and all was still warm when I got home.I know it sounds like I was paid for this review but I wasn't,I really love this place!

Usually I don't go to Jack's but this is a family owned franchise and they're trying hard to deliver a good service to this (my) not easy neighborhood. So I support them once in a while. Never been disappointed so far. Service is friendly, restaurany was clean and food is as good as you expect from a fast food restaurant. Only the surroundings with many homeless begging at the door can be a little challenging. But if you're a tourist buy your meal, look for a place at the window, relax and watch the real San Francisco happening right before your eyes.

The quality and size of the burgers has significantly dropped as the prices have increased. It's extremely disappointing and after my last visit I probably will not be eating there anytime in the near or distant future because of the fact that once the quality have a fast food restaurant like this drops it's rare that they ever return to where they were because they're more about profits than anything else. It's a shame because Jack in the Box used to be one of the largest burgers around and now it's even smaller than In-N-Out Burger.

The location and service were great up until I received my order and pointed out the excessive amount of sauces. Then I got an attitude from the cashier who said it wasn't his job to hear complaints and then called the cook so I could tell her. Then she gave me an attitude and said, "Okay, next time." Save your money or eat at Pinecrest across the street. They are delicious!

Hecka Gross now.it should be zero stars.my burger bun was burnt the burger had a whole bunch of mustard and it was sloppy and gross. I had the chicken nuggets and they were really tasty. Someone in my party had the chicken strips and it was a ripoff, $18 for dry chicken. The burgers were delicious! Service was really disappointing, staff were paying a attention but they were at least fast. The atmosphere was terrible because of the construction and it was really dark but maybe it will be better once they finish the job.

The only good part about this place that it’s 24h! Otherwise if you have other options do yourself a favour and search for another places! It’s not bad if you’re starving at night and you don’t have options. The good things were they’re affordable, similar to McDonald’s prices, but Their fountain drinks taste like water, their buns are very dry/ old, plus very very greasy wasn’t the best experience. I came in at 12ish am there was lots of homeless people in that area! ON THE OTHER HAND!! Their curly fries are good!

Ordered breakfast here, staff were very friendly and in a good mood which is always nice. Found our eggs and bacon to be very dry and flavourless but we liked our breakfast biscuits, the hotcakes and our hash brown. The restroom was only accessible to customers and they were cleaner than I thought. The rest of the dining area seemed to be clean and relatively tidy.

Medium level fast food. Typical American burger and food place, with better quality than McDonald's or Burger King kind of fast food, for a little more money. Really deluded by their offer buy 1 and get 1 for free after completing an online survey, at the counter then are gonna say you must buy also a drink, thing that is absolutely not written anywhere, neither on the ticket nor online while completing the offer. Felt really tricked, they lost a client.

The area and the people who go here are a little sketchy and the building jtself has been in construction for awhile so it looks pretty rough on the outside.. the frys aren't the best since I tend to get stiff frys but overall, it's ok/average

excellent location... 2 blocks from my home. fast service... they had my order ready, and me out the door, in under 5 minutes! (granted, i had only one meal in my order. but still, they cooked my burger for me in no time!) diligent staff... the place was spotless as well as organized. The most polite and kind hearted management I ever have seen. This homeless man was just about fifty cents short to buy a hamburger and rather than turn him away the manager reached into his own pocket and covered the deficient funds. I'm not a big fan of the food, it is fast food after all, but everything was clean and as expected in that department. Would have been three stars but the manager's behaviour was five stars.

Have been a fan of the "Jack in the Box app" but this time around it was an unpleasant experience. Placed my order, prepaid for order but when I went to pick it up found out half the order was missing. It took numerous requests to get the order straightened out. By the time I did resolve the issues my food was cold. very disappointed particularly since I convinced several friends to sign up and utilize the app.

I love the food here, but the service stinks. I stood in line for 24 minutes to order and when I did they got my order wrong, then I had to stand in line again for another 12 minutes just to have it made wrong a second time.

Terrible is an understatement for this place. Every order from both locations on Geary have been wrong every single time. Doesn't matter if it's delivered or take out, it sucks. I've spoken to the GM and then went back after a month; same old bs. If you must have Jacks, go to the Bayshore location, better food, better service; there is a reason the line goes down the block at this spot!

I ate at a Jack in the Box for the first time on Saturday February 29, 2020 & I loved it. Shame that we don't have them in Canada. The cheese burgers were great, the chicken sandwiches amazing too .. the curly fries were delicious. Since Feb 29 in LA I have eaten at Jack/Box about half a dozen times; the last time being on Sunday March 8th in San Francisco.

The dining area could use some cleaning but everything I could see behind the counter looked good. It's nice to be able to pick up a quick, cheap breakfast sandwich when heading out for the day. I'll be honest, I was aiming for another place nearby but they weren't open. There's something to be said for the chains and their regular schedule, sometimes.

Always a very nice and friendly staff here. I tend to get my order within 10mins or less, despite the fact that all of the delivery people and mobile orders that come in could easily screw up another store's order fulfilllment times. Can't go wrong with a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger after a long night of partying, anyway. Definitely would reccomend(((

Had their Breakfast Jack's 3 of the 4 mornings I was staying nearby as this place was super handy. Enjoyed every one of my perfectly prepared breakfasts. They claim the health and safety of their guests is pre-eminent, but they allowed water from their operations to flood the business downstairs for over two years before they were sued. They destroyed the business downstairs and they don't deserve to have any more customers. Boycott this selfish and arrogant owner, Saeed Khan.

Very clean Jack in the Box considering its right between the Tenderloin and Nob Hill/Union Square neighborhoods. Food has always been nice and hot and pretty fresh tasting. Got everything on the menu you would expect from your typical JBo. Servers are very friendly and efficient and orders come out quickly.

This Jack in the box is small and has a drive-through menu board outside of the store which is wired considering this location has no drive-through. I came here a couple of time eat dinner. The workers here are nice. The food is good. Noting to complain about. Only four stars because the location is small.

Surprisingly good - try the buttery jack so creamy and buttery and good! The service is quite fast and the food is also fairly good for a fast-food price. Not ashamed to admit it but I had this for lunch for 4 days straight! Place could be slightly cleaner though although it is by no means dirty.

Came here late at night, to my amazement they made a nice burger. Took ages to get served, I think all the servers thought all the people in the line were just killing time. The burger was fresh made and hot with fresh ingredients. Nice taste and for an Aussie the small combo is a large meal.

Completely wrecked my order. Ordered a Sourdough Jack, they gave me chicken (mostly chewy, fatty chicken, at that). Completely forgot the Southwest Salad I ordered. This is not the first time this has happened. Having to constantly double-check my order defeats the purpose of fast food.

Burger place around the corner. I liked what the offering. For the vegetarian person like me they made the customization and respected my choice of food. The prices are reasonable. There are lots of options to select from. There is ample sitting are on both the floors of the store.

A little expensive but it's still a great place. They have the fountain soda machine which the employees get the drinks for you (you can pick from the many flavors but you can't pour it yourself). Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean.all in all, a very friendly, safe environment.

What can I say it's Jack in the box. I had tacos. They're Jack in the box tacos and they were very Jack in the boxy. This location however staffed by people who are great at their job. And I know it's not an easy job... five stars for them four stars for the tacos

I enjoy being able to get some late-night grub, but the hours posted are wrong. I went in at 12:10am, but the manager was yelling about how they were closed... even when the posted hours are until 1:00am. Please change your hours online, and the posted hours for your location.

This place gave me food poisoning.. Had the chicken burger early in the morning. Maybe it had been sitting out, maybe it wasn't prepared hygienically. I felt absolutely rotten for about 30 hours. I've been to India and didn't even get sick... The staff was quite nice though.

Atrocious customer service and the staff all need to be replaced with people who care about their jobs.

Much better than you'd expect given the location. Morning crew was super friendly and helpful, not to mention efficient. Food was well-prepared. The dining area, which has an upstairs area also, was impressively clean. It's downscale downtown, but it's fun.

Tacos were okay for the price. But that doesn't say much. They were pretty oily and soggy. We tried to go the night before around 12:30 AM. They are listed to close at 1:00AM, but they wouldn't let us in. Revise your hours if you won't be open until 1AM.

The staff, food and service is very good... the environment hmm... not that good...
