My rating reflects the office staff as much if not more than Dr Stephenson. It is a nightmare trying to talk to someone at this office. Every time I need to call I’m on hold through the automated answering service for 30-45 minutes before reaching an actual human. There is zero excuse for that to happen more than once, let alone 6 times in the last two months. Then I was scheduled for a virtual appointment with the doctor at 1:30pm. At 1:45, when I had not received any contact from him or the office I called and sat on hold for 43 minutes before getting someone. They transferred me to one of his staff members who tried to tell me she called but the line was busy. (Literally I sat and stared at my phone from 1:20 till 1:45 when I called, and even then my call (like most cell phones) lets me know if I have an incoming call. She then asked me all the questions I had answered twice in the last two days when they sent me the online check in twice! Once I made it through her questions I had to hang up to wait for the doctor to text a link for us to connect. It was more than an hour after my appointment time before I finally saw the Dr. All of this was for a required “getting to know you” appointment because my doctor left the practice and Dr Stephenson took over for him, not because something was wrong. In the end, he was visibly annoyed that I had a virtual appointment even after I explained that I live an hour from the office and didn’t want to drive an hour each way for a 20-minute conversation. I have been part of the medical group for a number of years and have previously loved the office. Clearly things have changed.

Dr. Stephenson is such a humble and knowledgeable individual. I presented to his office in need of a new PCP. Given my active athletic background I was looking for a PCP and someone formally trained in Sports Medicine. Hearing nothing but praise and amazing recommendations from friends and neighbors, I knew he was the right doctor for me even before my first visit. My first visit was just as great as I hoped if not even better. Dr. Stephenson displayed great knowledge in medicine and clearly knew what he was doing. In particular, I appreciated his genuine empathy and taking time to listen to my story and complicated history. He treated me as a true friend and not just another patient on his busy work census for the day. I left my appointment knowing that he not only practices medicine but also the honest art of healing. Highly recommend.

I started seeing Dr Stephenson this year, as a senior sometimes doctors tend to look through you and tell you whatever. My initial appointment with him was very through. He is patient and kind.answered my questions and addresses my concerns. I simply can’t find a better physician! I will agree at times it’s utter chaos but it was a first visit. I’ve had to wait to schedule in the front office and in the phone however apparently they have email to his nurse but I didn’t get the link. I am confident in my new Dr!

My long time Dr. Retired, I was "given a replacement" I've seen him 3 times. I wait longer to see him than he spends with me. He doesn't give his opinion on my multiple issues he TELLS ME WHAT TO DO. My children are older than he is and they would never talk to me this way. I live in this body. You should be consulting me on what is normal. NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO. God IS PERFECT. DOCTORS PRACTICE. ASK QUESTIONS. DONT GIVE ORDERS!!!!!

My son has autism he is 12. Due to school requirements he had to get a physical for school. They had no pediatric appointments until November, so he had to see a primary doctor. Dr Devon Stephenson was amazing!! My son doesn’t do well with strangers or new situation, and we just moved here from NC. So new place, new school, and new doctors. But that Doctor listened to my sons rants and was so kind and patient!

I was not happy with my new patient visit. It seemed like the doctor did not care about what was going on with me and only cared about taking my health history. Plus I was in bad back pain on a scale of 8 and they did nothing to help me. Plus he said I do not have anything wrong with my sinus and said it was probably allergies and to use a nasal spray, which I told him I was using and they are not working.

The visit was for my autistic adult grandson Austin. Dr. Stephenson made him very comfortable, Austin answered any questions asked and talked freely with Dr Stephenson. Austin asked me when we left, "Can I have him for a doctor every time I come here?" Thank you Dr Stephenson I believe his anxiety going to the doctor will not happen when he comes to you!

Had come to him a week prior about pain in right upper side. Sent me for ultra sound. Told me if pain gets worse to come back in. It did so made another appt with him. When I saw him he said why didn't you go to emergency room if pain was that bad and sent me on my way. Would not recommend him to anyone.

This is my second visit with Dr James Stephenson. He takes time to listen of my health. So for Dr James Stevenson I would recommend him to my friends. He's not like the rest of the doctors to get you in there 5 minutes then leave. Keep up the good work Dr Stevenson thank you. Clayton galtier.

I appreciated the patient and attentive care. My regular dr christa Lehman remembers my clients I go to and asks me about them,also remembers what I asked about , sighting other experiences and studies.

He’s a very good doctor very Professional and very knowledgeable about my well-being sometimes education is in a way of personal experiences and I don’t see that with him. I must say he listens
