My Wife and I had a custom ring done at Jared's so we have extensive experience with the sales staff at this location and the process. We came to Jared 6 months before our wedding date and had been looking for the perfect ring for a very long time. Jared didn’t have the ring either, however, the staff did sit down with us and literally start sketching out our ideas for a custom. We’ve been to every jeweler in Austin and no one ever seemed excited about customizing the jewelry. Most sales staff is definitely concerned with making a sale today and I didn’t get that feeling here. Now, the custom job was definitely a process. First, the ring is sketched out by hand by the staff and then it is sent off to the first official part of a three phase process; CAD (computer aided design), wax, and then “finishing touches.” I will warn you that you have to be patient and this is a process that does take time. The other factor, and something that no one will tell you, is that these custom rings aren’t going to look exactly like a designer ring; the stones, prongs, metal, etc. are set by hand instead of a machine and you may be able to see a difference. We had to kick back the CAD at least 4 times before we were comfortable enough to go to the wax stage so there was a bit of back and forth and frustration but in the end we do really enjoy the ring. Customer service after the sale is good. We have now called and spoken with our sales representative after the sale to a couple minor adjustments done to the rings and to have them soldered together and I have no complaints. Still the same customer service we received the entire time. However, this process was NOT by any means easy and I did feel that we did the majority of the work as far as seeing things wrong with the CAD and the ring itself. We had over $5,000 invested in the custom alone (not including the main stone which was purchased separately) and I felt that we should not have had to hold their hand quite that much during this process. In hindsight we probably were a bit difficult to deal with and we probably didn’t need to be so anal about the process. A majority of the small tweaks are done at the very end in the “finishing” stages. The problem with that is that you have a lot of money tied up and at that point you are sort of invested. I think the customer service is very good, we are glad that we did business here, and I would recommend them. I do feel there was some sort of lack of communication between the individuals who create the “CAD” designs and our salesperson – this caused much back and forth for us and heartache b.c we started running out of time and getting frustrated. That is the only reason I give them 4 instead of 5 stars. Most of the reviews here are garbage... people who never gave them a chance and complainers. We love the ring, we got it just in time for the wedding, and thanks!
I was assisted by Anthony at the Jared’s at lakeline location in Austin Texas . Anthony is simply the best . Anthony greeted me at the door , opened the door and recognized me even after a year . He knew exactly what needed, just a free lifetime battery replacement and did it in the spot no problems even though the Tag Heur watch was bought over twenty years ago. We talked about our appreciation of watches and that I had purchased a few of my watches from this location. Even though i did not purchase a watch from him today , i was treated like a Vip. What a professional and extremely friendly and knowledgeable team player Anthony is , a real asset for any company to have . I will always ask for Anthony to help me as its just a pleasure to do business with him. Anthony walked me over to my wife who was assisted by Devina. Devina was patient, knowledgeable and courteous as well. We wound up buying a very nice diamond to update my wife’s wedding ring . I have been a longtime customer of Jareds and its because of the service of emplyes like Anthony, Devina and Dina who always know who we are, treat us like old friends and genuinely like what they do and do it with passion, professionalism and knowledge. I hope you pass this along to them that how they treat people is sinply outstanding and does not go unnoticed. I thank you Jareds and these employees . Jareds customer for life. I'll be honest this is the first place I have ever reviewed. My fiance and I purchased both my engagement ring and wedding bands from this Jared's, and a week before our wedding we took the rings in to get them soldered together. They had the rings done by the date they set so no problems there, but when we walked into the store to pick up my rings not a single person greeted us, and the store was NOT busy. So we went to the pick up area and stood there patiently for someone to help us, after 10 mins of no one saying a word to us a lady helping another customer told us someone would be right with us.. well they weren't. I even made eye contact with an employee that was just standing there doing nothing and she didn't say a word to me!! So I finely decided I would act like I was going to buy something and started walking around the ring cases acting very interested, not a minute later someone asked if I had been helped....... I said no and took her straight back to pick up my ring, apparently she was new and had to get help from the lady I had earlier made eye contact with. She was extremely rude, hardly said a word to us and just acted like we were bothering her. After how much we spent on our rings here I think the customer service should be a bit better.
Initally came in on 11/6/2020 my with Boyfriend to shop for a promise ring. Ended up leaving buying nothing. The experience started out well with the sales associate who started out helping me she was very personable, friendly, warm, charismatic helpful and respectful of our budget. Eventually ended up with someone else who picked out a different ring to show me that I liked more, this associate I ended up with spoke broken English and was genuinely the PUSHIEST person I have EVER interacted with. I had to tell her 3 times that "I wanted to look at some other places to make SURE that this is the ring I absolutely LOVE" (the ring I was interested in at Jared) before she would let us politely go somewhere else. I had planned before I even walked into the store to go to at least 5 stores because I wanted options before I made my decision. Like I said, it started out pleasant and exciting and ended up uncomfortable by being AGGRESSIVELY HARD SOLD to buy THIS ring. The interest I had in the ring at Jared immediately went out the window when my Boyfriend and I got outside of the store and talked about how uncomfortable that interaction made us both. Day ended at Kay, had a wondful experience and got my ring there.
I just took my wedding ring in to be inspected and because a stone had fallen out. It came back with a different stone missing. That's pretty ridiculous. I also paid the extra for the guarantees for two other items, and when I brought those in to be inspected, Dina said that they don't inspect anything without diamonds or hard gemstones. I had to tell her several times that the warranty clearly states I MUST get the pieces inspected every 6 months. Once I showed her the paper that says it, she finally agreed to print out something saying she'd inspected them. She then tried to tell me that no, I hadn't paid extra for anything, that the inspections and stone replacement was free, and then I had to show her the receipt that says I did. She was nice enough at first (she was the one who sold me the pieces in the first place!) but once I said that I wasn't looking to buy anything right then, all the niceness went away. I was waiting to purchase something else for my birthday when I went to pick up my wedding ring from being repaired, but after that treatment, no thanks.
I took my ring in to be cleaned and inspected, sadly they polished the gold off my ring. I left the ring there to see if it could be fixed with the understanding that it was going to be mailed back to me because I live 3 and a half hours away from a Jared's. The only reason I even left my ring was because they said they would mail it back. This was a nightmare! I called after receiving the email that it was ready to be picked up and was told that it was in the mail. Then two weeks go by and no ring, so I called the store, and the manager that I spoke to just wanted to get me off the phone and said they would have the person I worked with call me then hung up before I could ask anything. I had called back and once again got the runaround. Finally got ahold of the original person I spoke to they said they would mail my ring but only to a closer store. So, after almost 3 weeks I will have to inconveniently get my ring that they couldn't fix! I will never get another thing from Jared's especially from this store.
My boyfriend and I went to Jared at Lakeline in Austin on 10/22/22. He was buying a watch for my me for my birthday. When we walked in, we were greeted and asked about the reason for our visit. I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning by being shown so many different things and being pulled in so many different directions by staff. Dina took charge, sensed my hesitation and left me to gather my thoughts on what I wanted and browse on my own. I appreciate her checking on me from time to time to see if I had narrowed down what I wanted and offered a few more suggestions. She was very friendly and threw in a few ring jokes since I could not find a watch. Once I found what I wanted, we were introduced to Bernardo for a sizing. He was a very sweet man and he and my boyfriend had a great time getting in discussions about men’s watches and watch history. Bernardo knows his watches. He made my watch fit perfectly. It was a successful visit and I do hope to bring more business to them in the future.
The woman that works here is so embarrassingly discriminatory. We went here to confirm my engagement ring was the correct size (because even though we sized it, it didn’t seem right) and to look at wedding rings and gold chains (it’s custom in my culture to give the bride a gold necklace for the marriage ceremony). When we walked in, it was immediately obvious she was judging us for our casual clothes, age, and race. She asked us what we were looking for and I said “Well we want to see if my ring is the right size and —“ when she cut me off and asked “Is it a Jared piece?” to which I replied “Well no but —“ to which she interrupted me again to say “We won’t look at anything that isn’t Jared. You need to go to some mom and pop shop or something.” and then proceeded to open the door and show us out. Nevertheless, I can’t say the trip wasn’t a complete time - now we know we won’t be purchasing our wedding rings, or any jewelry for that matter, through Jared.
Sad, so sad …. The only Jared we go to and buy jewelry, watches, etc. from for the past 13 years has failed us… we are sorry to say, they have lost a customer for life… Dina, precious lady, attentive in the short-term, attended us for the third time today… she didn’t even remember who we were… for shame.. We look for what we want, they don’t have anything that piques our interest, but we concede to get some things and for the first time they don’t have the ring in her size stocked, and when we go to pay with our Jared card account that we had for the past 13 years, in good standing, was wiped from the system and removed all our credit… needless to say, we don’t have the time to redo the entire process again to have an account with them and find this entirely frustrating… Goodbye Jared, we will support our local economy instead which offers unique pieces with a more reasonable price. Good riddance…
Two words....DINA IDAIS. She is knowledgeable and has great customer service. She greeted me at the door, was very personable and guided me in choosing a new ring and setting. She also inspected and cleaned all of my other jewelry. I had to return two more times to inspect the diamond and to get the setting. I made sure Dina was working & went on those days. Everyone seems friendly, but Dina goes out of her way. Honestly, it was the best experience I've had at a jeweler besides my hometown family owned one. If you're in the Austin area, Dina is THE person see! Forgot to mention that this is one of the only jewelers in the area that still has in house jewelry repair. That’s huge! Helzberg had my other ring for 4 WEEKS just to tighten a prong! While I was selecting my new setting at Jared, they dipped my other white gold rings for me in under 30 mins! That’s great service!
Absolutely worst experience ever having my jewelry repaired. Scratched my opal, reset the stone with a mismatching prong and then charged me full price. I was so surprised that they would try to pass off such shoddy workmanship at a place with such a great reputation but I guess nobody takes pride in honest work anymore. DO NOT HAVE YOUR JEWELRY REPAIRED HERE!!! Bernardo also proceeded to tell me about myself using astrology after getting my birthdate for my claim ticket, then told me about my husband and how my marriage was “not a good match” . Obviously that stuff is just rubbish but his incredible negativity really made me wonder if his own relationships were any good. The major lack of professionalism was my main issues. Also, the manager refused to come out and speak to me because “it was a repair issue.” This place is trash regardless of its fine appearance.
The worst customer service ever!!!! My son in law got reeled in by the Black Friday 0 % interest rate promotion. He Financed a ring for my daughter and the rate was not honored. He was charged a 30% interest rate instead!!! When he called to get this fixed he was told that there was nothing they could do about it. He explained his frustration and the manager on duty today 01/23/2022 told him that if he wasn't happy he could return the ring. The ring has been sized and sautered with my band that I gave her as a gift. When this was explained she said "sorry sir, there is nothing I can do." The lack of tact and professionalism is outrageous! Over $4000 dollars was spent there from a hardworking young man. It saddens me to see how these people lied to him and now don't want to honor their promotion!!! Steer away from this place and their lying, money hungry salespeople!!
This is the second time I've visited this location to have my ring cleaned. The first time they pulled up my number, did the diamond inspection & failed to actually enter any record of my visit. These visits are important because if I don't get my ring cleaned & inspected every 6 months, it falls out of warranty. Today I went back, the woman in a hijab ushered me to the ring cleaning counter, cleaned my ring & sent me on my way. Didn't ask for any information & didn't record my visit. Had to call customer service again to make sure my cleaning was documented for the sake of my warranty. 3 stars because everyone was very friendly & pleasant and customer service fixed my issue anyway. If you're covered by their Diamoned Guarantee make sure you ask for the "diamond inspection" and triple-check to make sure they documented your visit if you care about your warranty.
I purchased a gift online for ship to store I was unable to cancel as this item had shipped and had been processed. When I spoke with customer service I was told to call the store once the item arrived and at that point cancellation could be processed. I called the store to cancel, I spoke to one of the employees Devina and she communicated with me that I would need to come in store for refund. I did not feel necessary to have to go back in store for an item I had not picked up. She then said she would work with her manager to complete my request. Devinas communication was prompt and resolved my issue quickly. My return was processed in a very simple manner she even offered to send up close pictures of an item I am interested in online for any future orders. Because of this experience I plan on doing buisness with this location in the near future.
We haven’t had our rings cleaned or inspected in almost 14 year’s due to being overseas with the military. All of the staff here is so helpful and friendly. I don’t know their names but the two ladies were so helpful with having my wedding ring resized. It fits perfectly now! We dropped our rings off on a Friday and they were ready by Sunday. The lady that helped us that day was great too! I’m thankful we didn’t have to wait weeks to get our rings back. They also have a nice selection of jewelry and watches for men/women. If you’re thinking about buying any jewelry, then I would definitely come here.
I walked out of this place today with a bad taste...felt extremely insulted by a sales agent. She literally showed that she was wasting her time by showing us the engagement ring samples. Pretty much said that. Very arrogant. It was humiliating and highly unusual. She clearly judged us for no reason. We will never visit this shop again and will not recommend this place to anyone ever. You simply lost a substantial business. What kind of sales team you employ? Clearly this person wasn't suitable for a customer facing role.i'm glad anyway, one less shop to think about.
I am by far the happiest woman in the world thanks to Diane, my sales consultant and Joshua, the store manager (and my fiance of course lol). I am a very hard person to shop for, I like simplistic but beautiful and this Jared store delivered just that! I love love love my oval Diamond! I cannot wait to go back to get my wedding band in April. We live an hour away from this store, but let me tell you, the drive is worth it. Diane was so nice to work with and she was doing everything she could to find me what I wanted. Thank you so much! See you in a few months!
I called Jared on a Saturday afternoon for a very tedious and specific request. Dina Idais answered the phone and was immediately helpful, kind, and cooperative. As soon as she understood the request, she gave me clear details on the next steps, went out of her way to get exactly what I wanted, and did it very quickly. Dina turned my stress about the situation into immediate ease by the way she handled it. Would absolutely recommend, and I will shop here if I need anything jewelry related. I will say if you want the best customer service regardless of budget, go to Jared's. As someone who is in their 20's shopping for an engagement for their first time with no clue on what to due; this crew at Jared's did not disappoint. Terese helped me every step of the way to finding the perfect ring. While Terese was closing me out, Lou for sure brightened the entire environment around keeping everyone in good spirits with never a dull moment. Will for sure come back in the future to buy more from this location!
I visited many stores before Jared and none of them showed the service level that Divina and Kashka provided. With their expertise and knowledge they helped me find the perfect engagement ring, with the diamond characteristics I was looking for. Both gave me great tips and I cannot be more happy with the end result. I really recommend Jared for all your jewelry needs. Every single service was on time and done with great quality. This review goes for the Jared The Jewelry Galleria in Cedar Park store for a purchase that I made yesterday on a Omega watch and a wedding ring. First and foremost, I highly recommend this store due to their highly professionalism and respectable employees there and also I would like to praise their customers service that goes beyond and above to take care of you. I dont recall the names of the two employees / the jewelers that took care of me at the store but they were outstanding.
walked in and they were pretty rude. went in for a resizing and she asked if we needed anything else and we said no. she then proceeded to look at my fiancé and i and told us to look in the clearance. saying something like that to a customer, in my option, is quite rude. guess she didn't want any future business. Also seen on other reviews, if you're needing anything other than buying something from there go anywhere else if you want to be treated like a person.
We had a very good experience with Jeff. Jeff was very knowledgeable and helpful in showing us the many options for creating a custom ring. He was friendly, easy to talk to, shared many different ways to create the ring we wanted and at a reasonable price. The process was fairly easy and was done within the estimated time frame. Overall, I would recommend coming here as our experience was very good and we received a beautiful product.
This is the only place that I buy Jewlery from. Dina Idais is the best sales person I’ve ever done business with. Ask for her when you come in and she will make it a great experience. The Jared Store by the Lakeline Mall in Cedar Park, Tx is a great location. From the 1st time my son and I walked in the door Divina Fox treated us great. Listen to what he needed. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She is one of the best person there. Then rushing it to make the engagement go smooth was the greatest thing ever. Totally recommend this location and Divina to help out in everything needed.
Brought in a 10k white gold spider charm to have a leg replaced. After trying to dismiss me she went to the back and came back and informed me it wasn’t broken and that’s how it was made, despite being able to see where the leg broke off. She was rude and condescending. It’s a spider…with 7 legs…because I broke the last one off Go somewhere else where your appreciated, don’t waste your time here.
Tiffany was AWESOME. I went in knowing absolutely nothing about diamonds or engagement rings. She was extraordinarily helpful, supremely knowledgeable, & I could not have been more satisfied with my experience. She helped me find the perfect engagement ring & worked it within my budget, and my experience was nothing less than superb. Highly recommend this location, and i suggest you ask for Tiffany!
My boyfriend and I went simply to look at engagement rings and Dina and Alexandria were so welcoming and amazing, they made our experience there super easy and relaxing. Also, instead of just looking at the rings, we were able to customize my dream ring! They did such an amazing job helping us out, especially when it came down to talking about pricing, I’m so glad they were there to help us out!!

Dina was great, very professional and sweet! She was very helpful to my mom and myself with our separate needs. Got a great deal for my mom on her multi-piece purchase and was able to replace my necklace under warranty that was gifted to me so I wouldn’t have to wait a month for the repair. It was a great first experience for us both, we will definitely be back and highly recommend!
DIVINA is so incredibly helpful and truly amazing ! This is my 2nd purchase when her and from the moment I walked in the door she remembered all the details I shared the last time I was visited two years ago. We went to Jared to upgrade my wedding ring and it was an A++ experience. Dina Idais helped me put together my perfect ring! She even found me a band to match when I didn't like any of the options we had tried. When we were 1st looking for a ring 2 years ago we visited many custom jewelers but NONE of them provided the service and selection that Jared did! Highly recommend!
My boyfriend ordered me a ring from their website and they sent the wrong size, we had to go to the store and get sizing, I even gave the lady a ring I had on to size it correctly, everything seemed fine, a few days later I received the ring and instead of it being the size we asked for they sent it 2 sizes bigger. It seems like they don’t pay attention to their customers.
We went in to pick up a plain rose gold wedding band. Dina I. was so kind and showed us some other options that I hadn’t considered. I found the most gorgeous ring with diamonds on either side that my engagement ring sits in the middle of. It’s dainty and elegant and I LOVE IT. So glad we decided to go into Jared and were helped by Dina. The price was also reasonable.
My husband and I have bought several items here and have always had a good experience. The staff greet us when we walk in and help us promptly. I take a few of my items in every six months for inspection and cleaning, which they do for free in only a few minutes. They have even offered, a couple of times, to clean a ring I was wearing that I hadn't even bought there!
Jeff helped me create the most beautiful custom engagement ring! I came to him with a picture of an ornate ring from Instagram. I wasn’t even sure they were going to be able to create my ring because of the interesting design. Jeff never doubted that he could make this ring exactly how I wanted it to be. Great experience from the get-go! My husband bought my engagement band from here which was a custom build, as well as my wedding band which the designers helped to create using some family heirloom stones that we brought in. I get many compliments and the servicing, repairs and maintenance program is fantastic! Dina has always been a great help.

Went to a a place before going here. Was not happy and didn’t feel right about the place. Called Jared and Not only did I get exactly what I wanted. Everyone has a great personality. No used car sales people here. Just Genuine people that want to make sure you have a great experience! I can’t recommend or Thank Anthony enough! Awesome guy!

The repair and cleaning service they gave me was affordable and yielding great results! Please don’t purchase jewelry here or at any comparable jewelry store. These places regularly sell their jewelry at double, if not triple what the jewelry is actually worth. Bought a couple rings here for over $1000. One ring was appraised at $200 and the other I was told would not be bought at most, if any, reputable jewelry store.
This location is the best Jared’s we’ve been to! We already had my engagement ring but now we’re ordering bands and they made the process so easy. They were super helpful with customizing the order and quotes, and were very friendly explaining exactly what they were doing every step. Jeffery, Anthony, and Davina were the best help!

I didn’t catch the name of the woman in corn rows that “helped” me, but I can tell you she was combative, dismissive and very unpleasant. If she is any indication of how customers are now treated at the Lakeline or any other Jared location I will happily cancel my card and take my business elsewhere.

Had a really unpleasant experience. I went to see the wedding band and the lady who showed us the band pushed us to make the payment. The band was pretty but it is a important dicision. When i said i will come back she called another guy to push us to buy. Felt just like a car dealership.
