I took my bike to Jet for an issue with the DI-2 being intermittent. After almost a week in the shop (and having to follow up several times), I was advised the mechanic could not work out what the issue was and had ‘replaced a few components’ which ‘seemed to have resolved the issue’. I picked the bike up and paid almost $400. After riding the bike twice, the problem was still there, so I took it back again. The second mechanic rung me after a few days and advised me that it was a battery issue and I needed to replace the battery - which he did. When I went to pick up the bike a second time I was asked again to pay almost $400. I asked why this issue wasn’t found the first time and the store couldn’t tell me. They also insinuated that it may be a different issue and that they had gotten rid of the first mechanic. Things didn’t add up and the stores inability to resolve the issue in the first week meant I was out of pocket $400 for no reason. I discussed this with the manager but they advised they were unable to do anything about it. Very disappointing. I would not take a bike to this store to be serviced again. Response to the owners reply: I’m sorry to hear about your mechanic. The second mechanic I dealt with told me the previous mechanic was ‘let go’. Must of been a mistake hey? As soon as the second mechanic worked on the bike, the battery issue was discovered and the battery was replaced. To answer your question - this has resolved the issue. The first time the bike was in for repair I was told the issue couldn’t be found and that the mechanic had to do a process of elimination. This ended with several components being replaced that probably didn’t need to be, hours of labour and several diagnostic tests, all at a large cost to me. This has nothing to do with high-end bikes and ageing components. It has to do with the mechanics ability to diagnose issues and resolve them. In regards to the costs you mention - you tried to charge me for another diagnostic test and several hours of additional labour which had already been done and paid for previously. I have never treated any staff member with disrespect. I will not agree to paying large amounts of money for a job that was not done properly. If a mechanic can not diagnose and resolve and issue, it isn’t the customer’s responsibility to pay for their negligence.

I bought my first bike from these guys and wish I hadn’t. Just getting into the biking community and loving biking. But the experience of purchasing my first bike with jet has been a disappointing one. Especially because I am looking to add to my bike collection with a road bike and had spent the weekend looking at the female road bikes jet offered online. I bought my brand new bike, purchased in September from jet back to the store in November for its first service as the chain faulted when I was biking with experienced mates and they told me to go get it serviced. As it’s a normal thing that needs adjusting when you start out after the first six to eight weeks of riding. My chain (I think jet didn’t give me an explanation of what they fixed nor did I get any record of service again) faulted completely on Tuesday morning when I was riding to work on the road and the gears wouldn’t hold at all post that. Turns out it wasn’t serviced and they had no record of the November service in the system. On the phone I was accused of not servicing my bike and causing this problem and in store when I went to pick it up I asked had everything been done this time and explained again what happened the first time I bought it in and they were like oh well.

Bought a bike here a year ago and regretted it ever since. After having multiple problems and taking it back to get fixed, not only did they fail to fix the problems but they also tried to charge me for the servicing and parts, which were quite clearly brand new and should have been fixed/replaced under warranty. Eventually, after at least four attempts, I took the bike to a different store who fixed everything first time (thanks Happy Wheels!). Finally, to top things off, when the frame needed replacing under warranty a few months later, it took them over three months!!! Never any updates, just apologies and always "another week or two" whenever I called them. Now I have the bike back with a different colour frame to what they said it would be... go figure. Still chasing a few missing parts many months later. I should have trusted my gut when initially treated with such contempt during the sale process

Had an awesome experience purchasing a bike from these guys. They have a wide range of hard to find niche quality products and more importantly offer sound advice in a friendly and relaxing manner. I purchased a bike from them and they fielded telephone calls from me in the lead up to the purchase, invited me to the store demoing the different bikes, arranged a test ride for me and provided great advice and support with all the extras that come when buying a bike. Whilst at the store, I noticed that they gave the same great service to other customers, even those buying small, low value items like shirts. To top it off, they also invited me to join the Saturday morning shop ride. Great service and another reminder why it is important to continue to support brick and mortar cycle stores and not the online suppliers just pushing products

Mark Newton did a bike fit for me 6 years ago and it was mm perfect. 5 years later after changing saddle and integrated bar and stem it was time to get a check up as I had a 160km ride with 3000m of climbing coming up.This time I was cared for by Adam Becker who tweaked my position and also gave me great advice on breathing technique in a highly professional manner. The reward came in the big ride by giving me perfect position on the bike and breathing technique to focus on which helped greatly especially during climbing. I was looking for a specific bike when I went into the store. I was served by Adam who was very helpful. He showed me an example of the bike in question and verified I was looking for the correct size. He also explained the difference between this and other models, and gave me a better understanding of the Di2 feature set. He was really helpful. The bike I wanted wasn't in stock and that specific variant has now been discontinued, so he gave me options on suitable alternatives as well as outlining the timeline for when each of these would be available. The team got me back on the trails in record time - and in the middle of the peak Christmas rush, just in time for my one month MTB holiday : ) The broken bike and supply-chain issues had the bike and component manufacturers contemplating a warranty claim or not for a bike just on 2 years old. I didn't have the time to wait for their decision, about to leave town with no bike. I went in with high expectations and had them not only met, but exceeded. Adam looked after me and was professional and shared a level of knowledge and experience in a easy to digest way. Being new to the cycle world it can be daunting walking into a new store, I wasn't spoken down to, or made feel like a amateur. It was quiet the opposite, numerous questions were asked and Adam ensured all information was not only clear and concise, but correctly fitted my needs. Cannot recommend not only this store, but a fit or chat with Adam highly enough.

The worst bike shop in the city made to look professional by stocking well known brands. Extremely bad service by some staff and the service they provide was so bad on my bike I had it done by another store a week later. They didn't listen to what I wanted doing and charged an incredible amount for a basic service which they label premium service. I complained to the manager and received a sarcastic and uneeded response. Just not worth going as you have so many other choices in the city!!! And even mobile mechanics that take no time!

I have only had positive experiences with Jet Cycles. David sold me my first road bike 8 years ago which was an amazing bike. Recently I was going to purchase another bike, and had paid about half of the amount. They held the bike for me for 3 months and at the end I couldn't afford it, so I asked to get my deposit back and Adam did not hesitate at all. Also shout out to Marc as he was very knowledgable and helpful when choosing the bike. Overall I would recommend Jet Cycles. They're service and range of bikes is sure to please you.

Great service from Adam when I popped in on my quest (and it has been a quest!) for the right saddle. Two other bike shops I went to prior were pretty useless, there was no mention of a 3 week trial and they did not have the special sit down doowhacky to measure your sit bones. All bike shops should have this surely? Anyway Adam recommended a great saddle which is a huge improvement and I also got some moulded insoles which have been superb so far. Getting my bike fit tweaked here next week as a result of this excellent experience.

Went in to get a simple flat fixed @ 9:35am on 11/11. One guy was helping someone else out. Totally fine. Other guy (with white hair) was too busy on the phone talking about his personal life. Bragging how he used to look after a pro rider and had his life 'in his hands'. Then swearing all over the place about his former employer and how he wouldn't work with someone. Walked out after 5 minutes of being ignored standing right in front of him. Went 50 metres down the road to Trek and was helped out right away.

So many of my friends are cyclists and it has been something I have been considering doing for some time. I wanted to get some advise as to what sort of bike would suit me. I called in to see the team at Jet Cycles who were recommended to me and I was glad I did. I was given a great run down by knowledgeable and enthusiastic staffer Shay. She explained a number of options and even offered for me to have a test ride. These guys live and breathe cycling. If you are going to visit one place, make it Jet Cycles.

Unfortunately I can't recommend Jet. They obviously have some knowledgable staff and quality gear, but they are expensive. I had to take my bike back 4 times and they still didn't repair the minor problem I had with the seatpost clamp. At times I got the impression they thought I was making it up. I did get a store credit as compensation so they were somewhat reasonable about the expense. You won't get a return call if you leave a message or send an email, you just have to keep calling until you get someone.

I highly recommend the team at Cycle Jet. They are very knowledgeable and friendly and always try to assist. What I really like about the team is they listen attentively and make sure questions are answered. David was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable with my bike. He helped me throughout the process. He is a very experienced gentleman. I then dealt with Andy who helped me with the fit out and made sure I was comfortable on the bike. Exceptional customer service. Well done!

Won't be returning, with so many other choices of bike stores including specialised stores available in Sydney, do your self a favour and choose another store. Recently visited the store to pick up some basics for my current bike. The store have a no return policy. Even wiggle and online traders allow you to return items that do not suit. I am now stuck with a store credit at a bike shop over an hour from my home. Buying anything of any great value from here should be done at your own risk.

Obviously a Bike Shop where the staff were extremely knowledgeable which is what I found. The follow up customer service though was extremely poor. I wanted to purchase a entry level bike, unfortunately none in stock so was told they would look to order one in and said to keep checking in on the progress. I followed up with 3 emails and a phone call and had no communication in return. Extremely disappointing. Maybe if I was after a more expensive bike they would have got back to me ‍♂️

I just bought a new Specialized Rockhopper from Jet Cycles last week and am absolutely amazed at the exceptional quality of this bike and the incredibly smooth ride it provides. Hi guys, After picking up my S-Works Tarmac last Friday I rode home (36km) when I left your store. I just wanted to write this email to say thanks. The bike (in a good way) felt like a new bike. Handled like a dream and was a joy to ride. Did a 200km/3300m ride Sunday up through the mountains, without issue. I’ve been training like a dog for 3 Peaks, aiming for somewhere between 9:00 and 9:30 hours. If I don’t do that time I now realise it’s me, not the bike.

Really knowledgeable and forthcoming staff. I own a Specialized bike and have been using their services regularly over the past 3 years for check-ups and support. Bookings are essential if you'd like to get something done by a specific time as they're really popular. The store can get really crowded on the weekends, so if you need some advice it's often better to come during the weekend when staff has enough time to answer all your questions.

If you ever considered buying a Specialized bike, this is definitely the place to go. Went down to try out a mtb, however due to Covid bike supply issues and no fault of the shop, I wasn't able to get the bike I wanted. Yet, David was friendly towards all my queries, chatted about bikes and even let me try out other bikes in the shop. He is truly a legend and if I ever think of getting a specialized bike, I know which bike shop I am going to.

The service has been excellent to date. I bought a new CAAD 10 from them after my old was damaged by a car. They set up the bike nicely and then set me up with a bike fit and new saddle. the new saddle alleviated some pain I had in relation to the old saddle. Overall was very happy with their customer services. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new bike, as I would go back again to them for any other purchases.

My favourite shop in Sydney - the team here are the absolute loveliest! Very knowledgable and professional whilst being super helpful and kind. A very big thanks to the Jet Cycle Team and especially David. I’d been searching for months to find a shop with a hardtail MTB in stock within my budget. After visiting Jet Cycles to tell them what I was after, within a couple of days David called me to say they had a NORCO Fluid HT 2 coming in. A week later I had my first NORCO just in time for my trip the Thredbo. Highly recommend Jet Cycles. Go visit them.

The team at jet cycle provide fantastic friendly service and really know their stuff. They are not a bargain shop, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. After a couple of years of problematic issues with my Cannondale e-mountain bike they fixed everything once and for all and it has seriously never ridden better. If you want it done right get service with a smile, I highly recommend.

Had 2 stumpjumper’s serviced here together, 1st bike no issues with service, 2nd bike, after service the derailer cable came undone before evening riding it (wasn’t tightened up) and then the left peddle came off on the first ride (again not tightened up). It pays to check everything even after a service. Lesson learned. Service undertaken on Friday 7/12/21.

Just got a new frame from the great people down at Jet Cycles. The help from Angus was second-to-none and made the process of purchasing a breeze. We also discussed potential build options and it was awesome to get insights from someone who competes at a high level on what components I should look for and why they will benefit my riding.

Very helpful staff. They suggested a bike to suit my needs, and then ensured I was happy with the set up, including leg measurements for seat height and a ride on rollers to make sure it suited me. I go back there for servicing, parts and accessories and they are always helpful. The specialized bike is excellent too, I use it every day.

Have been a customer here for some time. David’s recent help to arrange for a repair to my back wheel rim was very much appreciated. He went the extra mile to get the Specialized system moving quickly so I could be ready for my pending overseas trip. It really made all the difference…removing all my anxiety. Servicing was done to a high standard - bike rides well. This is not on the service list/no guarantee of success as they are incredibly complex but Sebastian attempted and succeeded in a repair of my broken Ultegra shifter, saving me a lot of money. Highly recommended.
