"Ive been trying to visit for months since I visit downtown, not nearby"
"I had a takeout, with half of the order wrong! Bad service"
"I really liked the concept I would recommend you only try the chocolate one if you are deeply into dark chocolate otherwise just avoid it on the other hand the passion fruit one was insane very good I will probably eat it again, will look forward to try different flavors"
"The cube croissant was the worst pastry I've ever had in my life"
"This place is mediocre at best"
Ive been trying to visit for months since I visit downtown, not nearby. I'm giving 2 stars for the lovely display and kind service. The square croissants were tasteless, and the texture was nothing like any croissant I've ever had. Seems more like brioche than croissant. Nothing flaky. So disappointing.
I had a takeout, with half of the order wrong! Bad service... Croissants... Horrible ... I read online that they had one of the best croissants in the city so I gave it a try... Ok, done... Never again.... Go to mille feuille bakery or boulud epicerie.. much much much better than these ... More

The cube croissant was the worst pastry I've ever had in my life. The dough tastes like a cardboard box. The filling is alright. But seriously that's not a croissant that's a cardboard box. Honestly should've asked for my money back, can't believe this thing.
This place is mediocre at best. However, they charge a premium price. Service leaves much to be desired, so do the actually pastries, unfortunately. This place was so hyped up on IG, which is why we planned to go there in advance, expecting
I heard about it in a social media post, the cube croissants looked so delicious. When I tried it it looked as advertised but in my opinion not worth the hype. Taste good but not worth the price, 10$ for a croissant is too much for my taste.
Exceptional in every way! The Blood Orange Croissant was a personal favorite, but the Pistachio Twist was also delicious. The pastries were only surpassed by the outstanding customer service, which blew us away. We came back here a few days
Stopped here because I heard of their unique cube croissants and it did not disappoint. I tried the chocolate and pistachio filled cubes and they were packed with filling inside! Honestly, maybe a little bit too much for my liking. It was
I know it's pretty silly to go to a French bakery for matcha but their matcha is pretty awful. its too milky and comes out a very light green color, I would suggest to use more matcha and less milk. the matcha they do use seems to be good
Did a long Saturday morning walk to find the famous square chocolate croissant. We got there at 10am hoping there wasnt still a queue down the street. Walked straight in and initially though there was no chocolate ones left but thankfully
We sampled the pistachio and blood orange square croissants. They were fantastic. The pistachio especially was very flavorful. I also ordered an Americano, which was expertly prepared and served nice and hot. We also had some delicious
Stepping into Julien Boulangerie, I was instantly enveloped by the alluring scent of fresh pastries, reminiscent of a Parisian café. The stand out was the almond croissant, a masterpiece of flaky Golden crust with a rich, sweet almond
I am R.E.A.L.L.Y hoping there are more Julien Boulangerie, or if I'm less demanding, just some boulangerie a bit less good as Julien, in my neighborhood. There's nothing like stepping into a bakery like every Parisian can do in their
The popular $10 croissant when asked to stay and eat was served in a brown bag, no plate or napkin was given and wasn't one bit fresh. Drip coffee was made on an unhygienic counter and served in a dirty cup and when
Pretty good coffee. Almond croissant was fairly good but not our favorite in NYC. Square chocolate croissant was just okay. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the custard like filling.. would be better with Nutella.
Good service and decent options for a bakery. Was super excited to try their cube croissants but unfortunately the lemon blueberry one was a disappointment. Their chocolate chip cookie is good though!
I’ve had several of the regular pastries and all of them have been great. I don’t know why I’d want my croissant baked into a cube, but the normal shaped ones are delightful and the staff is great.
Baked goods are always fresh and nasty. Customer service is on point. Café is clean. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Salads and sandwiches are freshly made everyday. …
Food was good. Told them we were eating there and they didn't heat the quiche. All the refrigerated drinks or warm and had no bathroom for their customers. Staff was personable.
Ordered a king’s cake and I was highly disappointed. The pastry felt like it wasn’t freshly made (frozen pastry?), and the filling had a very compact texture and no taste.
The square croissants are more of a bread filled with Nutella/jelly. Nothing extraordinary about them. They taste like bread …but it is square so it looks ok. I guess
I don’t think this is what a Canelé is supposed to look like inside :( had a few bites and had to throw it out. Their chocolate chip cookie was pretty good though.
I feel like for this price pastries should taste amazing - but that’s not the case. In fact, it’s very very far from being the case.
Pricey but so good- coffee and croissant were $15. They warmed up the almond hazelnut croissant. Coffee was decent as well. More
Oh my god. Pastries, baked goods, and some of the most delicious treats you can find. Highly highly recommend.
Everything is delicious and very presentable. It feels like I've been transformed to being back in Paris.
