"A great place for bird watchers, especially when the floodplain has filled up, which happens after a few days of decent rain"
"Had a scary experience in this here park"
"I found these wetlands a bit disappointing, it may have just been a bad day to visit but there was hardly any water anywhere, it's a nice location though with the shopping centre across the road and another beautiful park to explore across the road in spring bank waters, I'd definitely recommend Greenfields wetlands though"
"A beautiful wetlands with pathways around outside perimeter to walk or cycle or just to take in bird life, this area also has two geographical games within this area one being geocaching and other munzee, with local shops close by it maybe worth a look"
"This is a beautiful, peaceful park area suitable for long lovely walks in nature"
A great place for bird watchers, especially when the floodplain has filled up, which happens after a few days of decent rain. Also rabbits, snakes, flies - including March flies. There is a gravel path around the perimeter with some gentle climbs and a couple that are a bit more challenging. A path crosses the centre of the area roughly north-south with a side path that goes out west across to the floodplain - there are a couple of bridges that can be under water after a lot of rain. Easy to access, can be very peaceful during the week on a nice sunny day.
Had a scary experience in this here park. A few months ago I got lost for a good few hours. Scariest experience of my life! Even scarier than the time I went to the emergency room for heart problems. I was lucky to make it out alive that day, but I guess I got some good exercise. Overall, it was an okay experience but I can't say I'll go back anytime soon! N.K.

This is a beautiful, peaceful park area suitable for long lovely walks in nature. All sorts of flora and fauna, birds flying in and around the lakes, a place to just get away from the hustle and bustle. You can't get lost. No toilet
Nice decent stroll in what seems like bushland in the middle of the suburbs but when it's dry, it's DRY! When it is wet and the water is flowing, the area comes alive and many parts are quite pretty. No toilets. Ample parking.
Great trail running, mostly level ground with a few rises, all surrounded by natural flora. Locals are very friendly, happy to say hello, very occasionally get a rude trail bike rider but overall its a nice walk/run.
Great local park in the area to go to for walking or biking around. It's great that I don't have to travel miles away just to find a park like this, it's good to be with nature and breath in fresh air.
Take a wonder around these wetlands down a decent trails for dog walks with friends or family. Just keep aware of wildlife around, has loads of parking & overall enjoyable place to go.
You feel like you are out of the burbs when in fact you are in the middle of the suburbs, its a great place to walk and get away from things even for just an hour.
I have been going her for more than 20 yrs ....the peace ...the trees ...the secret walk ways ...i love it and love seeing how it changes over the seasons xx
Great place to do some hiking trails, explore park and see what can be found in the native w as wildlife. Prefect place to be by yourself or with love ones
Lovely place to go for walks… used to walk my dog there quite a lot… so many things to explore and is a great way to go for a longer nature walk
Nice little urban walk or MTB park. Sadly spoilt by rubbish dumping. Think the council need to act to upkeep and protect this little gem.
The walking track was great, gravel was nice and wide enough for acouple of greyhounds and their owners to walk side by side.
A relaxing park in the suburbs with local flora. No real facilities for visitors, but it has a good lookout platform.
Great place to walk your dog, take photos of the wonderful bird life or just relax and watch the water flow past.
