The Vet Jay was careless with our kitten who was having trouble eating and vomiting. We had a kitten who the breeder must have released too early; with the kitten not eating the food they provided. The kitten would only drink water and then began vomiting bile. I took it to this vet to get a better understanding of the issue. The Vet rehydrated my cat but also gave it de wormer before receiving a stool sample. He also gave it a few other medicines that were just too much for the kitten. He should have just rehydrated it and provide us with the food he sold us. My reason for suggesting this is because I showed other professionals the invoice of what was used on the kitten and they all were shocked that the vet would use these medicines at the kittens age. I.e the cat needed to eat, but he told me to use Metronidazole with the kitten after an hour and with its food. I had fed the kitten KMR and a bit of the vets food by having to force feed it. So again, the kitten needed to eat to survive but he gave me something which on google says “Pets taking metronidazole may eat less than usual or refuse meals altogether”. My wife and I are pretty sure that the vet visit actually made things worse and that the kitten probably had more chance of survival without all the medications. After the vet visit the cat projectile vomited and was also developing saliva. The vet also did not return my wifes phone calls. She called 3 times; two times they kept saying the vet was in a meeting, the third they didnt pick up. One of my main points here is to research and understand the medication the vet prescribes before using it. And find a vet that is more careful in considering the solutions. I dont understand why I was given something that will make my cat eat less and when I told the vet “my cat is dying” he said that it needs to eat in order for a chance of survival.. The conclusion is the Kitten passed away, we comforted it and so did our older cat.. Choose your vet carefully and don’t rush things. I should have refused the meds and opted for a second opinion.

I chose Dr. Jay Ranpariya to be the Veterinary Surgeon for my two dachshunds for the following reasons, 1- Dr. Ranpariya had demonstrated consistency in his caring, kindness and eagerness for providing acute and preventative care. 2- Dr and his team, I had met Ms. Nancy and the other staff ? Thabitha, had been very pet centered, friendly and courteous towards the pets and the pet parents 3- Obtaining an appointment had been very timely, specially in an emergent or urgent situation and I had been accommodated in such times. 4- The facility is very clean, had minimal to none wait times when an appointment time had been allotted. 5- Dr. Ranpariya had demonstrated up to date and in-depth knowledge on pet diseases and had very well managed my both pets conditions, both acute and preventative. Specially for my younger dachshund- Rose, who I obtained from a very pathetic situation from so called "breeders" where she was very badly infested with worms and numerous other health issues, which Thanks to Dr. Ranpariya had been resolved and she is at her best! 6- The staff had been very courteous, understanding and VERY PROMPT, at all times. 7- The office is tech savvy. The pet app is very user friendly, the pet parents are very much involved with their care, booking and changing appointments and reminders re: upcoming vaccinations, worm treatments and ect... 8- Dr. Ranpariya and his nurses had been very skilled in managing pets and obtaining diagnostic investigations and samples, specially Jugular Vein catheterization for obtaining blood sample recently for my elder dachshund in a very short period of time with having my pet at ease. 9- Dr. Ranpariya had been prompt in updating me with my pets results, specially when my younger dachshund was very ill. 10- I travel out of my way aprox 2 hrs (from my work, to get home, get pets and come back to town) to visit Dr. Ranpariya and his team due to their great service! I wish him great success as I can witness his and his teams passion for what they do. Cheers and keep up the great work!

I’ve taken all my pets to see Dr Bala He was very good for my other animals He saved my cats life Not sure what happened however I feel very sadden with the vet clinic now My dog was diagnosed with diabetes in April I was told from this new vet that my dog needed to be sent to emergency hospital which would run me thousands No way I could afford it so I decided to wait over the weekend to see Dr Bala Dr Bala basically did his best to help me with lindor He told me I could give Lindor insulin & try to keep him alive Well I did it for 4 monthsi bought insulin every 3 weeks from the office & bc the visits cost me to much I ordered all lindors testing kits on line & tested his blood on my own at home & saved hundreds doing so I am disgusted that since the last day I stopped getting insulin I never got a call once to touch base with lindors condition Or why I haven’t come for insulin Lindor passed away August 9th from diabetes & not once has that office called to ask why I haven’t come in for lindoRs insulin Its all about the money No compassion Good job I take my cat to Keto on the danforth now They’re great Sad that some vets care about the dollars more than the animals Very sad

Very upset with my most recent experience. I just called as my moms dog is dying and this is the last vet her dog went to. I was turned away by the front desk staff after she consulted with Dr. Jay. She’s suffering and likely needs to be euthanize today and I’m just so upset and shocked that they wouldn’t take us and that they didn’t redirect us to another clinic. Disappointed and completely heartbroken. Terrible response by the vet. I’m not sure what specifics you’re talking about but my moms dog suffered for 30 minutes more than she needed to because you couldn’t just see her. She was euthanized at another clinic which I will be writing a really nice review about. As you can see from my profile, I don’t usually write reviews but I had to in this case. It’s actually your job to care for the animals in your community as well as patients of yours. Also, train your staff to recommend the emergency clinics in your area if you can’t take a patient. I had to pull over on the side of the road while my dog was seizing to find an emergency clinic in the area.

Back in February we came here to say goodbye to our Corgi who developed epilepsy (at 9 months) and wasn't quite responding to medication. Dr. Ranpariya was understanding, compassionate and empathetic and gave us all the possibilities we could take. But unfortunately we picked the choice that was best for both dog and humans. It was one of the hardest decisions we had to make especially since he was only 13 months, but we didn't want our dog to suffer, especially seeing how often he was having seizures...and not really responding to medication...and hating having to force him to take 2 different medications, 3 times a day... Since we had had a great experience here, months later when we were ready to open our hearts to another dog (a doberman this time), we took him here too. Dr. Ranpariya and his staff were very welcoming and informative. We are happy to have them to help in the care of our beloved dog. My husband and I recommend this animal hospital!

I had never been to this vet previously, but they agreed to see me and my cat within half an hour of my phone call. Sadly, my cat was suffering from jaundice and had not eaten or defecated in more than a week. After an examination, the vet explained that while he could perform x-ays and further diagnostics, the prognosis was very dim. This unlike experiences that I have had elsewhere, where they wanted to perform as many tests as possible before pronouncing the animal terminal. This man took the time to answer all of my questions and explained that while there was a possibility that he could save my cat, she would never again have a good quality existence. In short, this is an honest compassionate vet who really cares about animals. He also won't perform needless procedures on your animal to maximize his bill. I will be happy to take any future pets that I may have to this clinic.

I have two kittens who were both having diarrhea frequently and needed to be vaccinated. There are four things I appreciate about this vet: 1) the prices are reasonable (so far as I know, for: vaccinations, physical examinations, testing stool samples); they are much much MUCH better than the rates of other vets 2) he handled my two cats very gently and was able to make my more diffcult kitten cooperate 3) he did not overprescribe care; he encouraged me to try different things (e.g. dietary changes) to alleviate the cats' diarrhea before giving my kittens medication 4) he educates you about vaccines, worms, and your cat's condition(s) I will be going back to him for my cats' annual vaccinations and any other complications they may have in the future. He seems to be a kind man and he gives discounts to rescues! Definitely recommended!

Three experiences that forced me to stop visiting this clinic 1. For treatment of stomach upset, Dr. Jay prescribed 5 day antibiotics, not waiting for the poo test result.The result later confirmed normal, implying the dose of antibiotic was unnecessary. Only the vet benefits, not the my puppy or me. 2. The tick,flea,worm prevention application prescribed by Dr.J Ranpariya does not cover all varieties of tick.However, we had repeadly expressed that our puppy be covered maximum against tick, since she had a tick attack. Today, we came to know from reputed pharmacist that the medicine covers just 1 tick variety. 3. The medicines are charged at excessive higher price.I discovered this recently and observed that the flea/worm/tick preventive medicine is available at 35% less cost across pet pharmacies in multiple locations and online.

Zero stars for this clinic. I brought my 10-week old puppy here a couple of weeks ago because he was choking, while I was screaming for help with tears running down my face. The receptionist told me that both vets on site refused to examine him, telling me to take him to the emergency hospital instead. I had to drive him all the way to the emergency hospital, which was further away. He passed away shortly after I got him to the hospital a short while later. I have two older dogs who I have been bringing to this clinic as it is fairly close to my residence, but I will never again bring any of my dogs to this place. They have failed my puppy, and I won't risk having them fail any of my other loved ones. Shame on the people there that call themselves professionals in the animal health field.

Highly recommend this Animal hospital! I loved my experience here with Dr. Jay and all the staff. Up until my dogs passing, every appointment was very professional and informative. My dog had 3 successful surgeries done by Dr. Jay, who was very thorough at explaining every diagnoses he made and answers any of my questions and concerns. Price for medications ans surgeries and other tests is very fair. Also is up to date on all technologies, we received blood work and X-ray results the same day, less than 30mins. Also very sympathetic to not only my dog but my family as well. We received a sympathy letter in the mail, which we really appreciated. I would come back to this Veterinarian if I ever do decide to have another Pet. Thank you to the team, your work is greatly appreciated!

Dr. Jay is a highly skilled vet. My mother uses him as the vet for her cats and when my cat got ill very suddenly she insisted that I go see Dr. Jay. I am glad she did because he got me in the next morning and provided treatment to my cat who is now recovering very well. Dr. Jay does not have an agenda to profit off of your pets illness, he will tell you what they need to get better and spend as long as you need to make you feel comfortable and answer all of your questions. Yes vet services are expensive but Dr. Jay is more than reasonable. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything Dr. Jay and we will for sure be back when it is time for our cats check ups.

I took my 7 month old puppy here when he was very sick, the Vet had no idea what was wrong with him and wanted to charge me thousands to run every diagnostic so that he can try and figure out what it is not even a guarantee of knowing and when I refused to pay this absurd amount for a "shot in the dark" he proceeded to recommend that I only wait 2-3 days to see if he gets better on his own or put him down..... 2-3 days then put my 7 month old puppy down cause I can;t afford to give him thousands for every test under the sun......... when I called around to other vets they all lost their minds at the idea of only giving the puppy 2-3 days to get better before putting him down..

I don’t recommend this place. All they do is take your money and they don’t care for the animals at all. I have my cat which was sick and I brought it there and they couldn’t figure out why my cat was sick but they kept on telling me and they kept assuming that “she was pregnant” first then they said she had lumps in her stomach . We did so much test and still couldn’t figure it out. We did all the x-rays, test, medicine & we spent over $600 and the end result was they still couldn’t help my cat. I’m going to bring ALL my animals to another doctor that actually cares for the pets and want to help them.

Dr. Jay is awesome. Got my first dog (pure bred Husky) who had zero shots or visits in his life before I rescued him at the age of 10. Been coming back the last two years and will be coming for his life. He’s gentle with the dogs, and has confidence and good body language when handling them, it helps big time as my dog is obviously more unpredictable with no training before I got him. Thorough examination & honest answers. Thanks for taking care of my Zeus guys! Also the front desk lady is great very friendly, and she really loves animals which is a big bonus.

Gentle and Fantastic Staff. Jay is a wonderful vet. Even though I’m not close by it’s worth the trip. My dog is afraid of every one and dog but feels right at home here. They are very professional. I don’t have to wait. The Covid safety measures keeps me very comfortable. The cleaning process and no interceptions of people during the appointments are great. I took my husky in for her pawn's bacteria infection. The staffs and the doctor are nice and professional. Most importantly, they treated her with all their heart and true care. The prices are not the lowest but I would say it's reasonable. I ve learned my lesson as there are too many sneaky vets with hidden charge, so I usually asked the price upfront. And the staffs and the doctor answered all of my questions with patience and explained every procedures. I will definitely go back to this vet for her spay or anything.

Friend went here after her dog had stomach pains and was vomitting, the Vet didn't even fully examine the dog and automatically assumed the dog was better off to be put down. Trash. All they wanted was her to pay 600 dollars to burn her dog. Terrible place. She went down to another Vet right after and her dog ate something that disturbed her stomach, Vet gave her something and now the dog is on the road to recovery, not dying in the furnace like these monsters at this clinic.

We brought our cat here for follow up check up and all the staffs are very friendly and accomodating. Everytime I call to place an order for a specific cat food for my boy they process it as soon as possible and give me a call whenever the order is ready to pick up. I also let them take care of my cat for neuter and they explained to me very well everything that I need to know before and after the procedure. I recommend this clinic for every furbabies around the area ☺️

Dr. Jay is an exemplary vet I'm usually adverse to vets due to previous experiences... but when I felt an engorged tick on my babyboo, I reached out and spoke with the lovely receptionist who managed to squeeze me in. From bedside manner to educating me on ticks and preventive measures; Dr Jay is an absolute joy to work with. The wonderful receptionists are all so caring and you can really feel the love. One thing I can say about this place the facility is very clean and quiet. I paid $126 for my kittens first shots only to be told he needs them every 3 weeks when I paid $161 for my other kittens shots plus an extra $90 for her recent last ones I should of just brought my new kitten to the other vet . Second thing $90 for you to check a kitten’s stool that’s insane . Thank you for accommodating us but I won’t be returning .

We went to get a check up for our limping cat, knew we were going to need x-rays. It cost $62 for 30 minutes of their time for the vet to tell us it’s probably a fracture. Then told us it was going to cost $600 JUST for the xray - not even treatment. And no payment plans - you pay 50% the day of and the other 50% when you pick up your animal the next day. No prices listed on the website. Totally unreasonable

Dr. Jay is very passionate about our pets and understands the needs of them as well as their parents’. He recommends medicine and or supplements only if when necessary. Dr. Jay took good care of my boy, 3 month Malitpoo. Premises are clean as well with all up-to-date equipments needed to take care of your pets. I’ll definitely recommend Kennedy Eglinton Animal Hospital for my fur friends.

Both of my pets went to this location multiple times. There are three veterinarians and all of them are friendly with pets. They will make sure your pet is examined and taken care of. Any concerns about your pet will be heard and addressed. One of the vets kept checking up on my pet via phone calls to make sure everything was alright.

I'm so thankful for finding this place. They truly put pets and their owners first and take great care in the accuracy and efficiency of service. I only have exotic pets so unfortunately this local clinic isn't my usual go to vet. However when one of my pets suddenly passed, they were happy to assist in taking her in and having her cremated for me. The front desk lady is absolutely incredible and was so empathetic and compassionate with me!

I took my dog here and I felt like he just wanted to charge me for everything and as I was told cutting nails were complimentary he charged me for that andni asked why the receptionist said he in the room with another patient and that they will get back to me and never did. Not professional at all

The best Vets ever. Dr Bala and Dr Cowen no longer there. But the new couple are great. Will not take my pets anywhere. Do not go to Lawrence and Bellamy they work with the hospital and almost kilked me pets twice. No worries bout that here Vet Surgeons no middle man. Love them.

Dr Bala has cared for my dog for 12 years although we have moved an hour and a half away we still go there . He is very friendly and you can call him anytime with a question he'll always talk to you. His staff are very friendly also.
