This review is for the Covid testing facility section only. Came here today and had a disgraceful service given to me. I came in politely asking about doing a walk-in Covid test as I hadn’t done one since last Summer I preferred to do it under supervision (so in-clinic) to ensure I did it properly - which should be fine, as it’s a service the Town Hall is offering. The staff were very reluctant to help me, even though I didn’t complain and asked nicely but instead of showing me where I go they just instead multiple times tried to deter me from doing one in the hall and tried sending me away before then “directing” me to round the corner lane 9. This part I’m not so concerned about as it makes sense they wouldn’t want to walk someone who potentially could be walking in ill (although I’m not). But for me the main point of complaint is the way they spoke to me. It was speaking very fast and short in a “hurry up” sort of way like the important questions I asked were ridiculous to ask or something (such as if it registers to the NHS app - which is a relevant question) - hard to explain but the underlying tone and way of speech was just plain out rude - and the staff should learn some better manners/ etiquette when working with the public. Speaking in a overly fast manner & rude tone just suggests to members that we are a burden to you despite asking just a couple relevant questions when I assume you’ve been hired for “customer service” and therefore should be helping us. To make it clear it was two men I spoke to, not the lady that worked there.
The parking service team are useless. The council has put so many traffic officers just to get as much money as possible. I am a fair person but this is getting out of control. I am a tradesman and I am doing nothing else that I have done pre-quarantine. Parking in the same space, getting the same materials, but with this virus, the sales team are taking longer to scan the products and to process payment. In this time, there are always 2 or 3 traffic officers hiding in order to get you. It happen to me 8 times in 6 weeks. As I said, I am a fair person and I know when I’m wrong, but there are dedicated loading spaces and you still get a ticket. Then, when you challenge it (and it takes a lot of time to challenge a blody pcn) they will send you a refusal. Then if you want to go ahead to court, or to an adjucator there are no available dates and you’ll back to square 1. So if you get a ticket, even though you are loading/unloading you’ll have to pay it. I have at least 6 parking tickets with solid evidences and I had to pay them all. I am telling you this is getting out of control!! The traffic officers are not essential workers, and they can spread the virus easily through the pcn. But hey ho, money are more important for RBKC council! Really dissapointed.
I was very lucky to be served every times I called the school admissions from a gentilment called Andrew Blake. He is perfect for his rule as he is super caring and supportive towards the parents that are going through a stressful time during the school application for reception children and on this case this year I was served by Andrew and I could not have been more happier for the level of support I have recived from him. Was like talking to a member of family . He understands exactly how much each parents want the best for their children and he made everything possible for parents and my self to reassure us that the best option when applying for a school is to choose 6 schools options reasonably good for us instead of just choosing one that maybe was diffito get hin. For the best of your child my advice guve also from Andrew is when applying to choose 6 school and defenatly one of them might be the one that wil be offered. Instead of choosing one and ending up being upset because there was no space available and having g your child sended to a school you might don't know or like. Because is possible. Andrew ois good at his job and I will always thank him for the good support. thanks again
I think I can easily say its the worst Council in London, minus -20 Stars. Ask 5 of there member of staff the same question and you will get 5 different answers. The funny thing is 4 out of 5 will be totally wrong. They lie to you without shame. If you have a housing problem or a Homelessness issue than you have lost already. Most useless people working in this field in this council. They wont help or don't know how to do there job and will give you wrong information over and over again. The councils head of Housing contacted me after me filling a complain and told me that I will get help. Here 8 month after and nothing. Will file another complaint vs RBKC. Worst people to deal with in my opinion.
Freemason run at top level , many staff members are freemason Freemasons in environmental health in pembroke site People are mislead when it comes to the truth about our fremasons They are all in positions of power in the council... Thats why they are getting away with the murder at Grenfell tower also Dispicable victamizing animals work here Housing department is run by cold lying deceitful staff that were picked from the suburbs to socially cleanse Kensington and Chelsea through their ignorance.. They should all be in prison people
Hi Andy Service Here, Just to say that I worked for RBKC as a logistic worker and it was good working with Kevin, Jake, Hammed,& the team & I would recommend anyone who wants to work with them to do so because they are a 100% good work force to work with at all times. My best regards Andy Service
Usually very good but the outside council phone was not working to make contact regarding dumping / skips and stuff outside under my flat....Winchester Court W84AB photos available especially cars and vans parking on the pavement- a concern with health and safety.
The Town Hall virtually empty but staff on duty very helpful. The place is nice and clean and spacious. Sanitizers available. I went there especially to sign Queen Elizabeth II RBK&C Book of Condolences.
Great place for events and fairs. I went today to the Parallax Art Fair and the space allowed several stands and many attendants. It was spacious and comfortable. Hope to attend more events there soon
Bit daunting trying to sort something out for someone but no face to face to chat with only on phone chat. But the staff were very friendly and helpful to my inquiry.
Fantastic place to work, I feel well looked after and valued, makes me proud to work for the Bi Borough, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council …
Lovely, spacious atmosphere. Their community COVID test centre has an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere, made possible by its affable and kind employees!
Nice and functional public space with very friendly staff. Just follow the clear signs to go where you need to. Reception desk is very helpful!
Friendly and quick service. We went to get a COVID test and there was zero wait. You stick the swab up your throat and nose yourself.
Wonderful local authority office with beautiful paintings and has even it's own underground parking. Marvelous job …
Well looked after, clean venue. Security staff very friendly and helpful. A definite pleasurable visit. Recommended.
It was awesome! it made my hard work, for ta Jack Petchey award, pay off. I would definitely recommend it to people.
My National Freedom Pass has been stolen in the name of Gail Anne Hamilton with all my cards everything 2 inhalers.
Big thanks to Aaran and Kensington and Chelsea councils, Housing and Employment team for their advice and support
Good service, great navigational signage and ample underground parking, which for Central London is a treat.
Went to Parallax Art Fair. What a great variety of beautiful art. Congratulations to the organising team
Good venue regularly have our teddy bear fairs there twice a year. 200 years of childhood 11th December
Absolutely terrible. Staff blatantly lie to your face and requests get sent around in circles.
Went for the community covid test and it was super efficient and organised. Thank you.
