Terrible experience having a custom ring designed here. The stone that was set in the ring was not the stone I chose in person, it was ultimately a smaller weight with greater occlusion than the stone I paid for. They claimed it was a mistake but it breaks my heart to this day many years later. I found that Dylan and Natasha were not really listening to me the whole time, and the finished product look absolutely nothing like the sketches they provided during the design process. I’m not sure how they’ve maintained a high rating but I figured I should add my experience. EDIT: they responded to my review, they admit there was a “miscommunication” about the exact stone. This really hides the extent of the problem. It wasn’t a miscommunication about the weight of the a particular stone, it’s that we ended up receiving an entirely different stone that the one I choose. The stone we chose had no occlusion, the stone we received had a large occlusion. We have a lot of documentation on this matter. They point out the fact that I have left one star reviews at Dairy Queen and subways as if it vilifies them somehow. It does not. Me being unsatisfied with ice cream in the past does not diminish the fact that we received a different stone. They also imply that we never raised these concerns to them, which is untrue. I raised these concerns with them which were ultimately never resolved. If you give people the product you promise, you can avoid these reviews entirely.

I have been a regular customer for many years now. I have bought many items from Natasha & Dyl. They curate a wonderful shop and always have amazing pieces carefully chosen. They are extremely knowledgeable and listen very well to lead the customer to the perfect pieces. I am extremely picky and this is my only go to jewelry shop in Vancouver. The only other place I have ever seen 1 piece as beautiful and uniquely my style was 30 years ago in Sante Fe, New Mexico and made by a local artisan. They also design exquisite pieces. They have repaired bracelets, made unique beaded bracelets, adapted pieces, cleaned my jewelry and just made me feel part of the family. They are fair, lovely and sell the best product. I highly recommend anyone interested in beautiful jewelry with incredible service to make Turquoise Kingdom a must visit. I have shopped for many friends, my mother is a regular customer as well and the unique and gorgeous pieces she has are all stunning. Yes, they have made her feel part of the family as well. They've remembered our names since our original visits in East Vancouver all those years ago. Really a cut above!!! I've included maybe 1/2 of my collection from them.

Really condescending. I cannot believe how rude the owner was to me because I had a budget. Edit in response: I called and said my budget was around 600, I made an appointment to come in based on that. The first thing I was told was that the minimum they could do is 2500. After I tried to explain my budget and was told to stop cutting you off, when really we were both excitedly speaking overtop each other in my opinion and there was no need to be rude. I was never told about rings around 300 or anything else. I was told by another employee a ring could be done for 800 minimum. I was then told that the ring I had liked was cheaply made in china after which point I left. I called to say if you have nothing in my price range just tell me so I don’t come in, no problem, that is your job as a sales clerk as well as treating customers with respect. Maybe you were racist to a woman of color walking in with a low budget, I don’t know. But there was no reason to speak down to me that way after I mentioned my budget. I’m shocked that your response is passive aggressive and defensive rather than an actually apology for treating a customer the way you did.

The best place to get your jewelry. I first stumbled upon Kingdom Jewelry about 5 years ago. Finding masculine jewelry was almost impossible in Vancouver until I found them. I've boughten so many amazing pieces from them - rings, necklaces, bracelets. Dylan is so great to talk style and design with. He's always helped me to perfect my vibe. When I was ready to pop the question to my girlfriend, Natasha was my first stop. I wanted to make a custom engagement ring, and not only was Kingdom the best price I got quoted, they were also the easiest to work with. Natasha did such a great job of helping guide me through the process and being transparent about all the design considerations, costs, etc. I never could have imagined such a beautiful ring without her help. When we were ready for our wedding bands, Natasha had gotten to know us so well that she was able to recommend the perfect bands. We really felt special and well taken care of. If you're in the market for jewelry, this should be your first stop.

Turquoise Kingdom is a shop within a shop at Mintage. They specialise in a combination of vintage and handcrafted real silver jewellery and, well... turquoise jewellery and accessories. It occupies a small corner to the left of the Mintage entrance but carries a more than generous stock of unique pieces. I'm not big on jewellery, but if I were to pick up some I would definitely consider Turquoise Kingdom. What caught my attention, however, is their limited selection of beautiful one-of-a-kind, delicate natural indigo-dyed scarves and shawls—pricey stuff. Some of the vintage pieces are from Africa while others, I was told, come from an Indonesian woman hand crafting small-batch fabrics and designs. Limited quantities and dead stock. What more can a connoisseur ask for? Absolutely beautiful and sentimental because there is history in each piece, not "from factory to sales floor."

Natasha helped my boyfriend and me at the counter on a random evening when we decided to check out some engagement rings in person for the first time. She was patient and informative without being intrusive, as some other salespeople have come off as. Since then, we have gone to several other jewelry stores but none have even close to matched Natasha’s down to earth attitude and passion for her rings. We could tell she personally loves each and every one of their pieces for their individual characteristics. She encouraged us to try on as many rings as we’d like, even if we knew they might not be within budget, just for fun. We weren’t pressured whatsoever to leave that night with a final purchase. We just had a great experience learning about engagement rings in general and the pieces kingdom has to offer. We will definitely be back again!

This little shop is a treasure trove for all types of jewellery, and not just rings. Natasha and Dylan have made this into one of the most pleasurable places to shop for jewellery. I have found over the years that it is extremely difficult to find mens jewellery, especially rings. This is by far the most outstanding collection I have ever seen. And great variety, not only Turquoise but many other types of stones as well. And they have even started to make their own creations. Unique and outstanding! Not the brand names you will find in the department stores, which is very refreshing. Amazing folks to deal with as well, and you might find Tony or Natalie there when Dylan and Natasha are away, and you will get the same friendly and helpful service. This place is a must visit! I have shopped at TK for the past three years and have always been greeted, weather by Natasha and Dylan or by their employees, with the warmth of a family friend. 5min pop by’s always turn into 40min chats! Their turquoise and silver pieces are enviable and I can’t seem to enter their store without leaving with something new (to me). Their knowledge on vintage is remarkable, I am always learning! And I am super excited to see their expansion into other gems and new designs (and hats). Having recently lived here from Los Angeles i was jonesing for a great jewelry store with great gems and stones. At my local watch shop i saw an employee with an amazing turquoise bracelet/cuff- he told me he got it at kingdom so i hightailed it over there. First the vibe there is great- amazing energy and employees- felt very comfortable. A huge selection in a range of prices. I purchased a few rings that were very unique. The owners- Dylan and Natasha immediately felt like friends i had known for a long time. They are very chill, patient, smart, creative and kind. I have since ordered a few custom pieces and will continue being a customer and telling all my friends about their awesome store.

It all started innocently enough, a barber friend recommended I visit their shop. I’ve always had a passion for jewelry but their curated collection of stone, gold, silver and MX-inspired accessories really spoke to me. Dylan and Natasha are both highly knowledgeable and personable, great to consult with custom work and generous in their expertise over the years. Easily the best turquoise and southwest jewelry store in the PNW. The proprietors are absolutely lovely people and will fit you out with impeccable style. They carry a range of opal and precious stones in addition to the turquoise. They also do custom jewelry and specimen crystals. I've been back multiple times now, and have had a couple custom pieces made. They are carrying wedding and engagement pieces as well as WAY more precious stone options than before. This expansion is a welcome expansion of the main lines of jewelry.

The jewelry at TQ is top notch! not to mention the staff are incredibly knowledgable, and there is often a cute puppy hanging around the store. I like to go in an browse as often as possible, and very rarely leave empty handed.

Turquoise Kingdom is my favourite jewellery store in Vancouver; especially since moving to their store front. I shop here for myself and for the film industry. They even repaired one of my necklaces. Can’t wait to visit again!
