"Consultation was done in the car park! When they did take our beloved dog into the clinic, there was not enough rooms therefore we could not go in"
Got here last week with a last minute appointment to check an infected lump on our dog’s belly. (He had already been checked at another clinic that gave us some antibiotics and no feeling we should visit it again...) We were really impressed by the service we received at Kingston Animal Hospital! After having a look at him, the vet recommended to leave our dog in their care, as he needed surgery to remove the source of the infection. Two hours later, the lovely girl at the reception called us to let us know that surgery was done and we could go back to get our fur baby! Dr Tim did a great job! After two days our Mimmo was like new: happy, loud and hyper! And the wound is healing beautifully, to the point we can barely spot it. Thanks to the staff for your professionalism and kindness!
Wouldn’t take my fish anywhere else. He was swimming around in his tank very unhappy, I didn’t know why and no one could figure it out. Left him with the staff for while now he is extremely happy, his tank can be a little slimy sometimes but small price to pay to have my fish back to normal. Woud highly recommend for fishes etc, I’m sure they can help dogs, cats, birds, cows and horses juts as easily. Wonderful ability to understand what animals really want
Our dogs have been seeing Kingston Animal Hospital vets for many years. My first Labrador was well cared for over 12 years and since then we taken 4 more Labradors and recently our Boxer puppy here. Through surgeries, allergic reactions, neutering and spaying everything has been succesful and always undertaken with care and compassion. We are very happy to have Kingston Animal Hospital as our local vets and would be lost without them.
We have had the services of KAH over a few years for cats, dogs, and cows emergencies - always professional, and staff are great at communication over the phone when someonelse has taken the animal in when I was not available. (Except for the cows …. Vet came to us and phoned me to explain problem and options. one cow had an emergency paddock Caesarian, and one had stomach issues, excellent treatment, aftercare care, advice
Consultation was done in the car park! When they did take our beloved dog into the clinic, there was not enough rooms therefore we could not go in. We were told bad of results in the car park with little compassion. If you are seeking a professional.and friendly service, I do not recommend this vet. We are now going elsewhere so our dog can have better care
This Vet hospital was marvellous in the treatment of our dog. They even took in a 'pinky' which I found when it crawled out of its mothers pouch after she had been hit and killed by a car. They passed the 'pinky' on to the wildlife rangers and were good enough to ring me to let me know that it would survive. I can't speak highly enough of the service.
My partner went in just to ask if our dog's nose was hurt due to nutrition issues common to her breed. She said "no that looks really serious you need a biopsy" cost $1000. Wanted to anesthetize her to take the stitches out. (Probably another $250) took a whole month to get the results and just for some dermatologist to say she needs Zinc.
I have been taking my animals to Kingston Animal hospital for the past twelve years and know just how gentle and caring they are. My animals have never had a bad experience with them despite numerous procedures, so are never stressed returning to them. Even my most nervy dog was happy with them. I can't praise them enough.
Just a phone call - but was quite quickly told to contact someone else. Perhaps they are just too busy? Maybe helping small pets is more profitable or easier than caring for large animals - but if so, don't advertise that you service large animals if you are not willing to help.
Disappointing. One of the reception staff has been consistently rude and service provided by the surgeon/vet left a great deal to be desired. Having spent over $6000 at this practise I would definitely not be taking another pet for treatment at this facility.
Our dog was injured badly and I went in very upset and stressed. I was not allowed to go into the consulting room, and my stressed and injured dog went in alone. When vet came out, she said that she needed to put him on fluids and do x-ray
Was expecting a bankrupting bill for our Saturday morning grass seed problem but turned out to be more than reasonable. Light anaesthetic, dressing and antibiotics for under $300 In and out in hour
After the great escape of the indoor cat AKA Beryl from Kingston these guys did their normal great work checking her out. She actually loves going here so maybe that was the plan all along.
Went down to kingston animal hospital this afternoon to explain about my sick cat, the receptionist was very rude and couldn't care less , I will never take my pets there again
In the whole time, I've had my beautiful dog Sam, for thirteen and a half years, Iv'e never come across a most caring and thoughtful team. They're so wonderful with him.
The staff are absolutely brilliant. The vets care for your pet as if it was their own. Have never had a bad experience there. Would give 10☆'s if I was able to
I have a very nervous ageing Chihuahua who always is stressed going to the vet. The staff are wonderful and very patient and accomodating to my boy's needs.
They've provided top-notch care for my elderly cat for a number of years now. Great staff, friendly, professional and care about about their patients.
All round amazing, you couldn't find more beautiful people to look after your fur babies. Highly recommended for all your furry friend needs.
Just a quick and simple procedure in the back of the car for our greyhound who shudders 5ks from the vet - anxiety free . Tasha is so good,
Rude receptionist and turned away with a puppy who had a broken leg. Luckily other clinics were able to help despite being overbooked.
Little pooch picked up kennel cough. The young team were brilliant. 2 weeks after succesful treatment he is bouncing about again.
They have a twist here, in that specially trained animals treat humans. They're so highly trained that sometimes people don't die
I have been taking my animals to Chris and the team at Kingston Animal Hospital for about twenty two years. The team is amazing!
