Poor communication and customer service. We took a duvet in, got a quote and timeline. Timeline wasn’t met. They didn’t bother to contact us and say ‘actually it’s not £30 it’s now £50’ and were incredibly rude to my partner. I’m sure this will be contested for context. The dog threw up on our duvet. It’s one of those all year duvets that pops 2 together a 9.5 and 4.5 tog. None of this was hidden. They quoted and told us it would be back hopefully by Saturday if not Monday for £30. Which was better than messing around at the launderette. If theyd said 50 we probably wouldn’t have used them We didn’t hear anything. Then on Monday when we called. First of all they weren’t sure when or if it would arrive until later that week. Then it arrived and they called making a point of saying ‘your 2 duvets are here’ the second time they said it my partner asked and they said it’s 2 duvets and £50. Then said they hadn’t checked it properly as they were worried about covid from the sick (dog sick) and said we’d just dumped a sick covered duvet. Again the cover was removed liquid had seeped through the duvet. It was explained. Regardless it was their job to estimate the cost and tell us if that changed. They sent it off to a 3rd party to be cleaned and I assume they charged them more than they expected and rather than speak to us about it they were just rude. When I collected the duvet again they said ‘your 2 duvets are here’ I didn’t bother getting into a debate with them as they’d already upset my partner and I didn’t see any point debating with them or having an argument.

My partner took an expensive piece of designer clothing here to be hand washed for the first time. The lady who greeted her was unwelcoming and rude. On collection of the garment a few days later the same lady, who was again rude and unwelcoming had the garments ready to go in a bag, handed them over, took are money and sent my partner on her way. At the door of the shop my partner decided to check the garment to find it was covered in grey splatter, from what I do not know. The woman couldn’t explain what this was but said they would rectify the situation “free of charge” ! The cheek of it ! … on collection of the garment the next day the grey splatter was removed however there was now a new stain in the centre of the t shirt. When I myself pointed this out I was told that it wasn’t their fault, they did not do it, I must have done it ! This definitely isn’t the case ! I was offered no compensation, no apology and not even a refund and have now been left with a £500 t shirt that has a stain in the middle… ruined ! I would never recommended them to anyone and needless to say I shall not be revisiting this place !

I needed a quick turnaround of laundry and table linens and these ladies were awesome. They were really honest with what they could do and the times lines and I felt like they really cared about the service they gave !!! This was a one off but I would definitely use them in the future!!! Great work and lovely service

Absolutely lovely staff who are great to chat to and definitely put you at ease when you hand over your reasonably expensive camping items for cleaning. Could not have been made to feel more welcome, and the items were ready when they said they would be plus smelled and felt wonderfully clean again now. Thank you!

We were forced to look for a laundry service when a problem with our water pipes took out our washing machine for a week. First class service at reasonable rates. Excellent customer service and communication. Pick up and return at a minimal price too. Would happily use again.

Unacceptable. I rang a few minutes ago to double check if they are open, a lady on the phone said yes. I arrived and have been waiting outside holding a huge Duvet and door is locked even though there is a sign outside that says OPEN. They are a joke. Avoid

Wonderful experience laundry collected a screwed up mess and delivered back beautifully packed and ironed This was a one off treat to myself due to hospitalisation and it was so wonderful I would recommend this to anyone feeling overwhelmed by life!

It's 9:11am..but no one is there..no one picks up the phone..clients coming and everyone is wondering where are they?? Is anyone working today? I have to go to work so cannot waste anymore time on these unprofessional people. Unacceptable!

We have been using Ladies That Launder for more than 3 years now. Can’t praise them enough. Always friendly, always helpful and quick. Ironing quality is excellent. Plenty of free parking around. I would undoubtedly recommend them.

These guys wash our rugby kit after every game and are amazing!!! It always comes back so clean and smells amazing - which given how it goes in is nothing short of a miracle!!!

Friendly ladies and good service. I use this to get my under wear washed during longer stays in Portishead as the hotels dont have laundry room.

Take a duvet in, get a clean one back. Can't speak for the ironing side of things as I've never used it but it's always seemed to be we'll run.
