Hoy vine a comprar algo ligero para comer. Segunda vez que vengo aca. Lo único que tenían eran unos pastelitos de carne. Le pregunté una una señora con un lunar sobre la boca si eran dulces o de carne. Ella me aclaró que eran de carne. Muy bien pedí 3. Mientras sacaba los pastelitos resulta que solo los sirven así sin repollo ni nada. Le pedí a la mujer del lunar que quería los pastelitos (o empanada) menos quemados o doraditos ya que habían unos más obscuros que otros. No sé cómo lo haya tomado esta mujer porque rapidito se me puso defensiva y alterada. No era para tanto y yo andaba tranquilo pero si me motivó para hacer este comentario en Google porque sería mejor que no pongan a esta mujer a tratar con clientes. Me imagino que ha de ser esposa o familia del dueño porque si trabajara así con esa actitud en en HEB ya la hubieran mandado a casa para siempre. Mejor contratar a alguien que sea amable y profesional que una amargada que trabaje de gratis por ser familia. Mejor déjen èsa en casa que lo hace nada bueno allí.

I love this location though its not near me. Once in a great while I am able to stop by it. They carry the Yerba Mate that I love and several items I have known from my visits to South America in my younger years. I wish there were more South/Central American shops here. Wish the variety, selections and the store in general was larger but Im sure its tough enough to compete in a high TexMex society. Plus im sure what is shipped here through them is costly too. I wish more people knew of the unique stuff sold here. I feel there are many who have no idea that this place exists. Every so often I try to introduce friends or colleges to items from South America and when I get a chance to tell them about this location I do.

Excelentes productos, los dueños excelentes en atender y en amabilidad desafortunadamente tienen empleadas que con su mala atención y su mala actitud espantan y dan mala impresión a los clientes, siempre me gusta comprar en esta tienda todos los productos Colombianos que encuentro pero hoy solo quería salir corriendo me espantó la empleada que nos atendió, pense que estaba enferma o pasa por una mala situación pero no por esto voy a dejar de dar la mejor calificación a esta tienda y a sus propietarios a pesar de que me haya ido con mis manos vacías porque realmente mis deseos de comprar se fueron al piso muchas Gracias

I honestly thought customer service was the thing of the past. Las Americas Market has THE best customer service I have seen in a long while (we’re talking Brady Bunch, while). I emailed them to see if they had a particular spice, thinking they’re never going to contact me; at least not in the near future. Not only did they return the email.... the timeframe was mere minutes and they even gave me a link to the exact type of product they had in stock! amazing, right? Seriously, the employees were helpful, friendly, and just an overall top notch business. Thank you guys again for great customer satisfaction!

Totally ridiculous customer service. Do not buy their overpriced dry food. I have recently bought a bread (panettone) brand D'onofrio-that is my favorite, and they would not exchange it for me claiming the expiration date was still good. So what! the bread was dry, obviously from whereever it got shipped from, I wasn't trying to get my money back, I just want it another one. I have friends that told me they have purchased the same product and same thing happened to them. They don't have fresh stuff. Consumers be ware, these store needs to be inspected.

This lace was recommended by a local business near me that happens to be run by people from Cuba. I went there to take my Cuban friend and he found many things that are often shipped into Cuban grocery stores (nothing from Cuba of course because of the ban) and also spoke to one of the staff who was also from Cuba so it was a nice experience. Lots of little goodies for people from many Latin American countries and the staff is very friendly so I'd recommend it for anyone looking for things you can't find in a Michoacana or an HEB.

No le puedo poner 0 estrellas si no si se las ponía, mandamos por paquetería muchas cosas para México y se robaron casi todo!! Solo inventaron pretextos, no se hicieron responsables de nada! Y eso que según le compramos el seguro al paquete y nada! Se lavaron las manos, yo ni les había dicho que y que faltó y la mujer ya estaba hablando y me le quedé viendo y le dije como sabes que faltó si no te he dicho y según tu ustedes no abrieron la caja, quedaron de hablarme y nunca recibí una llamada de ellos, estafadores!

Me gustó bastante este supermecado. No es grande & no hay mucho estacionamiento tampoco. Pero, la variedad es bastante buena. Los precios un poco más de lo que imaginé. Lo bueno es que los empleados fueron muy amables todo el tiempo con todos los clientes que estábamos en el supermercado. Hasta cuando tenían que contestar el teléfono. Al ellos hablar, fueron muy atentos también. Espero volver con el favor d Dios!!!

A South American jewel in San Antonio!I used to drive Austin, Houston to get food from home, until now that I found this place!! Colombian, Venezuelan, Puerto Rican, Peruvian, Dominican, Panamanian, and so much more! They have unique things from home, I have a great time traveling in space to my childhood on the store.The store was organized, the employees were friendly and approachable.

First time visitor. Thanks found all the Latin food I can’t find where I live. Everything was organized and clean. The store did not smell. I wish we had this store where I live because it had everything I wanted from my country of origin. I found a lot of candies I used to eat when I was a little girl. I went crazy shopping here!!!

This place is amazing whether you just want a snack for your midnight snack or something to cook a meal everything is fresh and clean! I've never had any problems there and I will always keep going! (I am Hispanic I just prefer to type in English)

Great little market that hads goods from through out Latin America and Spain, they also can also ship items from here to most countries in Latin America as well as send money. Some times you can find some great tasting empanadas.
