Super amazing customer service by the whole team, but especially Steph (Stef?). She has welcomed to the store from the first day with a smile and a super helpful attitude. I have never felt out of place even asking the most basic questions on DIY, and she has helped me for the past year with empathy and professionalism. 5 stars for her!

Used to be much more friendly. Suddenly the atmosphere has changed where customers are openly slagged off in Polish because they think you dont understand. Apart from that its a well stocked shop that I just buy stuff and leave. No more banter that the regulars always had though.

A good selection of good quality hardware and has knowledgable staff even though they have been expanding with new staff over the last few years, I have used the Shaftesbury branch for over 10 years and found it's the best place in central London for the DIYer or tradesperson.

This is the best hardware store in the Covent Garden/Holborn area - large range in a good sized shop, staff always helpful. More specialist shops have a deeper range in niche areas, but for broad coverage of paint, pipe, timber, hardware etc Leyland is hard to beat.

Arrived at this shop around 7pm (closing was 7:30pm) and there were 2 staff - one male and one female. Overheard them planning to close the door at 7:10 so not motivated to begin with. I was looking for a tap aerator and neither knew what

extremely unhelpful, rude and impolite staff. The manager is worse than his staff. They ignore you when you call for help and when they turn up they just say :i don t know;" or even give you attitude and show their bad manners. SHAME!

Although a store this size cannot be expected to hold everything you need, they do carry a lot of the essential products you may need to complete a project. Friendly staff and not a huge price mark up considering the location.

Despite comments here about unfriendliness, my visit today was perfectly as one would hope for. The service was good, the staff helpful and friendly, the layout making it easy to find what you need.

I don't know why the shop is always full. The staff is very unhelpful. Once a guy actually uffed (loudly!) at me when I asked what wall plug should I get for a specific job.

Unfortunately not very friendly or helpful. Yes perhaps I should have checked the app in the plug. But I thought they would know if I said it’s for a washing machine.

Really very good shop we get all sorts of stuff from. From floor/wall protection like Corex up to paint/brushes and other decorating materials.

I bought a hole punch for a leather belt. It works well enough, and not expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful, I'd come here again.
