I just signed paperwork for a unit to work & run my business out of & though I normally wouldn’t review this early, however this time it feels necessary to make an exception & to give credit to the 1604 staff that helped me with getting a unit locked in. I drove to every Lockaway Storage around the San Antonio area except for 2 in order to find the best match. To clarify & this not to be taken out of context, I do not fewl that all the other location’s Lockaway’s Staff were bad, but the 1604 Location’s Staff just really stood out to me. So much to where I chose the 1604 location (25 min drive from my residence) over other’s that were closer . They were quick to show me their units so I could have an idea of the sizes to compare, they answered all my questions, straight to the point, there wasn’t that “ over the top” robotic like sales pitch. To sum it up they were a simply genuinely friendly welcoming staff that I wanted to make sure were recognized. The facility itself also seemed to be well kept, clean & that’s something else that I personally look for if it’s a place i’ll be spending a good amount of time at. - LP

Worst experience ever! I don't reccomend. I spoke to someone who told me i had a 10 day grace period to take my stuff out before my gate code no longer worked. So i went in on the 9th and my gate code no longer worked. Called and left messages and got a call back the next morning. The gentleman i spoke to told me i shouldn't have an issue getting my stuff and that he would have a manager call me back. When she called me back she told me in order to get my gate code to work i had to pay 31$ With everything going on and my husband being laid off due to Covid 19 31$ goes a long way for us. Wish they would have had better Customer service and not been so untruthful.

Jennifer was awesome taking care of exactly what I needed. I had a reservation at another location but realized the unit was going to be too small. The lady (sorry can't remember her name) was nice enough to call Jennifer to see if she had a larger unit. Not only did she have a larger unit but was able to accept my original reservation special. This is the second time I have used these guys and they are always so nice and have never had any issues with storing my stuff there. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

'Nisha was a great help! She explained things very well, answered all my questions with a fantastic attitude, showed me a unit that met my requirements and (as it was recently vacated) promised to have it swept out before I came back with my first load. Brought the first load in that evening. Had no problems accessing the gate or bldg (simple and straightforward instructions provided), and the unit was ready to go when I got in there. Very easy leasing experience!

Lockawsy Storage has serviced us for over three years and throughout that time they have always been most helpful and accommodating with our questions and needs. We have always been able to reach someone and they are very responsive when you have to speak to someone. We also have never had any problems or issues with the safety of our belongings. I started renting a 10' X 20' in February at a monthly rate of $125.00 per month which seemed reasonable but not even eight months go by and I get an email of rate increase for my rental unit to $138.00 per month. The explanation I got when I called my storage location was supply and demand and that a 10' X 20' unit now would cost me $255.00 per month. I would think rates wouldn't increase within a year and i'm not very happy about it.

Love that they have bathrooms for men and woman inside along with a snack/ soda machine and a table for those that are going to be there a while. Nisha is great, will always go out of her way for me when I have questions and concerns. Positive attitude is a plus and she has it. Even if I’m taking a little of her time she always leaves me with a smile

This is a great place for an office, especially for small businesses. Very clean and great neighbors. Jennifer is great! She makes sure we have what we need and always responds to any request or question the same day. I would highly recommend this location. We are expanding to East Austin next year and a location like this would be wonderful.

Lockaway Storage is a great spot for my Business and also for storing my equipment. It's clean, quiet environment and location brings in great customers and allows me to display quite nicely and conveniently. Storages are very spacious and secure. I never have a problem getting in to pick up my equipment or with any other renters.

Steven provided friendly informative customer service. Units are clean as are the hallways. Easy to gain access using my code. I find that Lockaway Storge will always be my first choice when in need of extra storage space. Unlike other storage businesses I was welcomed with my first full month for free. Respectfully, Rosa V

As a business we have been renting two years from now. We started with an office space and 2 units and now We rent the office and 6 units. Management and most of all of the staff always be helpful. As most of the things there are areas to improve as of tenants and renters and hope all we do better with time.

A disclaimer...I just started renting from this place, but so far so good...Peter is a feather in this places cap, he was very accommodating to my neuroticisms, and unending questions, I rented a unit and they seem very nice. I will update this in a while to give you the scoop on the total experience.

Fine, just sucks that the price went up each year. I also specifically changed the date my storage unit was paid (instead of the first of the month I had to do the fifth) and wow the amount of texts and emails I would get making sure I didn’t forget to pay… anyway, the office staff are nice! …

I initially attempted to use the online service for the non contact option which did not work so I was forced to go inside. Thank goodness the representative there was able to take care of everything. The great customer service and reasonable prices stopped me from using another storage facility.

Absolutely outstanding service. The manager as well as the rest of the staff were kind, knowledgeable and highly competent in solving my problems and answering my question. They made the entire experience quick and easy. I would absolutely recommend this place for all of your storage needs.

As someone who has to move around a lot its so nice to know my things are safe and I don’t have to worry about them. The facility was clean and well organized and the staff was friendly and helpful while I was getting everything set up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I have been having trouble with the Lockaway storage facility on Encino Commons. They never answer their phones. I called Steven at the Culebra and 1604 facility and he assisted me. Excellent customer service. Give him a raise.

I enjoy the area, very clean lots of lightning in the evening. But, I don't like the fact that gate to the trash bin are always locked. And at times it's hard to get a hold of someone. Other than that love this place

The customer service I get here is great but I think the pricing is to high. I have been here since this location was built out of the 4 GMs Steven has ran this location the best.
