Cranbourne railway station is a railway station and the current terminus of the South Gippsland line, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Construction started in early October 2010. Completion was expected in 2011, however due to underbudgeting for electricity for the railway station the project stalled, delaying the completion of the station.
It's a fine station, but lacks frequent trains (every 15 minutes in the morning to 20-30 minutes during the day) and parking is horrible with no way to get across to the other side. Often full by 7.30am.
Come early there are ample car parking space both on the North and South side of this station. ** It needs a Public Toilet facilities **
I visit here quite often, and it is a quality railway station. The cranbourne line is top quality, proud to be a fellow Lynbrookian!
