They seem friendly and honest about the cars they sell in person but don't disclose the damage to the vehicles on the listings on their website, so it's buyer beware. Besides that, despite calling before the scheduled "holding time" to get my "refundable deposit" back and calling them multiple times over the last few weeks, it looks like I won't be getting my "refundable deposit" back. As for the buying experience, all of the cars I was interested on their website, (under $10k) all needed several thousands of dollars of work to be drivable/pass an inspection, there was this jeep compass for $15,000 that only needed minimal work besides the 2 catalytic converters (not needed in Alberta but were $$$$ to replace), although it was a little higher than I'd like to spend, it drove alright and didn't have any major engine codes when scanned, as I was still shopping around, when I was on a test drive of a different, newer vehicle, I noticed it pulled to the right (needs an alignment) when I mentioned it, the sales rep said that's normal and is for safety and that all cars do that, according to his training. After that and several other minor red flags, I had decided to look elsewhere and only purchase the jeep compass if all other dealerships failed, thankfully I found a great deal on a much nicer but 3 year older car with no mechanical issues and for a few thousand less. My tldr; False advertising on their website, "refundable deposit" is actually non refundable, bad alignment means "safety" apparently and 10% (min) interest rate with a hard credit inquiry.

Update 2: changed to 5 stars. Salesman Dave returned my call as promised and was very straight up and honest about the condition of the vehicle, that goes a long way especially when dealing with a used vehicle. Was very pleasant to speak with, on the whole, would recommend dealing with them. Update: changed from 1 star to 3, pending further updates. So, I attempted to contact them on the ad on Facebook. I have to admit, I was impressed that the salesman reached out to me at 10 pm. on a Friday night to explain why they did not get back to me. He explained that he was the only salesman on the day I called, and he was legitimately working all day. He told me he would call back tomorrow morning at the start of his shift. We'll go from there... Original post: I was looking for a vehicle for my son and came across an ad that seemed a little too good to be true, so I called them on it. They could not speak to me when they found out which ad I was referring to, but seemed interested in feeling me out for other 'higher' priced vehicles. When I insisted this was what I was looking for, all their salespeople were out on test rides. A few hours later, when I called them back, apparently, they were all too busy again out on test rides. Seems to me they like to use the bait and switch tactic, and if that doesn't work, they're not interested in speaking with you. Conclusion: Find a reputable dealer or buy privately.

I see all the good reviews and wish I could agree, but for me, it was not a good first time experience. I’m glad I never went through with the financing, especially through Magma Motors. I was in contact with Evan for weeks and when I finally went in to choose a vehicle I was never even told the price or anything. I asked 3 different times about the price of the car and didn’t hear back, it was always “we’ll talk more when you come in again”. I wanted to know the price before I went ahead and put the insurance and booked my interlock but I still had no numbers for the car itself. I even put $100 deposit for the car to give me time to finish working on the insurance and stuff. When I decided not to finance instead, I asked for my deposit back because it was promised to be returned if anything changed. I’ve texted 3 times for it and Evan continues to say “I will contact HR” when he was the one who took the payment and promised to return it. To this day I still have no info on what the price of the car would’ve been. Lol. And I’m not worried about the $100, it isn’t a huge loss, but the fact that the whole experience was not good, is why I am leaving the review. They can keep that $100, when I do decide to go through with financing again it will NOT be with Magma Motors. :) 0 stars, too bad it isn’t optional.

I was in the market for a replacement vehicle as my 2010 reached it's 10th birthday, time for something different. And at Magma Motors... I found different. What really stands as "different" from the other 4 dealerships I visited was the 'no pressure' approach. Answers to my questions were clear and when needed found. Dealing with Kaesha was really cool, well on her way to success with her level of professionalism! Thanks to Sandra, the financing option was better than anyone else had offered (and I had other vehicle options at other dealerships...) but just getting me the best rate and then squeeze them one last time to get me another point.. lol.. THANKS SANDRA!!! Magma.... the right deal with the right folks for the right vehicle... My 2017 Escape is doing well and so am I. Only one concern... the background music in the office is a little too loud... makes hearing a little difficult... ( I may be a boomer, but I hear well enough!) so, maybe lower the volume a few decibels. Over all, if you're in the market for a used vehicle... and do not want the usual high pressure push... go to Magma!

So I was a little hesitant about applying for a vehicle loan only because everywhere else I went I got turned down however kaesha and Sandra worked with me and I was approved I couldn't believe it. They are absolutely awesome and they work with their customers to get them into something they like and can afford. I am now on my second car from them and am very please with all of their help and how they treat their customers like friends and family rather than just someone they can make a buck off of. Very please with they way they have helped me and many others. I highly recommend all that are In search of a vehicle or recreational vehicle to go to magma motors and talk with kaesha and Sandra. I drove into the city to try and buy a vehicle but unfortunately the business hours listed on their add online were clearly incorrect. Said they were open till 9pm on Thursday but they were closed at 6:30pm. I called and made an appointment to see the vehicle a few days later and once again after driving into the city nobody was at this lot to show me the vehicle. Big waist of time and I will jt make any further attempts to do business with them

Im new to canada and i've been searching a car with so many dealers but never have a chance to get any approvals. By far the best people and company to deal with. Sandra worked with me and was extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire purchase process and even afterwards. I got my vehicle about 3 weeks ago now. Got to say I'm happy and not happy about their service. Went to go get my 2 recalls on the vehicle I got fixed, and the dealership I went to told me there's work that has to be done on it now. I wasn't told that there was work to be done on it before I got it, if there was I wouldn't got the vehicle. So I will say I'm not happy.

I got into a 2015 Ford Focus se. Kaesha and Jasmine where so easy to work with and kind. They where patient and didn’t leave anything out. Sandra was great to deal with when it came to paper work she explained it really well. I made countless trips in but it all payed off in the end. Very great dealership to deal with very friendly would highly recommend.

I was hoping to write a positive review, but I just can't. Never in all my life have I seen such gross incompetence. Trying to get ahold of staff is impossible. I send text messages and wait hours for a response....if I get one. I have submitted all my paper to apply for a car loan from this company and it starting to look like they just dont care.
