My wife and I used Majestic for a smallish move from Mooroolbark to Croydon, less than 10 kilometres away, largely because of the good online reviews. I was impressed with the owner, Ryan, who came and assessed the job and provided a very reasonable quote. He was punctual, friendly, thorough and also flexible, understanding that we couldn't be sure yet whether some items would be going or not. On moving day one of Ryan's team, a guy named Silver with an Estonian background, turned up a bit before the others and checked on which items we'd decided were going. He then moved quite a few outdoor items by himself to near where the truck was going to park. Silver was a really nice bloke... friendly, hard working and strong as a forklift. Two more guys turned up in the truck and the three of them started loading everything on. The biggest fear you have with removalists is lack of care with your items or with the flooring of your old or new places. Ryan's team were really good in this aspect and if an item was fragile they packed it carefully and marked it 'this side up' on all sides of the container. They had plenty of drop sheets for use in the appropriate areas. At our new home we had recently installed brand new light coloured carpet throughout. It was a wet day and we were concerned, as removalists are not supposed to remove their shoes, for safety reasons. However, a solution was found by Silver and he pretty much singlehandedly got all the inside stuff to where it had to go, without any damage to the carpets. He was also the one who did almost all the dismantling and reassembling. By the end of the day he had a wounded hand and looked pretty much knackered... hence the special mention of his amazing work ethic. Major respect. We rated all of them highly and have no reservation recommending them as a very friendly and professional team.

We have recently relocated from the Suburbs of Melbourne to South Gippsland. This was a huge move for us as not only do we have a lot of books, furniture, cd's and dvd's, we had a lot of outdoor stuff as well, which included lots of plants. We had also put quite a bit into storage at very reasonable rates. Ryan and his team did an absolutely wonderful job moving us. They were friendly, professional and great to deal with. They went above and beyond in what they did for us and took a lot of the stress out of moving. We are extremely happy with the whole process and thought the costs were reasonable too. I have zero tolerance when it comes to businesses which don't deliver what they promise. Further, selling and moving house is a taxing time and my tolerance meter is very sensitive at times like that. Thank goodness for Ryan and his team. Friendly and businesslike, he provided an in-home quote same day. We scheduled pickup and delivery approximately one week apart. Closer to the pickup date I advised him of extra items and a doubling of the number of cartons. No problem, we will handle that he said. Handle it he did. We moved in today, and his team are friendly, courteous and nothing is too much trouble for them. They even advised us on the correct way to use our new Miele steam spin dryer. If you want your move to go smoothly - and who doesn't - call Ryan and be glad you did.

The crew at Majestic helped us with a local house removal a few months ago. Very professional and experienced operators. The team did a great job. We ran into a few unexpected issues on the day of our move as the owner of the house (we purchased) decided to act like a muppet and was out having a latte on the day of settlement instead of organising their finances, but the guys at Majestic took it all in their stride and remained calm throughout the entire day. Really good guys who work very quickly and are happy to tackle any unexpected challenges with minimum fuss. I would recommend these guys by a country mile over any other relocation/removalist company I have used in the past. I have probably used around a dozen removalist companies over the past ~20 years.

Ryan is one of the nicest and competent young man I have meet. Ryan diligently and professionally organized our household relocation to Tasmania. Nothing was to much trouble. He took all the stress out of our move and it went extremely smoothly. He is moving the rest of our belongings at the end of the month into an apartment and I have zero stress knowing we have the best Moving Company in Melbourne handling our possessions. I will write another review once this move is done because people like Ryan are hard to find ! Its is now the 4th May 2019. Ryan moved use into our apartment without any issues as we expected and is also organizing another shipment to Tasmania. Majestic Moves really are the best around !!

After the first phone call I could see why Ryan was referred, he was so easy to deal with and ran through what to expect on moving day as we had two settlements to go through and weren't sure how best to handle it. Ryan came to quote and was on time, friendly and professional. We accepted the quote. The staff who did our job were half an hour early (Ryan let us know they were ahead of schedule) and got straight into it on a very hot day. Nothing was a bother. They were courteous, polite and represented Majestic Moves very favourably. Moved house with Majestic moves last week and absolutely cannot fault Ryan & Paul on the job they did! Moving furniture & boxes down a flight of stairs at one end then back up a tight, narrow staircase in my new place - it certainly wasn't an easy job for them! Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were on time and had the full move completed (including some tricky furniture assembly) by mid-afternoon. I highly recommend these guys, they certainly take the stress out of moving house!
