"Manchester Road Dental Surgery" (MRDS) has expanded with purpose-built renovations (completed this year); check-out the TV screen on the ceiling when you are in the chair! The build inside gives off a nice comfortable "vibe" which is further enhanced by the ladies at Reception: Ashley, Brody (and others) who are [each] superbly-helpful, very personable and efficient to a tee. They always make a person feel welcome; you girls rock! When it comes to the business-end of my reason to attend MRDS, this review is about "Dr David Rivadillo"; his practioner-wife Amanda is just as deserving. I have presented a number of "tricky" dental situations with David, over the years, e.g., a 'double' tooth nerve when preparing for a dental Crown; very rare, but picked-up by David! He is very personable, professional and always has a relaxing pre-examination chat with you. Throughout the procedures, he explains (forewarns?) what he is doing, or will be doing. At the end of the appointment, he reviews the work done and explains any further issues you need to be aware of—any questions? (It would be remiss of me to fail to also include the seamless synergy between David and his dental assistant.) As a forty-year resident, I 'know' there are a number of Dental Surgeries available in Mooroolbark—tested them out in my earlier years—but I am prepared to swear "on-a-stack-of-Bibles", that you can be extremely confident that all of your dental needs can be addressed by the Team at MRDS. They also do a follow-up a day or two after a procedure to check if there are any post-dental concerns. For me (and incidentally our family) there is simply no other Dental Practice I would trust for complete dental care.

The thing I noticed walking in was the fact that the chair was a nice lime green colour and not the usual depressing black. This chair as it turned out had a lot going for it. It was actually comfortable. I have lower back issues that can be a problem. Not on this chair! First pleasant surprise! My second pleasant surprise was the fact that the filling I had, had to be the easiest filling I have ever had. I started off trying not to be too tense so I watched the cooking show on the ceiling thinking doing this wouldn’t get me to forget where I was. I gradually relaxed completely because the reality was I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. Now, I am one of those people who have had my share of fillings so I was expecting the usual drill that feels like nails running down a blackboard. Nothing like that happened. I don’t go to the dentist much as a rule so I assume I may be completely out of date but I can honestly say my visit was as pleasant as possible and I highly recommend the staff at the surgery, who were all very friendly and helpful. My dentist’s name is David Rivadillo who I obviously recommend highly.

I have been going to Manchester Rd Dental Surgery for the past 2 years. After having previous bad experiences with dentists, I decided it was time to try somewhere different. From reading such good reviews about Manchester Dental I booked an appointment with Dr Anna. She listened to my concerns and was so gentle and caring and made me feel at ease. I love this dental surgery, the staff there are very professional and are highly skilled. Not only is it a good place to go for a dentist appointment, you can book a orthodontist appointment there to. The skill of both Dr Amanda and Dr David is at the highest standard. There is also a great waiting room with a T.V that has access to Netflix, all you have to do is ask one of the very friendly receptionist to change what's one. The parking is in a very convenient area with easy access to the entrance of the establishment. I cannot recommend this dental surgery enough, please bring yourselves or your friend and child next time you have to book an appointment for yourself or for them.

I had an extremely infected and broken wisdom tooth needing extraction with urgency after being informed by ER that I must have it removed within a few days. After calling this clinic at 2pm, they were able to not only fit me in to be assessed; but were also able to perform the extraction within 2 hours of calling up. Dr. Anna and her assistant were absolutely incredible and performed amazing painfree work whilst keeping me calm and feeling safe. A big thanks to the receptionist for being able to fit me in as quickly as she could as well. One of the best dental experiences I could ask for and I will be a returning patient most definitely.

Having avoided Dentist for the best part of 20 years and growing weary of Super Gluing my old plate, together with a mouth full of other issues, I plucked the courage and attended this practice. Fearful of harsh judgement I was greeted by incredibly welcoming staff. From my first appointment with Dr Ibrahim now 3 years back, he has always kept me very informed as to what needed to be done. Last month my new plate was finally ready and has restored my smile and self esteem. I've had a few appointments now with Dr David and I have been astounded by the service, care and treatment I've received. He is friendly, non-judgemental, thorough, and takes the time to get to know you and explain everything in detail to make sure you make informed decisions and feel comfortable. I have avoided dentist trips in the past, but feel very comfortable about them now. The fees have been extremely reasonable also. Manchester Rd dental is by far the best dentist I've ever visited. Firstly, such friendly staff. The dentists, nurses and reception staff are all so kind. I have seen 3 different dentists here over the years and all of then are patient, gentle and given great care. Always happy to listen and discuss options suitable for me including financial options. My children and I, we all go to see David at this clinic. He came highly recommended to us by a family friend and we have never been disappointed with the amazing service he and his team provide. They are professional, they serve with a smile, and David's knowledge is exceptional. My children are aged 3 and 6, and he is so great with them. Over the years I have tended to avoid dentists, but after my last two visits to David I wonder why. Lots of assurance, care and patience. After my first visit a number of years ago it was a revelation in terms of explaining exactly what is happening and "does it hurt" means. I expect now on the third visit in 7 years I will have the confidence to attend the dentist regularly. And, an added benefit - I actually asked the receptionist if she had undercharged me because I'm sure the last time I had a crown years ago in Sydney it was twice the price. Definitely a dentist that is worthwhile traveling to.

Doctor David Lee is outstanding. His work is thorough, precise and prompt. And what makes him shine and above the rest is his compassion. I have been to many dentists this has been the first one felt comfortable at and not been worried about going too. I Have been coming here a few years now. My family and I see Dr Anna who is very gentle, calm and patient with us. Dr Anna is one of best Dental surgeons I have ever come across in my life. She is very gentle and caring and has done a amazing work on one of my molars! In the past couple of years I have had that tooth redone at least 8 times, but Dr Anna is so good and I can chew on that side with no worries and the work she has done has lasted well over a year and still going good. I’ve had both Amanda and David looked after me. It’s hard to find a dentist(s) who you can trust and rely on up and until this practice. All the way through the process, they make sure you feel the most comfortable. Asking relevant questions, informing and explaining what’s going on, giving you options (respecting you as a client who has a say with your dental health) and post-surgery care. Have been coming here for many many years for all my dental needs, Been extremely happy with david. Was the start of this year when i chipped my front tooth and damaged it too with a crack. David suggested i do some veneers and crowns. I ended up doing all 6 teeth.
