My favorite place to buy pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) in the Twin Cities! More tender, flavorful doughs than most places, and well-done toppings. The cemas are plain sweetbread, but the conchas are covered in soft doughy sugar topping, and the novias (my favorite) are always delicate and delicious. Have been coming here for probably over 20 years and have not found a better place in the Cities, especially for speciality breads like Rosca de Reyes (Three Kings Day bread) or Pan de Muerto (Day of the Dead bread). Wish they would make buñuelos, but other than that, this place is fabulous! Get there earlier in the day for the best selection and softest bread choices.

I love the automico Flavor cake which actually the only reason i brought my daughters birthday cake from here 2 years in a row however both years they fail to get the picture i wanted on the cake. Didnt even let me know that it wasnt gunna be how i wanted it till they very last minute. I was a really big fan of here cuz their bread taste so fresh& that automico Flavor i havent found Any where else or close to it. However the thing with the cakes really bothered me! Also unprofessional!

Best place to get fresh churros or any kind of traditional Mexican or Latin bakery pastry item. They even got XL size donuts that are fresh and warm. I would highly recommend anyone to try out there fresh bakery items.

Big selection of pastries and everything is so fresh. I'm a fan but really the price is so cheap for the size of pastries. You can't beat it. We picked a few items we didn't recognize and they were all super delicious. I have no idea what they are called but I want more.

First i saw roaches on the shelves. I dismissed this and proceeded with my purchase. I got home and enjoyed my first Empanada! Mmmmmmm! But the second one I had turned out to have mold on the bottom. YUCK! Never again. Don’t support this bakery please. Take your generous service somewhere else.

Absolutely delicious baked goods and an amazing variety of pastelas, carne, and veggies! Their doughnuts are soft and perfect, the churros are excellent, and the multiple varieties of tres leches cake are stupendous! The mocha tres leches is so far mine and my roommmate's favorite!

Came across the bakery as I was walking by. Another fellow customer told me that he comes all the way from St. Paul to get their bread every week, so I picked up half a dozen including empanadas and they were so good. The baked goods are so inexpensive too. Highly recommended.

Called Marissa’s both supermarket and bakery this morning and all phone directories are a dead end. Please fix this as it can be such a inconvenience and do not want to drive to your establishment when I could just call and ask.

Best Mexican Bakery in town. There is no other like Marissa's. My family has been buying bread there multiple times a week for the last 23 years. Bread is always fresh and if you get there at certain times you will get a warm fresh out of the oven batch.
