The best muffins I have had so far! Definitely not those standard grocery ones and have unique flavors. Have other breakfast options like croissants, eggs, bacon etc. We found the place by chance and loved it. It seems to be popular too as it was busy all the time we passed by during our stay on Shelter island.

Visited here while on vacation. This was a nice, casual breakfast place that we could walk to from our hotel on Shelter Island. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options, including pastries, muffins, and breakfast sandwiches. Good coffee, tasty food, and friendly service.

A must stop when near Shelter Island! Coffee is always on point - especially the White Mocha! Amazing muffins and pastries. My fave is the egg, sausage, and cheese croissant! Huge and delicious!!! It's not a quick stop or a big place ... but a friendly, delicious place!!

Loved this small business! Had the donuts & breakfast sandwiches, delicious! Missed out on the Apple fritters but the guy that had it said it was the best he’s had…tight on space so best to grab and go…don’t hate on the old school-ness of this place …

An excellent little shop with the best donuts on the planet; their apple fritters are unlike the crispy fried messes you’d fine at a BoSa or similar place. They generally have a ton of bear claw fillings to choose from, too. Great service and reasonable prices.

Great spot for a quick breakfast. We had the cinnamon roll donut and almond poppyseed muffin. Both were so good, but the almond poppyseed was pleasantly flavorful. Prices are great as well and the woman at the front was so sweet! Not sure

This place has marvelous muffins. Wonderful mom and pop shop! The muffins are huge, they have great coffee, and great service. One of my favorite things about this place (besides their muffins) is their spinach and cheese croissant- OMG!

Marvelous muffins is a nice locally owned bakery in Point Loma. They're open early which is great whenever I need to go into work. They have a variety of muffins and donuts as well as coffee bar. My personal favorite is the Honey raisin

We have eaten at the Marvelous Muffin shop in the past 8 years, whenever we are visiting Point Loma area. The owner has always made fresh egg sandwiches, either on a bagel or crossant, and they make delicious muffins and cinnamon rolls.

The coffee is so good it's hard for me to savor it slowly.. I got 50-50 Kona /vanilla nut! Muffin choice was banana Walnut. I'm very pleased with my choice to go here versus getting a bagel Elsewhere on my way to this area. Will Return!

A good place to grab something quick for breakfast. They have several different types of muffins, all of which are giant. We had the chocolate chip muffin, and it was delicious. We also ordered a ham and cheese croissant, which was ok.

A really good little shop to grab a quick pastry and coffee in the Shelter Island area. Recommend this place above the coffee chains that are infecting the area. The cranberry walnut muffin is really good along with a hazlenut coffee.

Cinnamon rolls too doughy in the center, I know some consider this a feature, but too raw for my taste. The outer 2/3 were good. Coffee was good, not an excessively bitter Starbucks clone.

The almond poppy seed muffin had so much almond extract in it that my mouth tastes like metal. And the texture of the muffins was dense and gluey in the mouth. Service was friendly!

Seriously the BEST iced coffee I've EVER HAD!!! We went back every morning during our visit. Delicious baked goods & breakfast sandwiches too, but the iced coffee was perfection.

Hands down, a go to on a weekend morning for coffee and breakfast. Roll right onto shelter island, and walk it off. My Saturday favorite. The owner is a true gem.
