I have been a customer for over 5 years. The last 2 years I was pregnant (I have 2 infants) and I did not feel comdortable getting massages being pregnant but I still kept my membership. I accumulated a lot of massages. I started to transfer some over to friends and family. I've had questions and been unhappy with some of their policies. If I cancel now, I will lose all my money in accumulated massages. Autumn is a receptionist there and somehow she is always the person I have to interact with because the manager is never there when I call or come by. This receptionist is so rude and unhelpful anytime I have a question. Recently she stopped talking to me, looked away, and refused to answer any questions. She just disengaged like I was nothing and a waste of her time. I have never had a problem with any other person there in 5 years. I have talked to the manger about how rude she was, about a year ago, but she still works there. I find it hard to believe I am the only person she acts this way with. I have so many massages accumulated and if I cancel then I will lose all the money I have spent. I really wish someone would have a teaching moment with her about customer service. She is just incredibly rude and I would rather drive a half hour farther, out of my way, so I don't have to interact with her. She seems to always be there. She ALONE has made my experience negative. If companies keep disrespectful people like this, I am suprised they stay in business. Once I finish off my many massages, I will take my business to a different company since it is obvious my business is not appreciated and my concerns/questions are rudely ignored. Don't waste your time and get stuck in a contact with these people, like I have. Big mistake. I used to LOVE and look forward to massage envy. Now it is just a thorn in my side and has been since I became pregnant.

I decided to try their dermabrasion infusion. Huge waste of my time and money. For the price I paid I expected a spa like experience. While the lady that did my service was nice, the dermabrasion fell way short. It didn’t even do anything to my skin. When she stopped I even asked, was that it? It felt rushed and didn’t even get my whole face and neck done. I also added the lip scrub and eye treatment. What a joke. I could have done a better lip scrub at home. And as far as the eye treatment, any eye cream felt the same as theirs. I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for. Way overpriced to begin with but then to receive a half done service for whatever reason is just ridiculous. Big mistake throwing my money away for a cheap service like that. I will be taking my service elsewhere from now on. Just a warning for others before they waste their money too.

Read some of the reviews after I had already booked a session so was alittle worried when I went in and boy did I worry for nothing, I've already been back and am going back again in 2 weeks. I had read the girl at the front desk was rude and that was farthest from the truth she was and is still extremely nice to me and my therapist Stephanie is wonderful she made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. I have been to some of the casino resort spas here in town and even though the massages were great they are not cheaper. The only thing I would say to anyone reading the reviews is do not believe everything you read, I think the best way to judge is for yourself! I don't have money to throw away so I am cautious on where I go and like I said I am definitely going back and will continue to do so!!!!

I have had so many terrible experiences here, the same as all of the other 1 star reviews. They consistently mess up appointment times, they hire new and untrained people and don't give them proper training, they make leaving the contract extremely expensive, stressful and difficult. Their response is scripted or to avoid, evade and hope you go away. They just stare at you without offering any pro-active solutions or help. They are greedy, cold-blooded corporate robots who do not care a bit about the health industry or providing any customer service satisfaction. Please contact me for more info. I give massage envy an average rating because I have been a member for several years and their massage therapists are good. However, I highly recommend you do not get a facial from them. They are trying to get into a market they don’t belong in. I’ve had two facials and they have both been total disappointments! I had one today and the actual so called facial took maybe 12 minutes and then I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. WOW!. When I called to ask how long a 1 hour facial should be the manager started making up excuses and arguing with me which just upset me more. What a waste of my hard earned money.

My wife surprised me with a couples massage for my birthday. The guy that did my massage didn't even massage my legs or feet when I specifically asked for him to do so. I felt shafted when he said he was done and had only done my back and shoulders. To top it of he had shaved his arms so he had short prickly stuble all over his arms that felt like sand paper. We called and talked to management and they said there was nothing they could do. Don't waste your time and money at this hole. Also My wife's masseuse was a weirdo.

First time customer. The front office was hectic and panicked due to the computer system going down. Me and my daughter were taken to the back about 7 minutes late. I was expecting additional time since our massage was delayed however my massage ended 10 minutes early per the clock in my massage room. I paid for a 60 minute massage and received 45 minute service. The atmosphere is more like a doctors office. I was not offered essentials oils. Did not smell, look or feel like a spa. We will not be returning.

I bought my mom a gift card for Mother's Day and we scheduled two appts in the same room for a mother/ daughter experience. We get there, fill out our paperwork, sit there and wait to be told after they had messed up and the room wasn't available. Instead of trying to fix this somehow, they acted like nothing was wrong. We canceled and they were... Surprised. Scheduled with a different location. Don't waist your time at this location, horrible customer service, go to another. What a waist of our time.

I've been a member for a year and a half. I don't go every month but stack up my massages and use them when I really need them. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. I have placed my membership on hold before and it was a smooth process. Therapists have always been on point and made my experience a positive one. Keep up the good work Riverside. There is a location closer to my home but can't find it in me to transfer out of Riverside.

Totally agree! This place is not worth your HARD earned money. They do not care about you it all about the money. They try to make their membership so convenient and easy... it's anything but that. I WILL NOT recommend Massage Envy to anyone, I will be sure to tell them not to go there. It's not just one of the locations, it's all of them. You're way better off going somewhere else.

I've only been there once so I can't say too much about it yet. However, I did join for one year because I feel my body could really use a good massage periodically. The people there are very nice and polite but I can't say anything more about it till I see how things go. The prices seem reasonable and the people there seem very satisfied with their outcome.

This Massage Envy location is wonderfully efficient and spa-like. I have been to both Toby and Karen and found their deep tissue massage sessions to be helpful for body, mind, and spirit. Front desk person didn't offer me any water when I arrived and checked in, but did offer the next person who walked in after me. Otherwise, everything was 100%.

This location is a joke. They over charge nd u dont get the full time that u pay 4.. if u dont believe me call them and ask y u have to pay 4 an hour and they only do 45mins. Oh and they are rude and very unprofessional. Go to Bettys instead on candelaria! SO GLAD IM NOT ON AUTO PAY. DONT SPEND UR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE.

No complaints about the therapists. This franchise I general is horrible. Do not sign a contract, if you cancel or they "can't get a hold of you" they will take it upon themselves to cancel you and you lost everything. I have read many bad reviews many have been over 1k of services.DO NOT USE THIS COMANY

I’ve been a Massage Envy member for a couple of years now and have always enjoyed my massages. Just received a massage from Vincent and it was so wonderful I wanted to share. Ladies if you are hesitant to see a male therapist I urge you to try to overcome your hesitations and see Vincent.

Gianna is an amazing massage therapist, I'd recommend her to anyone needed a recommendation for a great massage. She is very focused and listens to what your needs are. She makes sure you are comfortable with the pressure applied. Can't wait for my next appointment with her.

They took 40 minutes to wax my eyebrows. When I asked for mirror they told me they actually don’t have one. I am not sure they are even certified bc lady destroyed my eyebrows by cutting them half way. Please don’t waste your time on wax services

After signing up for a year, I am unable to cancel my membership without a doctors note. As busy as I am, this membership has stressed me out more then reducing the stress. Beware! Don't sign the contract. They literally trap you for a year

I received two gift massages thus my visit. I had two therapists and both were excellent. The facility is nice and well organized. The sessions began on time. The location is convenient and located in a strip mall with other businesses.

I had an account for over a yr here and only went maybe 5 times. There massages are not as good for the price. I get massages at Ojo Caliente and in Las Vegas that are 5x better for a better price. Also their front seat staff is rude.

I love the massage but the lady who massaged me was very offputting. She never responded to any of my comments and did not utter a word through the whole massage. I know you want quiet but this was eery not responding to anything.

Got a medium pressure message. Really felt like a light massage. Even asking for a bit more pressure last about 20 seconds. Started 10 min late in my 1 time and finished about 7 mins early. So 1 hour does not mean massage.

90 minute massage priced at $150, more than major resorts In the city. Non member price is way overpriced. Friendly staff but won’t be back here. Betty’s, Albuquerque Baths and Sandia Resort All less expensive.

Finally was able to get booked for a massage at 8 AM, took the first half of my workday off only to get a call 20 minutes before my massage to tell me that it got canceled. Mind you I’m driving from Los Lunas.

Love this place. Try to go monthly and always feel great after a visit. Best hand & feet massage as well deep body. Gianna is an awesome therapist, I highly recommend her. Healing hands are her gift, no doubt.

my first time at Massage Envy was wonderful!! I had a couple's massage with my boyfriend, our therapist were Lisa and Ann they were very accommodating used the perfect pressure. All in all a perfect session

Gianna is the best! Great experience and I continue to go back to her. She listens and adjusts her technique for what you need each time. The place is clean and quiet, and the staff are friendly.

Brandon is by far THE BEST!!! He really understands the body and listens to the needs of his clients. I always feel so relaxed and rejuvenated when I leave there. I'm so sad he's moving.

My wife and I went to massage envy in the Riverside Plaza and had a great experience! We had a facial and full body massage and both sets of masseuses were great.
