Pros: The lady who did my massage seemed very nice. I was able to use the bathroom before my session. They offer you a water bottle when you leave and the ambiance is nice. Con: I literally left so upset I felt compelled to write this. This was not a real massage, and ten dollars more would have gotten me my usual place and I DEEPLY regret giving this place my service, and being too lazy to drive out there. Lesson learned. This was not a real massage, I paid for a full body deep tissue and it was my back- and basically just hitting me. There was no real massage here and I should have followed my gut when I pulled up and driven away. I have never been a massage place where they request you take off even more and more of your clothing and you have to fight your masseuse on keeping more on. It was apparent there was no real actual massage training, and that the women on the food had mislead me when I ASKED if it was full body. Not worth the money in the slightest, and I caught myself trying to hold back laughter multiple times as it was apparent this wasnt a real massage. That being said the masseuse who saw me seemed perfectly nice, if a little rushed and disinterested so I was going to tip anyway, as I shouldn’t have been there in the first place. The problem in the end was the lady who took my card and wads super rude to me. I tip in cash at salons/massages/whatever because thats typically been easier and better for staff and assumed the same held true here. As I was reaching for my money this lady got very very mad and very annoyed at the idea I wasnt going to tip. When I explained what I was doing, she just sort of huffed and literally said “whatever”. And then tried to tell me my cash tip was too small. Explain to me why my 20% cash wasnt good enough but they wanted something closer to 30%. I would have just never came back and shared this as a silly story to friends before that final interaction but it hit me so wrong. Lesson learned, follow your gut and dont give weird dank places your money even if you feel bad.

BUYER's BEWARE: 0 rating if this was available! This is verbatim from my police report! My initial experiences were positive until Richard at this location became unprofessional with kissing my body. I reported the violation to the receptionist at the San Mateo location and the owner. The owner said in our 1st phone call he would call APD and immediately fire the employee. I returned for a follow up about the situation and to get a case/report file number and I found out that the employee was not fired. In addition, the receptionist, Candy, is his wife. She did not believe my story alleging what occured and the owner never reported the incident to the police. Michael, the owner, said that it was up to me to file the report and he can't just fire someone. Candy kept protesting that she would personally take care of me if I returned. She kept preventing me to leave until I said I might return but was unsure because she was protecting her husband (naturally). As I was trying to leave she then walked out to my car again stating, "I take care of you." She had never ever done that before! I was concerned for any possible repercussions so, I went ahead and filed a report with APD.

Fantastic massage! I called to make an appointment for the 110 min combo and scheduling was easy. The massage was full body on the table although they also do foot massage with soak in large chairs in the front room. The table was pretty comfortable although the head hole is located in the table rather than in a separate headrest, so this is more uncomfortable for me personally. Also, the rooms were not insulated well, so it was possible to hear people walking and talking outside. The male therapist was excellent. He asked what type of pressure and I said I like medium and not too deep. He kept constant medium pressure the entire time along with longer strokes using hands and forearms. He concentrated on the back and also incorporated hot stones and hot towels. The massage includes 10 or 15 min of scalp massage and foot massage. Not one time did I feel the pressure was too deep, as Asian massage is usually deeper tissue. I got cold halfway thru and he placed towels on me and tucked me in so I could keep warm. Very nurturing. Excellent experience and I'll return next time I'm in town.

The only reason I give four stars instead of five is the ambiance in arrival and having to wait for assistance. Other than that, this place is wonderful. My massage today was top of the line. This is not a prissy, don’t touch me there, place. You get a good, solid total body massage with your privates left untouched. You do get a massage of your big muscles to include glutes and quads to the top … why would you get a massage and not have to largest muscles in your body properly addressed? I’m j sure why all the other negative reviews. There is a bit of a language barrier, but certainly not insurmountable. It’s not a spa, the walls do not go to the ceiling and you can hear other customers arrive and depart but, it is brief, quiet noise. The facility is clean and employees are pleasant. I went alone today and have recommended to my husband that he go. I will absolutely be back. Thank you Oriental Health Spa 2.

Oriental Health Spa is one is the BEST places I have been for a massage. I started going there about 6 months now. They are quick to get you in for a service anytime and they provide quality service. The ambiance is quiet and relaxing. The hot rocks they use for all their massages is so soothing. They are VERY reasonable and always take great care of me and anyone I recommend to use their services. I have been to high end spas and let me tell you this is serious the best deep tissue massage and treatment I have ever had. The staff is so kind and always accommodating. I give this place 10 stars! And highly recommend you give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I appreciate Oriental Health Spa so much for always bringing me relief in my times of need - I can always count on Leo to bring my body so much sense of ease after it's become tense and when stressed my body has a way of notifying me through painful signals throughout. I know at Oriental Health Spa I will always leave feeling better and I'm infinitely grateful - Leo always shares tips with me on what I can do at home to maintain comfort. A friend and I also visited the 2nd location on San Mateo but I favor this one on Pennsylvania.

Very poor customer service Called and made an appointment. Then, I was asked to drive to a further location During my massage, I was interrupted by the manager and told me that my massage will only be 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes. I really didn't care about the half price she offered on the next massage on a weekday(I was there on a weekend) for cutting my session short. The two massage therapists talked the whole time during my massage. It wasn't relaxing like it was suppose to be.

I walked in without making an appointment and was able to get a massage without waiting for too long. The massage was fantastic. My shoulders were much more relaxed after that. All the staffs were very nice and polite. Since I still had 5 hours to kill before my flight with no cars and no plans, the front desk lady was so nice to let me stay at the waiting area while figuring out my plan, shared her snacks with me and kept my stuffs while I went out to grab dinner.

I have no complaints with the massage itself. However, when I attempted to pay I was pressured to add an exorbitant tip. I had already left a tip of 20% and when I refused to leave more, I was told that they would not write me a receipt. The cashier was exceedingly rude and kept trying to extract more money from me. Needless to say, I was no longer relaxed, and I will not ever utilize this business again.

Staff is unorganized and they’ve become increasingly greedy demanding 25% - 40% tips. The last time I went to this location, they told me someone would be right with me. I waited for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to start my massage. I left after someone stated they would be with me in a minute and never came back. Go to a more professional business.

Made a same day appointment for two. Got the deep tissue massage, best massage we can remember. We have been to many of the more renowned places in Abq. This place is just as good or better. Great service very clean and awesome price. Hot stones, oil plus great technique. We went to the Pennsylvania shop and definitely will be going back.

Absolutely wonderful! They are very clean, kind and professional. Most importantly, this was by far the best deep tissue massage I have ever experienced! My masseuse knew exactly where my knots were and really worked them out. I will definitely return and I highly recommend this place!

English is not their first language but massage sure is! I got a full body massage with essential oils and hot stones. It was fantastic! They are very professional and courteous. She even used her feet and worked out spasms I'd had for 6 weeks. Reasonable prices and excellent service.
