My name is Rhonda K.Badgett. I was in Medsavers to pick up my grandsons’ medication. I was told on the phone that they would be ready around noon or 1215. So I drove over I live across town. When I got there I I checked in and told the young lady what I was there for and then I asked her if I could use the restroom and she turned around and said we do not have a public restroom. I have nurtured and taken care of people all of my life I cannot imagine telling someone they cannot use the restroom. I also Know if a person asks to use the rest room they Really need to go. I was humiliated and embarrassed, And very uncomfortable as I had to leave and go and find a place to go to the bathroom.The way I was treated was unkind, no compassion and mean.Your mission statement on your website states that you don’t waste time on insurance, which means we, Medsavers, can focus on the patient.I find the behavior that I received today to be complete opposite from What your mission statement states. Actions speak louder than words. Medsavers, is a pharmacy, which Serves patients Not providing restaurant facilities, it’s not focus on the patient as your mission statement says.

Proof that a family-owned, old-school pharmacy is as good as one imagines. Sought niche custom prescription not typically held by any pharmacy. Asked to speak to the owner. Yes, owner. "Chris Johnson here; how may I help?" Excuse me, the genuine owner. Mr. Johnson is helpful, knowledgeable, empathic, and best of all, the decision-maker. He found a supplier; compounds arrived and were formulated within a week The staff is super professional. I was told up-front that it does not accept insurance. That said, the website indicates often matching, even beating, corporate insurance pricing and other paradoxes such as Good RX. (If one needed any more evidence of the U.S. pharmaceutical racket, this is it.) I can't confirm since my "insurance" didn't cover the compound. For my more routine medicines, I'll call to compare prices. If within the ballpark, I won't hesitate to give MedSavers my business. Chris and team - thank you for coming through in my time of need.

Once again the staff at Med Savers were attentive and very professional during this winter storm. I would advise anyone looking for a great affordable place to fill prescriptions and to shop for some health care products to go to Med Savers. I am so grateful to the wonderful staff that it’s hard to describe how much they have helped me and also been patient with me when I’ve been less than patient when it came to working with my doctors. In a pinch they have helped me to fill up a scription when no other pharmacy in town would oblige. Call my doctor and his office could not return calls or emails Chris took the time to call all of his customers back from his home and reassured us that he would be back in as soon as possible and would return phone calls if it was an emergency. During the ice and snow he drove to a small pharmacy and alone made sure people like me were able to get much-needed medication. Chris consistently exceeds expectations.

I haven't even actually used this pharmacy yet but am already impressed with their level of customer care and kindness. I''ve been having so many issues getting a particular Rx filled and it'd been causing stress and anxiety the past few wks when I finally came across MedSavers. Special shoutout to pharmacist Marjan who actually took time out of a busy Saturday to double-check some guidelines for me and she ACTUALLY CALLED ME BACK when she said she would. She was also very kind and empathetic. I'm so relieved I can finally go back to my doctor and have her send my Rx without so many complicated unnecessary issues. THANK YOU!

This pharmacy is an institution for the uninsured. It’s a drug church oasis for many musicians, artists who can’t afford larger chain drug store prices. The owner Chris knows medicine and is an excellent resource for all manner of alternatives and educated suggestions. His staff is equally adept and wildly knowledgeable, easy to engage and I have never had a negative experience or felt awkward in discussing anything sensitive. This is old Austin good people doing saintly things. I absolutely suggest this as my favorite pharmacy, no question. Also, incredibly inexpensive generic drugs. Good day!

Staff is very trans-friendly, which was a big concern of mine when looking for a pharmacy. They've always been incredibly polite and respectful. The one time I was called by the wrong name (both on file since my legal info is not yet updated), they were very apologetic and kind about the mistake. Prices are also the best for my meds compared to any other pharmacy, especially since I'm uninsured. It's well worth the 30 minute drive. Definitely recommend MedSavers if you are trans and/or looking for better prices on medication.

Not only are their prices affordable (that's saying a lot!), but the staff at MedSavers are truly kind & helpful! They went above and beyond to help me get the (ridiculous) paperwork together that I needed to file a claim with my insurance company, and they did it with kindness and cheer. No wonder my doctor highly recommended I get my prescriptions compounded with MedSavers - their staff is a joy to work with and their prices can't be beat!

MedSavers Pharmacy is awesome! If you are in the Austin area, I would definitely use these guys for all your prescription needs. The medicine I needed was out of stock everywhere, and these guys not only had it in stock, but were able to fill it the day I got the prescription sent to them. The service is top-notch and very friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone who consistently needs their meds. Check them out!

Man these people are good! The prices are amazing and anyone that has high co-pays "bronze type plans" should be getting all their medications filled here. Walgreens, etc. will not take care of you like they do here. Chris is an excellent pharmacist and his staff are very helpful. Plus, no headaches with all the random people normally buying things at big box pharmacies :)

We've been going here for years. The pharmacist/owner is incredibly helpful and will spend time talking you through the best options for anything you may need and make recommendations you can go back and discuss with your doctor. He even asked me to call him and follow up with him next week to see if I need to make any adjustments to the dosage of some OTC items as well.

I can’t say enough positive things about this Pharmacy! A stuation occurred that was outside their control and they really rallied! I received my items within 24 hours and did not have to go without any medication. These folks really go the extra mile and care!! Combine that with the most competitive prices around and it’s a wonderful combination, thanks Medsavers!

This place is the best. They are extremely helpful and are focused on your health. This is the first pharmacy I've ever been to where I didn't feel like I was just checking out with a med. I asked a question and the answer was amazingly helpful. My follow up questions were all answered and they were never in a rush to get rid of me. Great job y'all!

Always quick friendly service. They have a nice waiting area as well with toys for kids and magazines as well as lots of local advertising of other business that are health related. Update: 6 years later still amazing and i love love love their pharmacist he is the sweetest most personable professional man. I always feel cared about when coming in.

The Staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient and go above and beyond (like helping me understand why i was feeling sic when changing my medication to fast). It's hard to find service like that these days from the big chains with impersonal service and long lines and wait times. I trust Chris 100%!
