Extremely dissatisfied with this car repairs place. My Peugeot 206CC had engine oil leak and I brought it there They said the can shaft gasket needs to be replaced.OK with it $445 Brought home and still leaked .Took the car there again and this time they said the o-ring in the oil filter ! Had it replaced $89 ...Next day still leaked and they said the switch under the oil filter ... Four times brought the car there and each time different reasons . What a lousy diagnosis or just cheating ? Can't even fix properly in one go . Cost me nearly $550 and problem still there . Next stop is Consumer Affairs I go . I'll lodge a complaint with them . Don't bring your car here or you will have head ache/lost money in the end .

Jack and the team are amazing, I could not recommend them highly enough. My whole family and I take our cars there and he has never failed us. His prices are fantastic and the service is exceptional; nothing is too hard and our cars are usually fixed within a day or two, not to mention you’re able to use one of their hire cares. Jack is so friendly, if there’s an issue we are able to drive our car straight into the workshop and he will attend to us straightaway. He even stayed open late one evening to figure out what the issue with my car was as I was quite upset. An honest, genuine, old school mechanic and service which is hard to find. Wow just wow. What a fantastic service I just had at Menai car repairs. They were prompt, punctual and very professional. Serviced my car there, oil change, tyre change and a few other overdue items I needed to have done. The prices are so cheap considering what I had done and the manager is so nice and courteous that he put my mind at ease knowing that he supervises all car works closely and he double checked everything in front of me before driving off...considering I was handing over my Merc. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. It's a thumbs up from me.

I dropped my car on Monday for just a get a quote to fix my break down car nearby. They told me to come on Wednesday since they didn’t have time to check what’s wrong with it .they called me on Wednesday to let me know the price to get it repair. I came back on Wednesday to take my car because I wasn’t happy with the price. They wanted to charge me quote fee which they never mentioned to me when I made the appointment. This place is scamming . They thinking I m gonna fool for this. I would t give any star but I can’t post this without one. They don’t even deserve it.

I had an amazing experience with this mechanic… I was quite flustered when I arrived as I had some family things going on Meghan and the team basically did everything within their power to sort everything out for me as quickly as possible to help me get on with other things I had to do that day The professionalism, attention to detail and above all kindness was very, very appreciated A rare thing to get these days from any business big or small Could not rate them more highly

Dont know about the quality of car repairs, but I wouldnt trust them with tyres. My wheel alignment that I paid for was so bad I had to do it again weeks later at a more reputable tyre shop. Two of my new tyres they installed had the valve stems poorly installed onto the rim and they kept letting air out. Also check out the 3 reviews recently in quick succession by the family name of Altai, funny enough this shop is owned by Altai Group.

I took my Jeep Wrangler in for a service and one of the mechanics picked up on a noise I had heard but hadn't brought up when I booked the service. They went out of their way to identify what the noise was and did a great job of fixing it once they discovered that it was a faulty part. It was very lucky that the defect was discovered before we went on 2 weeks driving holiday. Great service, very happy and will recommend to others.

The guys always take care of me with no fuss, I trust what they say and trust it is what needs to be done. The Man behind the desk, Michael I believe (hope I got that right) is always super helpful and will look up the cost over the phone, which doesn't happen at most places without someone getting grumpy. My rego had expired and I took it in to get pink slip. They passed it on the spot which was very satisfying. The power steering was also making an awful squealing noise when you turned the wheel, turns out it was a loose belt which they tightened free of charge. Now the car is banging and good to go! Had tyresale 4 tyres fitment here, free wheel alinment, good experience overall, the team try to fit in the schedule as per invoice request from tyresale. I have used Menai Car Repairs 3 times now, and have booked my car in again for a service and brakes next week. I always get top quality, service, advice and value for money. It is certainly NOT in their DNA to be anything but polite, courteous and caring. I have recommended this business to many others who are now equally delighted.

The receptionist was nice, but the mechanics did work on my car without asking my permission first. They did a bunch of extra work to the car such as rear wiper assembly when I only asked for an oil service. It came out to over $1000 because of the extras. Again, that's $1000+ just for a "service". Wouldn't recommend.

Really happy with the service I received. Not what I'm used to from mechanics! Listened to me and solved all my problems. Even ones I didn't tell them about. I felt really looked after and felt my business was valued. Honestly has renewed my faith in people working on my car. Good stuff keep it up!

These guys are capable of anything. That have completed many custom jobs on my Patrol that other shops were just incapabable of. They have recently balanced a set of 35” Beadlock wheels for me that finally have fixed my steering wheel shake. There is nothing these guys can’t do, and do well !

I have been using Menai Car Repairs for a good few years now for all my cars, a mix from my MGB to my Jaguar. I have always had excellent service from Jack and his team and Mike on the front desk will offer to research any parts I cannot find, a fantastic help to me in the past.

The garage I took my roadworthy car to in Bondi wanted $1500 to fix all number of exaggerated problems in order to provide a pink slip. Prompt inspection with Menai Car Repairs and no issues found. Thank you I and I will definitely be back with our vehicles in the future!

Fixed my problem They made an error in my service. However once the error was discovered , the head mechanic, Jack fixed all issues at NO cost Their work since has been great Jack is an honest gentleman and skilled mechanic . All costs are reasonable Highly recommended
