I thought I would respond to the previous poor rating. I have been using the facility for years and it is great! Clean, quiet, safe and secure and very convenient for me. Indoor and heated. It is a new location that just took over from a private firm. The old place had an old and unsafe elevator. The new owners are investing in the facility and installing a new modern elevator. There are signs posted clearly stating that the elevator will be operational soon. Installing an elevator is not an overnight job! They are open weekends, I’ve been there several times on the weekend. Personal insurance is not mandatory. You have an option to use their in-house insurance or use your own. I opted to use my own because it was cheaper per month. The friendly staff were courteous to make the transaction. Recommended and affordable!

This location isn't open on weekends and sometimes they're not even open during regular business hours making it difficult to access my belongings. Recently I have had issues where I've been billed for late charges while my bank statements clearly indicate no transactions have been attempted by mini mall. I've been charged over $100 this month for late payments and despite all attempts at rectifying the situation, the store manager maintains that I am at fault. The facilities are lacking, the elevator is often out of service, meaning I have to haul everything up and down stairs. This is not what I pay for and will be shopping for a new place to store my goods.

We have a unit and for the 2nd night in a row, are locked out when we are supposed to have 24 hr access. Last night we were able to get in contact with someone who gave us a code and gained access. Tonight, we are not able to get a hold of anyone and locked out. We have a uhaul full of our belongings that are supposed to be in storage, covered by insurance. We are in the process of moving and don't have time to waste tracking someone down to gain access to our own belongings and certainly not what we paid for. This is unacceptable and in breach of the rental agreement.

Budget Self Storage welcomed the Missing Children Society of Canada to store our bottle bins at their facility at a reasonable cost that made it affordable for our not for profit charity. As a charity we rely on generous corporations, businesses and kind Canadians to help us keep the doors open to continue to find missing children for searching families free of charge! Super happy with the professional and very quick and efficient service when we were looking for a storage container for our upcoming move. Melanie was super helpful and got us into a container in less than 20 minutes so we could start storing our contents with peace of mind. The facility is safe and secure and very clean units! Great facility with great prices and we highly recommend if looking for a storage in the city. Also like that we can access our unit 24/7

I am not really sure about the types of reviews posted for this place!!! But as far as I know some of my belongings got stolen here. The lady at the desk told me to report it to the police and when I did that she was upset about it ! The police said that they have several theft reports from this location in the past 2 years and they will contact me if they find any of my stolen items.

Emanuel made sure I got the best storage rate in Calgary. The storage units are clean, indoor, dry, dust-free and heated controlled so I know I can safely store pianos in his facility. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything I needed. I'm very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend Budget Storage.

Ed is the owner of the facility, he is easy going and takes a great deal of pride in securing your personal belongings at a very competitive price. I have been dealing with Ed for over two years and can't think of a better place to store my personal belongings and business stuff too...thank you Ed!

I got my stuff stolen in this place last year. The individual storage units are open at the top, not covered. Anyone can climb up can reach into your stuff. The cameras are only downstairs at the entrance and there's no camera at the storage area which will make any theft easy and hard to prove.

Great friendly service. Good price and nice selection of storage space sizes. Ed cares about his customers, was always eager to help me out, and I had no concerns at all with the security of my belongings. I would definitely recommend Budget Storage and would gladly use them again.

Rates are really low, place is dry clean and secure so I don't have to worry about my items getting damaged while they're being stored. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Ed the owner even helped us get everything into the unit.
