A pleasant, outdoor shopping experience with a variety of shops and eateries to relax and stroll. Just steps away from the Mission Valley trolley stop, so no need to drive if you dont want to. The area is not so crowded that you can't take your time to shop and any store you can think of is in close proximity to the mall. The Westfield Mall area is one if the premier shopping experiences in San Diego. You'll enjoy this area for the shopping and feel from going.

It was not as crowded as we thought. Liked the feel of being in an indoor mall with outside feel. There were plenty of places to eat. We went section that had Nordstrom/AMC. Every store we walked into asked if we wanted help, which was nice. Getting to parking garage was a little confusing, otherwise this nice mall to visit especially if you are staying in one of the Mission Valley hotels across the overpass.
Sooooo much better. Last time I was here was earlier this year and the mall was so/so. Not really any exciting stores. Now it seems like management is brining in nicer stores to attract more people. I saw a cool new soccer store with a big statue outside, a new restaurant is opening soon, and I shopped inside this new vintage store they brought in as well. Really liking the direction this place is going in.
I just happen to stop by looking for a Panera Bread close to the Mission Church after mass and received the worst service ever. This place is just not it. It's trying but it really isn't. Westfield UTC is the best place to go, it's so much cooler. Plus the food service personnel is horrendous. I really wouldn't recommend anyone to go here unless you're the same kind of person
It’s crowded on the weekends and parking can be a problem, but the beach is right next to the sidewalk to the Del Coronado hotel. If you can’t find parking nearby, park across the Silver Strand Highway at the City Hall. It’s not a long walk and there’s a light to cross the busy highway. The beach is beautiful and the waves are not bad for body surfing and board surfing.
This mall has a lot of shops, last time I was here everything was closed up. There is still plenty if empty spaces. It's an outdoor mall with very little traffic. I entered a few shops grabbed some snacks & walked around it was chill. There is a movie theatre with plenty of restaurant around it. The few stores I enterad were very interesting. Just your regular mall .
Beautiful shopping mall. Most major brands are there. Most department stores are there, too. Fun food Court. Plenty of covered and open free parking. The mall in a bigger shopping village. Plenty of good restaurants and hotels around. Very relaxing sofas and seats throughout the two stories of the mall. …
No longer Westfield. They couldn't get their name off this location quick enough. Years ago, when I was involved in a promo event with my company and Westfield, their rep confided in me that they considered this an "inner-city" mall. I was a bit taken aback by this admission. Seemed a bit....well, you fill in the banks.
Took my youngest to go see Saw X ( amc 20) saturday night for his bday then took him shopping at nordstrom rack on sunday...been going to that mall since I was single...now my kids go there. lots of memories...great atmosphere, plenty of parking. if your from out of town welcome to san diego. come check it out.
Good place to shop and the highlight is they still have a Spencer Gifts store. Also I use the target that's attached quite often and a lot of people might not know this but there is a currency exchange inside of this shopping mall and that's huge because there are not many of them around, let me tell you...
outdoor mall so a different kind of shopping experience. reasonable range of stores with plenty of clothing shops. main drawback is eateries are across the car park from the shopping. plenty of parking, restrooms were clean. worth a look if you're out this way or visiting Fashion Valley.
Mission Valley is a cute and small little mall! There are a few great food options, and plenty decent of stores to go shop. It does have a target which is always a plus in my book! It’s overall such a great place to hangout with your friends or by yourself! Highly recommend checking out!
If I could give less I would. Just had an incident inside Macy's at 4:45 today, a man (for lack of a better word) knocked my husband down for no reason and kept walking. Macys employees did nothing. I will never shop here again or anywhere at Mission Valley mall!
Gorgeous little place now a days to enjoy the night mall and recently decorated with Christmas trees and more. Great place for drinks of all sort and meals at various restaurants around plus few table with a warming fire pit to add to the scene and keep you warm.
Just a great outdoor mall. Very busy all the time but no surprise because it has tons of different stores. Everything from high-end stuff to little niche stuff. There's a movie theater here in tons of eateries. A great place to spend an afternoon
I’ve been going to Modern Acupuncture in MV for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! Candace (owner) always greets me with a smile, gets me set up and always has my green tea ready after my acupuncture. The room is dimly lit, with
We ate at the Lazy Dog restaurant and it was delicious. 10/10 for everything from the food to the service and atmosphere! We will definitely be going here again and we've been recommending it to our friends and family every chance we get!
Dismal was a lot of fun there's plenty of stories to choose from in the movies played at the movie theater. I enjoyed the IMAX theater and the Vans store and of course you can't go anywhere without hitting bathandbodyworks. Enjoy! …
Mission valley has gotten better from the previous few years. They have some great shops but also a few vacant spots too. There were still transients wandering around screaming at people but it's still better than from five years ago.
Nice convenient mall central to the freeways...8, 15, & 163. New restaurants opening, and go to for home needs. Underground parking as well as outside parking... When you have time to kill, AMC theater available in the mall center...
Great mall terrible security hoping they all get fired and a new company moves in because the security is racist and profiles anyone with a back pack is homeless .they really no how to make someone feel like trash
We had a great time. Parking was plentiful and close to the area we wanted to be in. Our purchase in three different stores was quick and easy. All the reps were very polite and upbeat. Definitely will be back.
626 nightmarket Food expo in parking was great pretty tasty but way way too expensive. Mall is good some pretty cool spots not too many I shop at expensive theaters also pretty good but expensive as well
Very nice place to walk around and spend the day shopping. Stores in all price ranges and good restaurants too. Sit out spots have cushioning too! Downside was that you only get 2 hours of fre parking.
Showing it's age but has a great selection of shops, restaurants, and ample parking. We had lunch at Onami Seafood Buffet and even found some awesome Padres T-shirts while walking off our meal. …
Very cool mall lot of thing to do and places to eat. We ate at 356 you cook at the table, we stopped at Leaf and Petal the staff is great the store is cool stone and gem and plants. It’s so Zen!
Very nice small easy to get in and out plenty of parking and I like the idea of the movie theater as well as a food court near each other. Quite a number of nice stores that you can visit
Dirty, smokers , loud music near the Nordstrom store, kiosk selling flowered vaping and assorted accessories, homeless people etc……. Needs a good cleaning and attention to detail
The AMC Dolby Theater was awesome! Love the reclining seats and how comfortable they are over all. The rest of the Theater is a bit more like sardines: packed in tight.
I went here for my friend’s birthday and we got to see Jurassic World exhibition. It was outside them all under a tent there until April 2023. I recommended amazing.
Awesome movie theater and shops and food. Park under the mall its behind the target. Don't park in front its packed and very busy. Purchase your AMC tickets online.
for not being from san diego to moving here 2 months prior to this post the mall is decent easy parking plenty of space lots of stores its a cute little mall
Always busy especially with traffic. Drivers have to be careful, be defensive & cautious. Please pay attention to people running, walking across the streets.
Plenty of parking, fun shops, a great shopping experience! The currency exchange is one of the only places in San Diego to trade in your Euros for dollars.
I love this shopping center, it has quite a variety of stores. of different types both personal or beauty and electronics and the different places to eat
Convenient underside parking with quick access to anywhere in the mall. Could use a little clean up but other than that. Wasn't too bad. I like it.
This used to be a nicer area about 10 years ago. Really run down because of all the transients would not recommend going there if you can avoid it
Lot of stores have shut down but, everything i shopped for I've gotten at Westfield it making a come back. I believes its under new ownership.
It’s okay. Lots of vacant storefronts, but has plenty of shops available and nationally recognized. I go there monthly and will continue to.
Although not as opulent as it's higher class neighbor this mall has a good feel to it a good atmosphere and is a decent place to go
Lots of places to eat King's Fish House is one of the best freshest oysters in town good seafood Trader Joe's is really busy and
Visited Lazy Dog after work to watch the Cowboys game with coworkers. Nice place and atmosphere too bad the boys got stomped.
I got this game at the mission Valley mall. I wish gamestop employees Got paid more but it's a great store to shop for gaming
One of the few left that isn't an empty wasteland of a few stores. They are pretty full and most times I shop they are busy.
Great CAR WASH service from Optimus carwash in the UNDERGROUND Parking lot “O” . OPEN Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm
This is a nice place just to take a stroll. They have good variety of stores and food places. Has a lot of parking space
This mall was nice. I'm not used to outside malls, but this one was nice. It didn't have my favorite store though.
I enjoyed the Target Store cuz it had two floors and buy some toys for my grandchildren plus you can get covid too
Different than it was when I was growing up!! I miss the olden days, May Company, Bullocks, Montgomery Wards, etc.
Decided to visit outback steak house. It was good food, and the server was excellent. Parking is always a hassle.
It's so awesome that Amazon has hub lockers here at the mall! Wow!these damn lockers showing up everywhere....
Went to AMC For a night at the movies, then late night eating a Cob salad at Ruby's dinner both were great.
Nice little outdoor plaza with a Target and Nordstroms Rack and Macy Home store being the main stores there
Nice small mall. Quick in and out. Has some outdated stores. But has a few good ones like bath and body.
Yee-haw!! The shopping is off the hook, like your grandson who gets the oil changed in his rental car.
So many stores soooo many options. You can shop while enjoying the outside air and or ☀️ …
Little change in scenery.....away from Yuma for a little bit.....gotta do it every now and then
We go there all the time it's a great mall. We go to the Bounce World then shop at mall after
I haven't been to this mall in like 10 20 years. It's still almost the same but a lot slower
Winner, 356 Korean BBQ! We've eaten Korean all over the place and this one was exceptional!
Very open and has many shops! Plus the food and restaurants we magnificent, will go again!
Only visited Old Navy and Marshall's. Parking was a pain just breathe and have patience.
Beautiful place to shop, great atmosphere and perfect place to watch a movie …
Great mall, awesome stores! Sandbox VR (Virtual Reality) was amazing. So much fun !
I think everyone in San Diego shops at this mall on Lyft issue here is parking.
Went to see a matinee movie ! Love emptyish theaters and ayce popcorn …
I went to play VR games, and it was one of the best experiences I had
Beautiful mall, I love the upbeat music when you touring the stores.
Outdoor mall with a handful of stores. AMC here is pretty decent.
