It's extremely easy to miss your train because whoever designed this station decided to put the single entrance as far away from each car park as possible. Not to mention the entrance itself leads to the end of the platform, so you end up walking over 250m just to get off the platforms if you are at the wrong side. The bus bays are poorly designed as well, with only a single entrance and exit for them meaning you end up circling the station before your bus can even get there, despite there being the perfect opportunity to put bus bays on Mitcham Rd itself. That's before you realise how depressing it is waiting in a grey concrete trench because colour is banned from all architecture nowadays. The toilets aren't cleaned often enough either, and are pretty disgusting. I didn't bother checking out the cafe or waiting room as I really don't want to waste time in a station as garbage as Mitcham.

23rd October 22 at 9am. When and got a new Myki as old one was expiring. Walk up to window said hello good morning he just looked at me no Hello no smile just looked so grumpy said thank you and goodbye to him. Jesus Christ it cost nothing to smile or say hello if your job is so unhappy leave and don't work there it's not really that hard to make a customer feel welcome with a Hello or a smile won't be going back to this station for Myki stuff. I love when you treat someone nice and they have no respect all I'm going to say to you bloody smile you sourpuss

I returned from the city in the afternoon and found a highly aggressive and irate woman occupying the Mitcham station office on 11 Sep around 5 PM. Her behavior was unacceptable, as she spoke to me rudely due to my missed touch-on, resulting in the gate closing on me. She should face consequences for her actions.

One of Melbourne's first big level crossing removal projects back in 2016/17. The job took a lot longer than what they can get done now. But the result remains the same, fine quality & Australian built. Still shows a moder sleek design, set to be a monument for years to come. Go Trains

Remarkable industrial design with secured car parking monitored 24/7 by security cameras. Extremely well lit and frequent police patrols make this station a safe place to meet, regardless of the time of day. Mobile reception on the platforms is lackluster.

The guy at the Mitcham station office at 9am on 5 October needs to be fired. I've never seen or heard someone behave so threatening and aggressive to a customer (who simply asked a basic question about the balance on their card.)

It's been updated and still feels new but not my favorite station, probably because there were design ramifications to get it under the road to remove the level crossing. Pretty dull and bleak look but it does what it needs to.

This Station has not been thought out very well. Just look at the weather cover, it's not there to keep you dry, it is purely cosmetic, not to mention the wet steps when it rains and there are slippery. Well designed, not

Staff members are always helpful and friendly trains are mostly on time it's also great to see pso's for safety reasons and yes I believe they are following covid-19 safety and clean

nice modern design but give yourself a bit of time cause everything is so far apart. you also have to walk to the end of the platforms to get reception?

Hardly any cover in winter from rain and wind. You'll be pressed to find a car park on a weekday anytime after 7:30am so have a backup plan.

They probably have scammed sround $10 of me. The myki machine takes your money but doesnt add it up to your balance. Fix this please.

A modern train station with decent signage, facilities, and anything else you might need. Close by to Mitcham shops and bus stops.
