I met my cousin as she was passing through town... Otherwise I would have not gone because of my last experience.. Took over 35 minutes to take our order. (their order.. ) Had to ask three times for a glass of water.. Food was excellent... Service was lacking... Asked for a finger bowl for their ribs.. She did not want to bring one... She finally did and spilled it everywhere... Including my seat and my dress.. Time before I took my kids and a bunch of their friends after their football game for all-you-can-eat ribs. We drove by and they always said... Mom we have to come try their all you can eat ribs... So we did... I ordered something else as it would have been a waste for me. My son said Mom... You have to try this bar b cue sauce... It's delicious. So he put one rib and I mean 1 singular rib with meat on only the one side on my plate to try... It was less than a bite.. The waitress came over and told my 15-year-old son that that is not allowed and is considered stealing. I apologized and said he only wanted me to try the bar b cue sauce. It was nothing more than a morsel not big enough for a mouse to eat... She said I don't care... I felt horrible as it was not only his first time going but his first serving of ribs... :( I could not apologize enough to my son... Needless to say I never took my family back... My bill was over $400 and they treated us like garbage!

First, the menu had a very small selection beyond burgers and pork ribs. I feel the kids menu has a broader selection then the regular menu. They only have one option for a beef rib (which I ordered) and I was fairly impressed with it. (32.99$ before tax) They also offer a “Chicago style” cook for your steak (which isn’t listed on the menu) And in my experiences its hard to find any restaurant in winnipeg that will do it “Chicago style”. Unfortunately I have to rate 2 stars due to the quality of the food and service. I was appalled by the service (drinks took 20 minutes to arrive after ordering when the restaurant was only half full, waitress had not took any dirty plates during the entire meal which left us with a full table of dishes the entire meal) Fortunately the manager had seen our frustration and offered us 50% off our entire meal, and two free full sized deserts to take home. The manager (Ronda) is extremely polite and I wish the entire staff had as much respect for customers as she does. They also frequently hire young waitresses with little-to-none experience which reflects in your overall experience here being difficult. Be patient if you plan to eat here and do not expect high quality food. I would not eat here again based up price and service quality.

After traveling for almost 2 weeks and then jumping right back into work, we had no energy to cook tonight. Once seated, our server Raj was fantastic! As someone who works in customer service, I can grasp being busy and not being able to devote your full attention to someone, but Raj was above and beyond for us (and everyone seated near enough to overhear). We decided to try this location again, after a most frustrating visit last month. I had previously spoken to the manager, who apologized and handled the situation, and promptly offered us a free appetizer for returning to give them a chance again. Tonight, I simply asked Raj about what starter option (in case some weren't included) and was responded with " I will look into the file but regardless, I will make it happen! Any app you want, I will be sure you get it! Would you mind sharing some of what your last experience was, so I can be sure it doesn't happen again?" If you ask me, my faith was restored, right there. Raj, if you read this, hat's off to you my friend! 10/10 service!

Good food for the price. I've had the chicken burrito bowl and it's tasty. Lots of food. It's always just been lukewarm. Not sure if it's intended to be but I eat it that way because I'm hungry. My husband likes the ribs, says they are awesome! The offer for a free appetizer is kinda sad because you don't get to pick any appetizer from the menu even though they are similar priced. We sat on the bar side the last couple of visits and the service was decent but they obviously do not have enough servers. That bar person is way overworked and does not get any kind of break. Montana's was just okay, don't come in with high expectations, really. It was great for a family night out, but slow. We went at the tail end of dinner rush, and we were there still till about 9pm when we were sat at 730. From ordering apps to the table, it took 30 mins, and mains took another 30ish. Their antojitosa ans Kapow shirmp are really good. My wife got their mac n cheese, which unfortunately was really bland. I got a violently unseasoned fajita platter, which I was kind bummed, as I was hoping it would be really well seasoned, it was tasteless. This is the price I pay for not sticking ro ribs. Would I come again? Yes, but I really only recommend their ribs and wings. Any other main, you're wasting your money.

Worst experience ever!! Where do I begin?? We were there for 2.5 hours. We waited between 20 and 30 min for our appetizers. 1 salad and 16 S&P wings. Food Runner came out with our meals and got them mixed up AND didn't even 'run' them to the guests. We had to pass them down from one end of the table to the other end! Shrimp wasn't cooked properly for steak toppers. Mushroom topper wasn't correct when it came out as well. Bills at the end of the night were sent back 4 times to get it correct!!!!??!! Since it was still wrong, it was paid and we had to leave. Couldn't handle it anymore!! Staff were rude and GM Rhonda was even worse. She didn't even let patrons speak of the lousy experience. Foul language was used out of frustration not at her, although she accused it was. Bathroom was disgusting as well!! Just gross. NEVER GO HERE. READ the reviews.. they're all the same.

New Years to bring in 2023 after the MB Moose hockey game what to do what to do. On the way home before we went out separate ways my girlfriend Melanie ‘n I decided to go out for dinner, why not. Once our food arrived we laughed, glad no one else joined us otherwise we would have to get a bigger table. Our servers were top notch. Friendly and fast. We had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, the drinks were cold, but the service was abov and beyond. Raj was friendly, attentive, and prompt. We didnt wait for a thing, Raj took our drink order and the drinks hit the table within minutes. Raj took our food order, the food was in front of us before our drinks were a quarter gone. I had ordered all you can eat ribs, and a moment didnt pass where there werent ribs in front of me. Come in on a wednesday and ask for Raj, you wont be disappointed.

2 people at my table had there steaks over cooked. i ordered a 16 oz but got something much smaller than anyone else at the table. i mentioned to our server that i had not received my side dishes twice and never got them. fortunatly it was a company event so other than disapointment it cost me nothing and we all had a laugh on how much you can screw up a table for seven. cant wait to hear the stories from the other tables. word to the wise dont go there when its busy.

Fantastic food and service! We had recently had a disappointing date night at a nearby restaurant and decided to give Montanas a shot. We were immediately greeted with smiling faces. Came here March 17 during a really busy St. Patricks day. The restaurant was really busy with so many people but I guess its expected on a Friday night. There was a large group that night who were completely awful to the staff there and would not stop cursing. I had my 2 kids with me and we could hear everything. They were an older group too which is so sad to see them behaving so gross towards people serving them. I thought the manager handled it really well considering how awful they were. I always rated montanas as #1 my last dining experience let me down. The service was poor the sirloin stake was perfectly cooked but not sirloin just a piece of meat. The stake knife had no teeth so making hard to cut my food. Ceasar salad was drowned in sauce and had lettuce hearts in salad. Onion rings were white and soggy. Good food. The atmosphere was a little loud, but that's Montanas. We went there for my niece's 13th birthday. The waitress, Sam, was very attentive, except I just had water to drink, but it wasn't until the end of my meal that I got a refill, and even then, I had to ask. They’ve become very cheap and greedy. They cut down on their portion size quite a bit. Same portion size as a McDonald’s burger meal. Might as well spend 10$ a McDonald’s meal instead of 30$ here. Barely any fries and the burger was the same size as a McDonald’s chicken burger. The server was excellent. Did not have to wait long for anything. Very polite. Only went for drinks and some appetizers. The nachos were nothing to rave about. The amount of chips they gave barely had any toppings on them. The toppings were just on the top. Left 50% of the chips at least. Also had the spinach dip and the ratio to chips was maybe 70/30. Will definitely not be going back to this restaurant again. Edit. The only positive thing I like is the management does follow up with reviews.

Jesse was our waiter. He was very attentive without overdoing it. The food as usual was great. However, we were standing at the entrance desk for a few minutes. No one came. I saw some workers at the back talking. I went over and asked if anyone was going to seat. Another worker by the bar counter took care of us. There should be someone at the front during the busy meal times. We arrived about 515 pm on a Tuesday.

I came in on a busy Friday night and was served by Jacquelyn. She was honestly the best server I have ever had. She was extremely attentive and went way beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Haven't been here in 15 years. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Drinks were great. The beer was great. The wings really amazed us. Kids loved it, Marcus our server was friendly and attentive. The corn bread is ok (homemade is superior) but it was the only swing and miss of the evening. We will be back soon.

Met with friends.chickenwith country gravy, fish and chips, ribs and loaded baked potato. Drinks were excellent as well. Presentation of the meals looked very good,we all dug in and was very satisfying. Even ordered Xtra cornbread to take home! More

Brit was our server and she was great. The upside down writing skills she had for putting her name on our table sheet was top notch. Very pleasant dining experience at this location all-around.

My work had our Christmas party at Montanas; our server Marcus was wonderful! When it came to the bill there was a little confusion on our part and the servers which we were working out.

Service here has always been excellent. No complaints there. Food tastes good. No complaints there. But... I feel like since they revamped their menu over the pandemic the serving sizes

Love going to montanas with my family! It's got great kid's menu as well appetizer menu. Steak and ribs are delicious and their shrimp appetizer is to die for! Decent burgers too!

KIRSTY was excellent. The food took a long time but was very good. 2 rib dinners, a fajita dinner, the chicken and gravy. Plus churros. But those took an exceptionally long time.

Been here a couple times recently. Always had great service and great food! Waitresses are very helpful and friendly. Good comes out fast and fresh! Would definitely recommend!!

The 7oz sirloin was amazing and the onion rings were incredible!!! The loaded baked potato wasn't anything special. Good food, decent price. I'd visit again.

Still sitting here ordered the all you can eat ribs prob is they give you a small portion and when you want more it takes forever which is a crock.
