Due to the progressing growth in the area Mooney ponds community deserve a new train station.Pedestrian accesses need to be fix specially on working and sporting events days it really does get busy, there's no toilets lacking of rain covers on both sides,narrowy platforms,looks a bit old but they kept it tidy and clean and still looking good and strong today great location with entire shopping centre at the door step Mooney Valley horse racing 20 minutes away and more important places to connect from here great services with public transport trams and buses connects from here.

Moonee Ponds station is one of the oldest passenger stations on the metro network. It has a waiting room on Platform 1 for passengers heading to Flinders Street Station. There are also plenty of myki recharge machines in the station. The station has a connecting bus service. It takes around 7-8 minutes to walk to the nearest Tram Stop (Tram 59 and 82). The station does not have toilet facilities (although there is a toilet sign).

There was coffee stand in the station and they give away some free warm drinks (coffee and tea) for the passenger. Very simple, i got coffee and milk. It made my day! Thank you

Great place, I once saw a tiny Asian lady trying to pick up diahorrea from her dog that was the same size as her with a small plastic bag. It didn't end well

Great station, nice atmosphere. It was quite dirty and unwelcoming and the toilets are inaccessible.

Last visit was six years back. Improved the place I could not find places I know totally different.

I like the architecture of the station at least, I think pedestrian access could be improved a lot.
