"Our love goes out to Morris and Heath, a local cafe who are located in Hoppers Crossing! They serve up a near flawless French toast - crusted in corn flakes (yum) and surrounded in coconut coulis (yummm) The white chocolate ganache, although very complimenting was too large and thick a serving and sadly, we had to leave some behind"
Went here for lunch with 3 pensioners yesterday. Firstly they refused a booking because we didn't have at least 5 people in our group. Last time we were left waiting for a table because we didn't book, so we didn't want that to happen again. Thankfully it didn't, there was plenty of room inside. Three of us ordered the same meal (the lunch bowl), which was a bowl of salad with brown rice and avocado. Two of the orders had fried chicken for the choice of meat, one had felafel. The other lady had the noodle bowl and loved it. I dont expect much, I'm not Gordon Ramsay, but in the past our meals have always been excellent, great quality, and full of flavour, and we've always had great service. Meals arrived reasonably fast, it was tiny, and looked like it was literally presented for a child who liked their food in compartments... It was only when we were almost finished eating I realised that only one of us received avocado on ours. We then confirmed with the waitress it was not an add on extra charge by whoopsie on the menu - nope, it was supposed to be on all 3 bowls. The brown rice was cold, and tasted like it was from a microwave packet rather than prepared on site fresh that morning. (had the same texture of oil on it to stop it sticking in the sachet - gross) For $24 per bowl, maybe I expected more as in the past we have had wonderful meals here. This bowl was literally just segments of rice, lettuce, tomato, and some beans, assembled around the plate, with a couple of triangle pieces of crispy bread, and the tiny pieces of fried chicken... Not even worth paying $12 for in my opinion, there was nothing at all special - not even any effort in presentation. Plus missing something that was intended to be on it, half an avocado. My coffee, on the other hand, was excellent. This review is based on how they handled it. They did not offer a discount. There was no apology as such, rather a "I can't believe they didn't put the avocado on 2 of the 3" from the staff member. They were not busy at the time, perhaps they have changed chef... Not sure, but the menu was different. When I mentioned to the lady on paying that we should not have to pay full price for the 2 incomplete meals, she said she had no ability on the till to remove part of the price... There was no offer for anything to acknowledge the error... It was a "too bad" kind of feel from them and I didn't push it, because I should not need to. Based solely on their handling of the issue, I will not return with my friends. Very disappointing effort here by the M&H team.

Very good size Shakshouka served with toast. The Shakshouka ingredients similar to Chilli corn cane, very interesting combination but replace minced meat with silced sausages. The 2 eggs are runny inside, perfect flavors when mixed together. I would like to have more toast pieces This Shakshouka is not very thick, satisfaction and light meal. The only improvement is it will be better if they serve with cast iron pan instead of normal cooking pan. I can taste the metal flavors near finished the dish. The chicken in the burger is crunchy outside, moist inside, very good. Lots of different veggies very healthy burger. Be aware they have surcharge for weekend and public holiday. Staff are very busy, but service still ok. Can order and paid as self service, very efficient. Lots of tables dine in. This cafe is at the corner of the shopping centre, near Coles. Very convenient location and plenty of parking. Also walking distance from train station.

This was my go to place for a while since moving around the area. However I'm SUPER disappointed at the menu changes. Plus increase prices that aren't worth the food! Why they needed to try and revamp a menu that was already really well done is beyond me. I always get smash avo as I loved the bread they used, the amount of avo you would get and the eggs were included in the price. Now you pay almost $3 to add an egg, the bread is pathetic and way less avo. Only half the bread has avo on it and the other half filled with tomatoes. Same goes for the greens bowl. Before fresh cooked veggies, clean and seasoned. Now they're all chopped up in an overwhelming dressing. You need a palate cleanser to finish it. I've given them a few goes now with new menu, and now not interested in coming back.

I enjoyed breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I recommend getting there before 9am to get a table without waiting - we tried the weekend before but there was a big queue waiting for people to leave in order to get a seat. We arrived around 8.30 and got straight in. They had a high chair for my child and space for the pram. We got coffee, muffin and croissant. Recommend the filter coffee, mocha and white choc raspberry muffin heated up! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Will come back

Still a beautiful dish to share (if you weren’t already sold on the cornflake crusted brioche) and may we add aesthetic too Our savoury moments were with their Chilli Scrambled Eggs and Waffle Pulled Pork Benny, both amazing as they are, no room for improvement needed!

Very nice brunch spot! Service very friendly and professional. Seating area quite spacious. Dishes are absolutely delightful. Tasty but not overwhelming. Portion size is perfect, not too much but not too less. Highly recommend their calamari salad. The salad was surprisingly enjoyable! Tasty, crunchy, and very refreshing Their coffee was in the smooth side

Wheelchair accessibility
No steps, spacious enough for a a wheelchair to move around.
They served me cold food twice. The first one came and it was icy cold, told them about it and they said will make a new one. After less than 5 minutes, the so call 'newly made' are ready. The second one came and it is obviously they just microwave the meat as the bun is still cold not even warm. The meat just warm on the outside and still cold inside. Very dissapointed altho the taste of the whole dish is great.

I am a regular at Morris & Heath & love the coffee and service. Unfortunately, the menu has changed recently and I am sad to say it is disappointing. I had the fritters and they were not like the old menu at all. They were deep fried and in the shape of small balls. Not the healthy dish you hope for and when you compare to previous dishes it is disappointing. Please take this feedback and consider going back to the excellent menu you once had as it was then worth the extra you paid.

I've had a lot of English breakfasts in my life but nothing came close as outstanding as this thingo. The breakfast was unique, authentic, perfectly matured presentation. Was very happy with the service although I was very little dissapointed the fact as I just finished my plate and the service girl came and took it straight out to the back. I wish she could have left me five more minutes to properly finish including the salad. Nevertheless, it was fantastic, I'd love to come back again a million times.
Wasn’t expecting such a nice place in a shopping centre! I had the mushroom heaven - the mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the goats cheese and kale complemented the dish really well. Forgot there was truffle oil in it as I couldn’t taste it at all. Would have been great if it came with 2 slices of toast instead of 1. Service was also great here! Lovely people :))

What a pleasant surprise. Mum took me here for brunch and I wasn't disappointed with the outcome. I felt like something sweet so I ordered the orange and butter scotch waffles with this gourmet fairy floss and I was impressed by the balance of flavour. Definitely not too sweet and I was keen to finish what was on the plate. Morris and Heath make great coffee too and I could not fault the mocha they made for me. Definitely hit the spot. Would definitely come back here to try something savoury.
One of the hidden gems in Hoppers Crossing. Had a birthday breakfast with family, I couldn't have asked for any more than what we got. Beautiful breakfast & lunch selection paired with awesome coffee, and there you have our next go-to place.

From when we first walked in, we had to wait long to be seated. On the top of that, the food they present is not what it looks like on the picture of the menu. Additionally, the holiday surcharge they put was insane. We have been quite disappointed with the service they have provided us with, we have been served food with no cutlery ( has to request and wait for the cutlery). It was my first time being here, surely it will be my last.

As a regular here, they never disappoint with their coffee, menu and service! Their menu description is as it says and never disappoints. Great coffee, lovely staff and a good menu. Baked Eggs will not disappoint, it is jam packed with flavour and ingredients. Best I've had out of all the breakfast places I've been to in Melbourne. I've ordered this dish on 4 separate occasions and it's always been remarkable.

Almost perfect! Started off with an oat Chai, so amazing. A good blend. Had eggs on toast with bacon and chorizo. Paid extra for the bacon and chorizo. A little disappointed in the quality. Paid $5.50 each extra. It all did taste quite delicious. The stay were friendly, welcoming and reasonably attentive. Part of the bigger shopping centre. Heaps of parking.

Food is ok BUT the manager there is worst. It was a very hot day and we requested to open the umbrella BUT the stubborn manager refused. He instead offered us to do take away for our breakfast. We explained that we have a small dog and kids too so we can’t sit inside but that stubborn bossy manager refused. Worse Management.

Cozy corner cafe serving up some pretty decent brekkie and brunch menu - indoor and al fresco dining available. Coffee was served up just right, quite good actually. Good portion size. Enjoyed the savory waffle benny, but don't let it sit out too long otherwise it may turn soggy from the juices/gravy from the pulled pork. The fritters in the M&H medley was delicious. Mid range pricing, prompt service, ample parking.
Ordered Scrambled Eggs & asked if they had Onion..yep of course..then asked if the Chef could Fry some to have with my Eggs..after deliberating for a bit, they said No..!! Couldn't believe it..how bloody Lazy..or are the Eggs pre-made..? I even offered to go Cook for them...I actually felt embarrassed, for Them..terrible service sheez....how hard to fry some onion
We ordered the Eggs on Toast, the M&H Medley, a cappucino and hot chocolate. Perfect breakfast.... Yummmmy ; )

Morris and Heath is my go to stop for a quick and nice brunch with a great selection of options that never seems to disappoint. This time I tried the Zucchini and corn fritters and they were absolutely delicious, that didn't stop me from stealing some of my partner's smashed avo. Highly recommended.

Usually very consistently good food, great menu, service and coffee. Though, they must have hired some hopeless kitchen staff to cover over the Christmas period as the food was very slow, bland, poached eggs were hard, portions were small and items were missing from both dishes. Disappointing M&H, just close next Christmas to save your reputation.
Good cafe with amazing coffee, first time being here very impressed with menu and taste. Moroccan lamb was excellent and toast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and definitely be back to try other menu options
A great brunch place for locals. Visited Melbourne and this brunch place has a very nice atmosphere. I ordered the mango splice bowl, which was very tasty and refreshing. Staff is nice and menu is unique.
Where do I begin! The ambience! Very cool and trendy. Professional and attentive staff! The food!! Omg! So delicious! Definitely recommend and will be back to try more dishes! Great price too!! Stop by!!

Good food but expensive. Used to go there almost every week but don't go anymore since there has been a surcharge of 10% on Sundays. Like what is with this surcharge??
