Disappointed with the service. Probably new staff still learning. First the coffee took a while to come, but with insufficient milk. Took at least 15 mins to get more milk by which time the coffee was cold, and the milk was in a cup, not a pitcher. My wife’s Laska arrived but with no spoon in the cutlery. The fellow with the pepper grinder came out with the food but disappeared even before the food was laid on the table. Our waitress was not to be seen. Finally we managed to flag down a waitress who was very good - said the servers had forgotten to get a plate with the spoon and sauce for the Laska; she also got us the pepper and other condiments. The Laska was good. They didn’t have the tuna poke. My Thai chicken salad was not good - hardly Thai. Other guests had calamari and lettuce wraps which they liked. The brownie for dessert was okay. Didn’t get the value for what we spent.

Very disappointing visit. First of all the place was vertically empty short of the staff who were more interested in chatting at the bar than worrying about their minimal customers. It was obvious several of them had finished their shifts and were Not wearing masks!! We saw them go to the back area and return w/o masks! Our happy hour snacks included dry ribs and 1 lb honey garlic wings, a beer and a pop They were dried out and tasteless. The waitress never once came to see how our food was. I think she was distracted visiting with her coworkers at the bar. It was only when we asked for our bill that she suddenly was very chatty inquiring about our evening plan. She was completely oblivious to the fact that we left 70% of our snacks. Might as well taken our $45. and burnt it. I went to Moxie's to celebrate my brother's birthday. It was Wednesday early afternoon so there were no people except us in the dining area. We ordered chicken mushroom pasta and sirloin $ shrimp but the food didn't came out for 40 min. When we started to question what happened to our food, the manager came and sincerely apologized that they've been missing our order. She apologized repeatedly, suggested to provide us a free appetizer and ensure that our food will be ready in 10 min. We were not in a rush so we said yes and waited. Food (of course, with the appetizer) did really came in 10 min and the taste was absolutely amazing! Honestly, it was so good that washed out lil disappointment we had. Even more to be surprised, when we asked for the bill after, the manager came and said she cleared our bill with an apology again. We were very impressed how professional they were and willing to visit in another occasion, for sure!

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed! We were dressed very casually, and my spouse came from work so he was in his work gear, but we were so hungry. From the moment we walked in, we felt most welcomed! We were seated in Peyton's section and she did not meet our expectations, she EXCEEDED them. From suggestions on what to order for dinner, to the presentation of the food and our drink glasses never empty, Peyton provides every guest with excellent customer service. This girl was slammed with tables, but she took a moment to reach out to all her guests to ensure everyone was having an enjoyable and positive experience. I came here with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. It was a Friday evening so it was really busy but we made a reservation so our table was ready for us when we arrived. I would suggest making a reservation on a weekend. I have dietary restrictions so I had emailed the general manager, Nancy in advance to see if they could accommodate me. She was able to create a special meal for me that was delicious. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was very friendly and attentive considering how busy it was. The food and the service were great. My stake was perfectly cooked and juice. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. We noticed an incompatible smaller portion of mushrooms in one of our orders, but the Chef proactively served a new one without any request from us. The kitchen is a little bit noisy and can be heard from the restaurant area. It was my birthday celebration, I had a reservation mentioning that, and the server asked about the occasion. However, it seems the restaurant really doesn't have a treat or any special thing for these occasions. Anyway, the overall experience was very good.

Horrible food experience. My boyfriend and I came there to earlier this week. We ordered Mango Chicken, Beef Vindalo and beef nachos. Unsure of what was not cooked but we received food poisoning. Ended up in the hospital for a few days. I’m pregnant and extremely upset my bf is even more upset that we got sick as it could cause alt of complications. I tried to reach out today as I’m now home feeling better. Not able to reach anybody and cannot leave a voicemail. Sadly it was an awful experience and we’ve eaten here plenty of times. Wish we could reach somebody. Spent quite a bit and not reaching anybody was a horrible experience. Won’t come back!

Our meals were very tasty, but they were somewhat tainted by the irritable, impatient attitude of our server. Not sure if they were having a bad night, or if they actually had some kind of issue with how we looked/ordered or whatever, but they really just did not look like they wanted to be there or deal with us whatsoever. Only really smiled at or was decently nice to us when the bill came around (big surprise!). The old location on Regent definitely had better hospitality.. not sure if I will ever come back to this location.

I had called at the beginning of June, looking to book for a party of ~20 people for a dinner/reception for my wedding about 3 weeks later. They booked me in no problem at all. Every other restaurant that I had called either gave me no answer or flat out said no. Moxie's came in the clutch. Our server was fantastic, he kept us well fed and hydrated and with 4 kids that also came in tow (between the ages of 3-10), he had no problem getting orders from them too! The Loaded Burger and Blackened Mahi Mahi were both good to the last bite. I specially enjoyed the variety of flavors in the fish dish. I would have preferred a denser bread for the burger. The Rosemary, pomegranate drink was fine but not great at least to my taste. The bitterness was overwhelming. And the service was courteous and professional. The ambiance was nice and it was fairly quiet regardless of the other guests presence. I was told though that the coffee was not as fresh as people in our party would have preferred which was replaced with a cup of freshly brewed one so not much of complaint.

Even though it was warm outside we sat on the patio and had a wonderful meal. The service was top-notch even though we were not sitting inside the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a nice meal and great service. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely love to d our dinner tonight. We ordered soup and salad for apps. Mains included the chicken alfredo pasta and a beyond meat burger with a side of truffle fries. Everything was delicious. The soup was a spicy Thai soup with chicken and it was DELICIOUS. For dessert, we ordered the sticky toffee pudding and it was massive. Overall, the food was 10/10. Our server, Ava was absolutely wonderful. Excellent team, great service, perfect atmosphere. It's probably my favorite restaurant now. Thanks Ava and team.

Wow what a disappointment. Prices have gone through the roof. The total menu is not as posted. There is more beer and liquor on the menu than food. They’ve removed most all my favourites, no more sticky toffee pudding, no more of than yummy chicken. Actually it’s almost like a bar menu now. Very sad, won’t be back. If they need business the prices are way out of line. Returned after the manager contacted me and sent a gift certificate, sad the chicken won’t be back but had pasta with shrimp, was really good, bit of heat but not to much. Would return, thanks

Went with large party of 12. Was not busy and food arrived in reasonable time. Everyone who ordered steaks (half of us approx.) were hugely disappointed. One was stone cold, but they all were quite chewy and didn't taste good. Half rack ribs orders looked much smaller than actual half of the full rack some people ordered. And when you child says that mashed potato in school is better tasting than in this Restaurant - that obviously is not where you want to pay a lot of money to eat.

We were visiting from Calgary and I hadn’t seen my daughter for over a year and a half. It was a Saturday night and it was hard to find a restaurant that didn’t have a two hour wait or could (or would) accommodate 5 people. Except Moxie’s on Kenaston. They went above and beyond to find us a booth and the service was absolutely amazing! Our server Mercedes was outstanding and the food was top notch! We will definitely be coming back to dine! Well Done! Kudos to you Moxie’s!

We ordered through Uber and delivery was good but our food was not. Both of our ribeye steaks came very blackened, dry and tough. That’s really hard to do with rib-eye. One order also came with the wrong side. This was very disappointing. The veg were sparse so really it was most inedible and a sad waste. The restaurant was notified via ubereats as well as a complaint I submitted online. We were never contacted, there was nothing from moxies and it’s been over 6 weeks.

2018. Been a regular here a few years back, then stopped after a bad experience. Tried again. Like how they redid the patio. Service was ok, waitress continued disappearing on us, not bringing cutlery or napkins for 10 minutes (after bringing a meal). 2021. Service was great. Not too much but there when needed. Food was great as well. Overall positive experience. 2 stalls in women’s bathroom have problems with door (one has broken handle, another one has Brocken lock)

We had the privilege of attending the early reopening of Moxies. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was phenomenal and the food drinks and dessert were delicious. We will definitely all be visiting again.

I ordered a Blackened Chicken Burger which is basically an Original Chicken Sandwich Meal from Burger King except on steroids. It was fantastic. Interior was very nice, ambient lighting was nice as we went the evening when it was not very busy. Booth seats are plentiful and well cushioned. They did not serve drinks with straws which was a nice surprise. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. Really Good dining experience.

Service was great had some issues with our food. Had been missing parts of our meal. Some had to be sent back for being undercooked. The manager was happy to have food replaced and removed from our bill. The only issues we had were from the kitchen side. Can't say anything bad about the front of house.

The service was great - met a waiter who guided me to my seating. Then a kind waitress dropped by with the menu and give me an extra time to browse more for a drink. I enjoyed their new menu - the drinks and the food. I had pineapple basil margarita & Lemon basil salmon. Very tasty and light. I ended the evening with coffee and white chocolate brownie with French vanilla. Very relaxing there.

What a great place for lunch or dinner! I went here with my three sisters today and we all loved our delicious meals. There are great meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. My tuna salad was superb. They have a great beer list, with some very tasty local craft beers. And leave room for a very tasty flour-less chocolate cake with mint ice cream. Mmmmm! Had a great le burger week burger here. Probably the most unique and awesome burger offering that I’ve seen! Great wine on the happy hour menu and the service was great (thanks Mercedes!). Oh yeah…and the white chocolate brownie for dessert brought back the memories…it’s a staple here, don’t miss it!

This location is my favourite to hangout with friends. It is convenient located at Kenaston Common where you do shopping and dinning. The chief at this location always cook my steak exactly as I asked. The newly introduced salmon salad is the new addition and it’s very tasty and good for the summer.

Love the food here but it's understaffed. Waiters are trying their best though and the receptionist even helps to wait tables at times. Kudos to them.
