"Their Coco Granola was the best granola I have ever had"
Mum and I both ordered the Mr. T burger with chips and it was quite tasty. I also had a vanilla shake which tasted really yummy but I just wish it was bigger, or at least I wish they had options for larger sizes. Customer service was professional and prompt. A small cute cafe located on the corner of high street; small yes, but filled with people because it seems to be a crowd pleaser. Thank you for the lovely experience. I will definitely be back in the future. Update: I went back again, this time round with four of us. I ordered the tasting plate which had a little bit of everything (mushrooms, egg, bacon, waffles). Very interesting flavours, I wish it was larger. Definitely a platter only at a suitable size for one person. The waffles had some liquidy lemon curd topped on it, which was quite tasty and sweet. The mushrooms were well-cooked, and the caramelised bacon was on-point. Update: I went back again, with four of us. I think the menu had been updated and I was really keen to get the Japanese fried chicken and mayo on a waffle. Unfortunately, though, their deep fryer wasn’t working so I couldn’t even get that dish. Instead, I got the black waffles which were quite tasty. My iced chocolate, however, was subpar and I would’ve liked a larger size, a bit more chocolate flavour, with whipped cream and drizzled chocolate on top. I’m also wondering why they change their menu so frequently. Just when I start to like a menu item, I come back and the entire menu has been updated and my favourite meal disappears. Bring back the baked eggs n beans, Mr T burger, and the tasting plate!!
Ordered the Southern fried chicken burger and first off the shoestring fries. 10/10. It's like as if they individually fried each potato to perfection before putting it on the plate. It was that good and that consistent from fry to fry. The burger itself was equally as good. Juicy, crunchy and flavourful. Not sure what more you could want from a chicken patty. The slaw was really good. Offered a nice acidity to the overall burger and thank goodness they toasted their buns otherwise it would be a total disaster. Can't fault this dish. Would definitely come back. Also ordered the sriracha maple bacon which was equally as delicious. Wasn't my dish but from tasting there wasn't much fault in it. 10/10
Mr Tucci has a nice view with ceiling high windows and a friendly sitting area. The vibe is great and menu is always changing with great balance of ingredients. Recently the Baked Eggs on the menu was a game changer. The main issue with this place is the slow service and at times staff not attentive. They might stand there chatting by the coffee machine with each other and not take note of a customer needing some help or attention. Once I had to call out loud “excuse me!” several times to get them turn their around. That didn’t even work and I had to walk to the counter. That’s does not fit with a cafe with high standards in delivering the food they deliver.
Used to love coming here, would always get the tasting plate which was a 5 STAR deal for me (3 small samples of 2 mains and 1 dessert) but not sure if the owner's have recently changed hands. The last couple of times I've been the food has been lacklustre. Was keen to try the chicken and waffles when I realised the tasting plate was off the menu (heartbroken) - but by the time they got to me the waffles had become very soggy. This seems to be a common occurence in melbourne cafes - stacking food on top of bread so it looks appealing for a photo, but means zero bread integrity and a mouthful of mush.
Their Coco Granola was the best granola I have ever had. The chocolate muesli with warm strawberry sauce, roasted seeds and soft rubarb. A light, smooth and creamy lemon yogurt brings it all together. With beautifully flavoured fruit to top it off. The coffee is amazing, the best in Glen Iris/Ashburton. The eggs, they cook them anyway you want (sunny side up is the best in my opinion) on any toast. And the extremely nice and patient workers made my day with their smile and manners. The chefs make food in record time, and it still taste amazing. I really do love this place. Great job Mr. Tucci
Wonderful little corner shop of deliciousness! Their coffee is A grade - awesome almond latte via milk lab - and they offer great little bite size treats on display as well as a nice simple selection of breakfast options which isn’t overwhelming or over the top. Just what u need on the weekend, simple. Nice ambience also, not too loud to chat. Great for a weekend morning brekkie catch-up or a drive by takeaway if u got no time to stay a while. Kids love it too, fair few around on w/ends..
Hmmm... very good menu as I the Spinach Omelet, very good concept. The cafeteria is quite good as I liked the light coming from all the windows. Very strategic location with parking near it and few meters from the park. The coffee was great too and the staff makes sure to make everyone happy as well.

A light and airy feel with a sense of space Very clean. Friendly helpful staff with a good sense of humour. They cater to most tastes, vegetarian, vegan etc The food is so fresh with variety. Their bread is delicious. Cakes, exceptional and baked on the premises. Light and tasty not overly sweet. Coffee is full of flavour. I recommend the Eggs Benedict, a slight and delicious twist. Yours served in a timely manner with a smile.
I tried the baked egg with sour dough bread. It was just amazing. The customer service was excellent 10/10. We told them that we want the food spicy, they made the food spicy as well as got so many different spicy sauces to match our taste. I highly recommend this place. Everything the food and the service will be amazing. My favourite breakfast/brunch place in Melbourne.

Like Son of Tucci's and Santucci's before it, the Crea siblings (in what I assume is their third venture) have struck gold again with this gem. Located on the corner of High street and Albion street, this place allows lots of natural light in. The menu is quite similar to Son of Tucci's as well and their coffee as good as ever! I had the baked eggs and was not disappointed! Excellent addition in a great location!
Surprised with the unfriendliness of the staff. I thought they might be having a bad day so tried to understand, but when I saw how they smiled to other customers (westerners and an Indian) I felt this is not right. The way they took order was just impatient and horrible. And there wasn’t even a thank you after I paid. Not only that, lots of bugs flying around while we were there. Very disappointing.
We came here seeing the Broadsheet article and good reviews on Google. However, it was underwhelming. We’re not sure if it has changed over management. We had the Melbourne brekkie and the maple Siracha bacon. But the food was not your standard Melbourne brunch level and the coffee was not the best. Nice staff though!

Great position but food was a little disappointing. I had the siracha maple bacon with avocado which made for a really weird combination. I was expecting maple smoked bacon but got bacon smothered in maple syrup. Very sweet and sickly. Friend had a ruben which looked absolutely amazing but had thick chunks of corned beef with a large amount of gristle. Venue is lovely and coffee was good.
Good ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious food. The only thing I didn't quite like was the amount of coffee I ordered; they didn't ask about the size, and I assumed it was regular. However, when the coffee arrived, it seemed smaller than a regular size. If I had known, I would have definitely insisted on getting a large coffee!

My colleague and I brought 5 coffees and 5 muffins. We google searched the venue and it had a five star review. They didn't even have take away sugar? We all had to throw the coffees out. They were horrible undrinkable. I really dont know what happened. We will not be returning.

Could be a nice spot but, as experienced previously too, tables and chairs not clean - covered in crumbs. Lazy staff noticed me brushing clean the part of the long upholstered bench seat where I sat, but still no effort to wipe down the rest of it before others came to sit. Reuben sandwich was like a salt bomb and not at all enjoyable. Chips were tasty.
Amazing food and great service! Had the tasting plate, and I'm in love with the maple bacon and the waffle. Bacon was cooked very nicely, and the glaze, combined with the avo was just perfect. Waffle had the right mix of sweet, sour and savoury, which I really enjoy ❤ What made things even better was how friendly and attentive the staff were!
From the legends behind Son of Tucci and (formerly) Santucci comes Glen Iris's latest cafe. Just like the venues they have built up before, this is a warm and inviting space, full of natural light, welcoming design, friendly staff, and delicious coffee and food. Put simply, like all their venues, you'll be made feel right at home
Nice local place. It was crowded and a bit hectic, I might enjoy it more sitting against the window as opposed to in the middle. Some fell off their chair, they have weird legs on them. It could be cleaner overall. Food and service was ok.

Great food, wonderful coffee selection and friendly, attentive staff. A simple but perfect recipe. Mr Tucci is a wonderful addition to to the long list of great cafes in Ashburton and holds true to the reputation that the other Tucci cafes have created. Mr Tucci will be a regular family treat. Highly recommended!
A Cafe with nice ambience and expansive windows which have a nice view of the outside. The food was well prepared and presented however when we visited, a few of the items on their small menu list were unavailable due to lack of ingredients, which was disappointing. The service was good and friendly.
In this current economy we are always told to support local and small business. But I will not be supporting Mr Tucci again. 40min wait for our breakfast. One was just a simple kids bacon and scrambled eggs. Service was terrible. One chef to cater for a whole establishment. What a joke.
Coffee is superb and served up with unique and new latte designs each time. The menu is always on point in bringing together different taste combos. I love the support to our local small farms with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Staff is always really nice and friendly
Great place for a catch up! Very nice and clean interior. Friendly staff. Food was awesome too but took awhile even though we were there early and it wasn’t too busy. Smashed Avo, Crab Benedict, Hot Chocolate, Flat White

Lovely small cafe with good food - I had the fritters and my husband had the chicken sandwich. The floor needed a bit of a sweep on the day we visited as there was a lot of food under our table. The prices are reasonable, except for the baby chino which was steep $2.50!
Good place for brunch. But the ambience and sunlight was excellent! Tall ceiling. Glass windows. Could have well added flavour to the delicious pasta and fritters. Their coffee is magnificent.

The Reuben Sandwich is simply delicious. Beef could be sliced a little thinner, but the tastes all work wonderfully well - those zesty pickled flavours with the dreamy, creamy dressing and melted cheese. Hits the spot every time on a cold afternoon.
I ordered 5 coffees for a meeting. They were undrinkable! I think this coffee shop must have changed owners. The dried up dead plant sitting sadly on the shelf is reminiscent of better days. I will never go there again . Terrible coffee
Ordered a take away coffee for my mid morning pick me up. As I stood patiently waiting for my coffee the barista decided to make some designs in the coffees ahead of mine and then spend 5min trying to get the perfect picture for the Mr
Very impressive chicken mushroom pie. Tasty fillings, flaky pastry. 5 stars for the pie

First post-lockdown brekky out and didn't go wrong coming here. Super laid back lovely little cafe. Food was divine - the fritters were amaze. High ceilings and windows make it feel lovely and open too.
Mr Tucci's is a great cafe with very good coffee and lovely staff. Just had morning tea there for my mum's 100th birthday and they made a yummy sour apple tart and very tasty, fresh sandwiches.
This cafe is in a very odd spot (and angular spot). The food was OK and the staff were reasonably nice. Coffee was decent. The chairs can be a hit of a miss depending on where you are sitting.
Nice place , however Worst service we received , may be having a bad day ,very unfriendly service Lady must be having a bad day Good luck

Very friendly staff, good ambiance and interior. A few vegetarian options that were excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Really enjoyed our brunch.will certainly visit again.
Nice open windows - good all round from food, drinks to service. Was a long time fan of santucci’s but with this just around the corner … may have taken the lead. More
For bodybuilders, there are not many varieties, lack of healthy protein, and the environment and coffee are still good.

Great coffee, friendly and punctual service. Slightly limited menu as far as 'classic' breakfast staples are concerned but a really pleasant meal and atmosphere.
I wanted a quick breakfast/ snack before an appointment in the area. Ducked in Mr Tucci and got a banana and chocolate muffin. Home made goodness. Actual joy.
Such a nice cosy cafe with friendly staff and good vibe. Loved my scrambled eggs on toast and latte. Customer service was great and the food was tasty. More

Mr Tucci's friendly and exciting staff with nice cuisine. My client was all smiles about the service and 'yummy' delicaciea available. More grace Tucci.
The most beautiful breakfast I’ve had for long time. Professional staff, fresh and healthy. Highly recommended. Thank you Mr tucci you will see us soon
Best in Glen Iris. Quality service, great coffee by Venez and guest roasters like Wood&Co, and seasonal menu with some great brunch options.
What a pleasant surprise… this would be my favourite chilli scramble of all time!

Coffee is great. High glass windows made it a nice relaxing atmosphere. Skeptical on the Mac and cheese at first but tasted great.
