I give Mr. Rent A Car zero stars. I have dealt with Mr. Rent A Car twice now. I have wanted to rent from them twice. Their service is subpar... They are rude and have no customer service at all. I would not rent from them if they paid me. I would not recommend them to anyone I know. There are so many car rental companies out there. Why would anyone chose them? Their service is superficial...They "cater" to certain clientel.. I was not one of their type of clientel...The only one nice working there was this gentleman called Brent. He is very hardworking and Brent is kind polite and sincere. Leonard is nice also kind and polite. There is more to say........This business is very shady and is run by poor management and staff.. I see the way they treat their employees.... totally inhumane treatment.. If you are not rich or dress like you are rich or drive a luxury expensive call.... they treat you like garbage.

I had an overall fantastic experience renting with Mr. Rent A Car. The service was great as I was able to pick up my car two days in advance, and the drop-off process afterwards also went smoothly. The rental car itself exceeded my expectations too, since the car was clean and comfortable to drive with. They also upgraded my vehicle to a compact suv for free as they were out of compact sedans. I’d definitely recommend renting from here for quality cars, customer service, and competitive pricing. :)

Mr. Rent a Car is undoubtedly the best rental car place in Vancouver. They have all types of cars to choose from and the price is the best comparing to other rental car companies! Michael’s service is also impeccable. We already rented car from here 2 times and we got almost brand new cars with only 5000 km in mileage. We are very happy with their cars and services. Highly recommend this place to all people who need rental cars!

Mr. Rent A Car has been my go to car rental for many years now. The rental car is always clean. The staff effectively conveyed the necessary information, making sure I understood the rental terms. No pressure for the additional insurance as I am covered by my credit card insurance, so no up selling at all. I recommend for anyone in need of a hassle-free rental experience!

Upon returning the car I noticed a crack in the plastic bumper element. I did not see it earlier, I did not know how it happen, but I reported it to the office. After checking the car I’ve been told the damage was old. I could easily be tricked into paying money for the extra damage. I really appreciate honesty and would highly recommend to any person!

My car broke down which was a stressful experience, Mr Rent A car rented me a Honda Civic which was a fantastic car to drive. Rental Rate was extremely reasonable. The car is in really good working condition and is clean in and out. I reserved a car at 9 am for one day but arrived an hour late, Michael was very nice to let me return the car the same time I picked it up. Our car broke down on the day were we're supposed to drive home to Alberta and Mr Rent A Car had us in a very nice and new Corolla within 15 minutes of walking through their door, no appointment or anything. Good service, highly recommend to anyone needing a rental vehicle.
