For years my self esteem was at rock bottom, I had a non existing social life and any conversation I had with people was muffled as I spoke with my hand shielding my mouth. Simple solution, get the embarrassing problem of my teeth addressed. How wrong could so many people be.... me sitting in a dentists chair, I don’t think so. I would rather eat broken glass, walk over hot coals or even spend a night. In a room of huntsman spiders. I would even go so far as to slam my nipple in a car door. The word Terrified doesn’t even scratch the surface, At a time of desperation l did my research on hundreds of Dental Surgeries and narrowed it down to the Mulgrave Dental Group and actually made an appointment and took the plunge. 1st Visit I walked in shaking worse than a dog over a tussock to be greeted by the most amazing people who made me feel so comfortable , less anxious and somewhat important. After a short wait in the waiting room it was my turn to enter what I envisaged to be a chamber of horrors was a serine bright room somewhat inviting. I climbed onto the.chair like a timid dog, waiting to be strapped down and given my last rights. Instead I was greeted by a petite beautiful woman who introduced herself as the dentist who was going to turn my life around.. Dr. Diluni. She was nothing short of amazing. She explained all of my options very thoroughly, the procedure, the costing. Not a stone was left unturned. My anxiety level by now was halved. 2nd Visit. It was the day of reckoning, I had taken the medication prescribed, I kept begging for it to kick in. My anxiety level soared to 10 on the Richter scale, there was no turning back now however I was considering it very seriously. I visualised my mouth being violated, stretched, pulled in every direction. It was then the surgery door opened and in walked Sonya, one of the most genuine, caring woman I have ever had the privilege of meeting and gave me the reassuring words I so needed to hear. Dr. Diluni then reinforced them with her soothing words. On your marks... get set....GO My journey of extraction was starting. I was feeling so brave. Every couple of minutes she would ask how I was coping, reassure me again then proceed. The medication I had had kicked in well and truly now and I was basically off with the fairies. I was so relaxed, not a care in the world to the extent she repeatedly had to ask me to open my mouth as I was biting her fingers. Now I ask you, have you ever heard of anything so bizarre. You are having teeth extracted from your mouth and you are completely receptive and relaxed about it. Mission complete. I was still feeling footloose and fancy free and wasn’t in any hurry to remove myself from the chair that once sent chills through my bones. I was presented with a mirror and asked what I thought of my new teeth and smile. I was hesitant, I couldn’t speak OMG who the hell was this peering back at me. All I could do was cry, then cry then cry a bit more. I had an actual smile, a smile that I was so proud of. A smile I hadn’t seen for decades. I couldn’t stop smiling. No more avoiding photos, no more making excuses for not attending functions, no more covering my mouth when I spoke. So to anyone that may have a phobia with Dentists, look no further, I strongly recommend Mulgrave Dental Group If only I had gone earlier, I wouldn’t have wasted so much of my life, missed out on so much. I am fearful of dentists after having some terrifying visits over the years with many many different dentists, I found this practice on facebook lured in with the promise of white teeth, My teeth being stroked daily by red wine and heaps of coffee, and the fact i was overdue to see a hygienist. And 40!! wow i'm really selling myself , Any way in dire need of some help I trekked out to Mulgrave on an unfamiliar stretch of freeway, filled with butterflies and the slight anxiety that it was a facebook so bound to be fake ..I walked into a quaint little corner house on Wanda st into a light filled open plan waiting room, The 2 woman manning the desk where queens making me feel instantly at ease, I sat down to the biggest questionnaire i had ever filled out as a new patient. After a small wait i was lead to the dreaded chair ..... Once again the care, professionalism and knowledge shown to me was incredible, I walked out with a plan and a spring in my step. I had 2 appointments a load of filling 2 lots of deep cleaning and a night guard to stop grinding my teeth. Now i am sleeping better waking up without a sore jaw my mouth feels clean my teeth are whiter and even though i will be paying this for the next 2 years i have no regrets and in fact am looking forward to doing my 3 monthly routine preventative check ups!! This is the dental clinic you need! When I submitted my online enquiry, my teeth were almost ruined because I hadn't seen a dentist in about a decade. (unless I was in unavoidable agony, because I experience phobia and panic attacks) I've never followed through before, as much as I was desperate to save my teeth because I've had really terrible experiences at multiple places. I first spoke with Alexi who is so personable and professional that I booked a consultation with Dr Diluni who's the most empathic, compassionate dentist I've had the pleasure of meeting, and she talked me through my options. Before I knew it I was in the process of getting veneers done, and my lower teeth repaired. Everyone at Mulgrave Dental group checked how I was going throughout the process, every single hygenist there worked on my teeth - I highly appreciated the way each of the ladies treated me and Alexi and Sonia checking up on me throughout the process, it's gone a long way and now I have my smile back and am markedly less afraid of going to the dentist now. Dr Diluni is sincerely a talented artist! My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. Just call or submit a form and take things at your pace!

If you want veneers, do them here. I researched places and debated whether to do it for years before deciding to go with Mulgrave Dental Group and I am really happy with the outcome. Dr Diluni is an outstanding dentist and she took so much care to make sure I was happy with the end result. She listened to everything I said, was attentive and answered all my questions. When it's your teeth and you're making expensive decisions, you want someone you feel confident in...Dr Diluni has so much pride in her work and she goes the extra mile. Sonja on reception is a star too. She made sure I could have appointment times that worked for me and always called the next day to see how I was after treatment. You really get what you pay for here and I'm really happy and have more confidence now. I had black triangles between my teeth due to gum recession and I don't anymore! If I get more veneers done in future, I'll go back to Mulgrave Dental Group.

Dr. Kal is the kindest- most compassionate & gentle Dentist I have ever seen- I am 54 years old- so have seen a variety of Dentists over the course of my life-enough that I developed a huge aversion to ever even recognising I had dental issues developing! When I could hardly think, let alone ignore the pain coming from my teeth, I found Mulgrave Dental group - the warm welcoming tribe made me feel more relaxed with every moment spent in their company. As well as relieving my pain and providing exactly the dental care I needed and wanted- they have cured my fear of dentists! And the dental nurses will hold your hand if you need it! Due to covid restrictions, our local dentist couldn’t see my daughters for dental treatment. We found a lovely dental practice in Mulgrave and couldn’t be happier with the results. My youngest has and was very frightened of the dentist until she met Dr. Kal. He won her over when he asked her what Netflix show she wanted to watch! She had 2 fillings and said it tickled. My eldest had the same experience and both walked away happy. Kal was gentle and so were the dental assistants. The staff are so helpful and so dedicated that I received a follow up call the next day to see how the girls were travelling. I have recommended them to my family and friends so if you are someone who is nervous about going to the dentist, or in a similar situation to us, I can assure you, Kal and the team will look after you.

I have just completed getting new set of dentures made from Mulgrave Dental Group. Over the years I have had a few sets of dentures and have never been happy with my bite and the dentures were never really been comfortable. The minute I walking in the Mulgrave Dental Group clinic front door I was made to feel relaxed. They talked me though every step along the way, because they took their time and didn’t rush the process this has given me the best dentures, I have ever had. They even made an appointment for a few week times to see if I am happy with how everything is going. I would recommend everyone who is not happy with his or her bite to take the time to make appointment here to hear all of your option.

I was very impressed on my first visit to Mulgrave Dental Group. The waiting room is bright and cheery. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I did not expect much and was only attending to get Free whitening . But the dentist was lovely . And so thorough. SHE explained everything to me in a clear and concise manner..then gave me written plan for me to take home. I have never been treated so well by a dentist before. So I will definitely go back and change from where I previously attended. Although it was a little further than my local dentist it was worth travelling a bit further to because the service I received was exceptional. I simply cannot fault them at all.

I received very professional treatment from Dr Diluni Perera – she identified problems which would have caused further issues in the near future if they had been left unattended. She is a very skilled dentist and shares the procedures and dentistry issues with you in a manner which is easy to understand without having a background in dentistry terminology. I appreciate that she uses state of the art equipment which is time saving and thorough. When I expressed some concerns after treatment, Diluni called several times over the week (including after hours) to check that the healing and dental procedures were to her’s and my satisfaction. Best dental experiance! Went for a tooth extraction with much fear and anxiety. It was a tooth very high on my upper jaw so I expected many things to go wrong in addition to the usual drama ( my fear) But Dr Diluni pulled it out under 1 min I had no time to let the fear and drama to set in. Dr Alesha saw me on my first appointment and did the xrays and was very infromative about my concerns. The staff has to be mentioned too. They recongnised my anxiety and was very supportive from the entrance to the chair and back. Highly recommend the clinic to anyone. Specially those who have fears of going to dentists like me.

Dr. Perera has singlehandedly transformed this practice in recent years. The clinic is newly furnished and is equipped with modern equipment and technology. Staff are professional and friendly. In recent months we have completed two successful correction procedures for my kids’ overbite and crossbite. The results are amazing.

I am terrified of the dentist; actually I WAS terrified of the dentist until I attended Mulgrave Dental. I had an unfortunately incident with one of my teeth which forced me to go to the dentist. They discovered a range of issues and we agreed on a treatment plan (which included general anaesthetic). They were great in calming me down and I felt in safe hands with the dentist and everybody involved. End result was great and barely had any pain! Very welcoming and very polite to all patients. Due to a medical issue I had not visited a dentist in more than 10 years however after undergoing some extensive repair work I am happy to say that the experience was excellent. So much so that I am now happy to forgo my medical condition and restart regular check ups at Mulgrave Dental Group. I am 64 and very happy to recommend their practice and in my opinion say they are one of the best and most professional dentists I have visited.

I went to get my teeth checked having not seen a dentist in many years. All the staff here were accommodating and understood my needs. They did a thorough check of my teeth and took their time to explain what I needed both preventative and immediate dental work. I was not pressured to spend huge amounts of money and they provided alternative cheaper options if you had financial difficulty etc. Will be my go to clinic when I return back to Melbourne!

After many years of neglect, I finally bit the bullet & visited Dr Derek. I have a long journey ahead, but I feel confident that my best possible outcome will be at Campbellfield Family Dental. Dr Derek is extremely friendly, gentle & above all, non judgemental. Today I had a broken tooth removed, although it wasn't loose - I was shocked that it was out within 5 minutes. The numbing needles took longer than the extraction! Prices are reasonable too!

All the staff are warm and friendly. The reception staff call a few days after to check how everything is going which is lovely. The waiting area is nice and bright and clean and the bathroom is always clean. Dr Perera is very gentle and thorough. I hate having needles and she was so gentle that I hardly felt anything. I love going to this dentist, I don’t feel nervous waiting to go in because everyone there is so nice and good at what they do.

Dr Dulini is fantastic with our kids. Our daughter was scared ti get her teeth checked and dr Diluni was just wonderful in making her feel comfortable. So much so our daughter can not wait for her next Check up! Diluni is very informative and takes the time to go through options available. The only thing which would make it perfect is if mulgrave dental was a Bupa first provider. But In saying that, we still won’t change from seeing her.

My 15 years old son’s braces was done by Dr Diluni for the past two years. Result was amazing. Dr Diluni was very caring, committed, perfectionist and highly expertise in doing her best to get the best outcome for my son’s teeth. I've lived in NZ, Melbourne and Sydney, moving a total of 17 times. Out of all 17 locations, this dentistry is by far the best I've ever dealt with, actually showing pride in their work and the results they achieve, all whilst educating you to ensure you're in the best position to manage your oral hygiene. I've moved since but still prefer to travel a 2 hour round trip to know I'm being taken care of. Highly recommended.

I am very very happy with the service the mulgrave dental group provided. They fixed the problem I had which was troubles with my molar which lasted for 18 months. I love coming to Mulgrave Dental! I recently moved over an hour away but still prefer to come here. Everywhere else is overpriced and quoted me $300-600 for new retainers but Mulgrave Dental actually cares for patients and the price is 1/3 of that. I had a tooth needing a root canal, was looking for a number of dentist to help me in this as I was told by Citra Clinic that it's a complex case and has to be referred to a specialist. So this practice got me in with the free teeth whitening special recent. I’m so glad they did. Love love love this practice. The girls are awesome. Like most people the dentist to me is akin to Attila the Hun. I’ve avoided it where possible. However I must say that my experience at Mulgrave was a good one ☝️. I had a quote of min. $22000.00 Went to my regular dentist, and got that reduced to $2000. The doctor obviously wanted to do too much work on my teeth that wasn’t warranted. I was happy to just shop around, but I found it uncomfortable that I kept receiving phone calls form the doctor herself, to ask me to go ahead! Get other quotes first.
