I cannot say enough NICE THINGS about Dr. Fournier and the whole team at My Animal Veterinary Clinic. I have three dogs and unfortunately my youngest dog suffered severe stomach upset and was in extreme discomfort. It was during regular business hours so I called my regular vet for emergency help and they couldn't see me and just told me to "call around". I understand when clinics are understaffed and have existing appointments. What I would have expected is a little sympathy and help for a client who has multiple animals with that practice and who has been a client for over 40 years! I will not name this previous clinic that did not help me at all, but needless to say, I am no longer a client there. Thankfully Dr. Fournier to the rescue... I was absolutely panicking and searched on Google for vets in my area. Luckily I found Dr. Fournier. Her very helpful administrator, Stephanie, told me to bring my dog to them right away without hesitation, even though I wasn't even a client there! I was so grateful. Dr. Fournier did a full assessment, imaging and prescribed treatment and told me exactly what to look for overnight in case my dog's symptoms worsened and we needed after hours emergency care. Unfortunately my dog did proceed to get worse over night and we ended up following Dr. Fournier's advice and went to the emergency vet clinic late that night. Dr. Fournier was outstanding. She called the vet at the emergency clinic, sent all necessary records and continued to follow up with both me and the emergency clinic (even after hours!) to ensure my dog got the best possible care. Even the reception staff at the emergency vet clinic commented on how nice and helpful Dr. Fournier was when she was speaking with them. I have since switched all my pets over to Dr. Fournier's practice. The whole team is extremely knowledgeable, professional and most of all KIND. I highly recommend My Animal Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a vet.

We have a 120lb cane Corso who had a series of unexpected health issues over the summer and honestly, if we hadn't had the expertise, patience and kind understanding of Dr. Fournier, I'm not sure what we would have done. A painful blood blister in his ear was the first issue we had. We had sought advice from another vet clinic and had given us a much more complicated and expensive option without including us in the discussion or decision. We went to Dr. Fournier for a second opinion and she sat down and explained our options. We have a giant breed and need to consider how much he can endure while finding the best outcome for everyone. He had a successful surgery and Dr. Fournier was extremely helpful with the post-surgery recovery. About a month later, our dear pup woke up with a very very sore shoulder and couldn't walk. Again, he's huge so I wasn't sure what to do. I called Dr. Fournier and she had me bring him in immediately. She did x-rays and was very gentle in feeling the affected area to make sure he wasn't getting worse. Luckily or not, we have a very dramatic dog! It was only tendinitis (not arthritis as we had feared) and Dr. Fournier sat down with us to talk about options for managing his injury. Dr. Fournier checks in to see how he's doing from time to time and it means the world to us. We know we'll get to a time when we need to manage age related health issues with our dog and are very thankful to have someone we can trust.

Between removing reviews and posting fakes Not great place at all! 5 stars are sus... You don't remember my cat tux? You wanted to cut off her leg? You suggested I even put her down or give her to humane society. Tanya you are a horrible person $400 an xray? And wanted to do 2. 1500 plus taxs for diagnosis. 7000 for operation and when I told you didn't have this kind of money. You offered to cut off her leg or put her down. You went on to suggest my cat had a heart murmur, diabetes, anything and everything. Well I am happy to tell you for 3,300 dollars I had her diagnosisd (114 dollars for 3 x-rays by the way) surgery, and full blood tests. She has a clean bill of health. You're an awful vet and a terrible person Update: you're lies are disgusting and you censored my wife!? Ha you are a joke, also. Can you admit to all these ppl that you are NOT equipped for all services. You couldn't do my cats surgery, you could just cut off her leg... remember

Dr. Fournier represents and practices all of the qualities your pet deserves; She is a consummate professional who is caring and empathetic, but also decisive and clear in her diagnosis and recommendations. Her patient/animal care and bedside manner are bar none; On multiple occasions she was willing to jump on follow up calls with me to discuss status updates, next steps, and her professional opinion on how I should treat my little one. Never have I had a Doctor be willing to commit so much additional time, care and energy to ensuring I understood my options. She always maintains a professional attitude while still being upbeat/positive in her interactions; I never once felt like a burden to her or her time. Dr. Fournier is a dedicated Vet who will treat your animal with the attention and care they need; I came in late on a Thursday as she was leaving the office with an emergency, and she took the time to speak with me and provide a prescription on the spot; That is the type of Doctor she is.

Dr. Fournier, Stephanie and the rest of the staff here have been a great and supportive asset to both my cat, Bobbie, and myself ever since moving to the area. Bobbie has FISS (Feline Injection Site Sarcoma), and sadly, all previous procedures to rid it from her body have failed. With the amazing help of everyone at My Animal Veterinary Clinic, I know that Bobbie will have the care and support she needs for the rest of the time she has left, and I will find understanding, empathy, and compassion as well. Stephanie has been a wonder, ensuring all Bobbie's appointments are lined up swiftly, coordinating with her Oncologist, and being a supportive and empathetic presence for me. Dr. Fournier has been up front about what is going on, and provided swift and decisive treatment and advice to help manage Bobbie's pain, condition, and complications. I truly could not have hoped to find a better place for my little girl.

I cannot recommend My Animal Vet Clinic enough! Dr. Fournier and the team are true professionals who demonstrate a genuine passion for what they do and the people & pets they serve. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all of their clients. Their expertise was evident throughout the exam, explaining every step of the process and answering all of our questions with patience. The clinic is always clean, well-maintained and very well equipped which further reflects their commitment to delivering top-notch care. Fantastic service! All staff were extremely friendly, patient, understanding, compassionate and informative. The doctor is very competent and experienced. I especially appreciate that she took her rime explaining everything in detail. She showed my dog's blood work and went through each result. She provided options fortreatments with pros and cons. There was absolutely no pressure and the process was not rushed. I highly recommend this vet clinic :)

I've been bringing my cat Dubu to Dr Fournier and the rest of the My Animal staff - I strongly recommend this clinic! Exceptional care and service from all the staff, and Dr Fournier is very thorough and patient in her care and explaining rationales for treatment decisions. They are also very accessible and it's very easy to book appointments -- easily the best veterinary staff we have had the pleasure to work with.

I had been searching for a good veterinarian in midtown Toronto and I am so happy to find this clinic on Mount Pleasant road. Dr. Fournier and team have been very attentive to my dog’s need and have put together a proper plan for him. Given Dr. Fournier’s extensive experience in emergency and surgery I feel very assured that my dog is receiving the proper care he always deserved.

Dr Fournier and staff and very kind, warm, and welcoming. You feel like your fur baby is in good hands the second you walk in the door. I brought my 2.5 year old dog in for bloodwork and the turn around time was incredible. They are quick to equip you with information and resources as well as follow-up from any appointments.
