"Very full of information and the staff was very knowledgeable"
"A hidden gem! So much packed in this little space! If you can, have a museum attendant around to ask questions—adds so much! The museum curator joined us and was a fount of knowledge on every bell and ship model and artifact"
"Interesting museum with lots of historical items, well maintained and welcoming staff"
"A good place to visit"
"Here in prairies it's hard to fill Canada as a naval state"
Very full of information and the staff was very knowledgeable. However, the parking lot is only for staff (paid parking on the street) and all the doors were locked. The printed sign on the door said they opened at 8 and the brochure said 9. We arrived at 9:42. Pressed the service button, got no answer. We were eventually let in, but the doors remained locked after we entered, not allowing other visitors to enter. In the museum itself, lots of information, but it appeared as if the staff had not prepped for the day (video bird not turned on, brochure rack blocking displays etc) Edit: the tour guide came and he was very very knowledgeable. I appreciate that he shared his stories from when he was in the reserves.

A hidden gem! So much packed in this little space! If you can, have a museum attendant around to ask questions—adds so much! The museum curator joined us and was a fount of knowledge on every bell and ship model and artifact. And he had personal experience! A short walk from The Forks, free admission, but hours are limited (closed for lunch, and close by 3pm. Museum is at the front of an active naval recruiting centre.
Interesting museum with lots of historical items, well maintained and welcoming staff. The bad things are : only opened on Wednesday’s, and even though it is opened all doors are locked, you need to find the main entrance and ask them to visit.
A good place to visit. The place is really clean and displays Naval Ships that we've had in our service as Canadians.
Here in prairies it's hard to fill Canada as a naval state. But it really is! And you won't regret visiting....
Very interesting..If only the individual displays could tell their unique stories.
Open one day a week in the middle of the week. What is the point of you?
