This vet is the reason my puppy is no longer with me. Dr.Nick is not fit to practice veterinary medicine. We took my perfectly healthy puppy to her for a routine procedure of having my puppy neutered and the carelessness of her and her unqualified staff did no pre surgery bloodwork and called to tell me they lost my puppy and i needed to come pick it up, they didnt offer any explanation as to what happened or anything and when we arrived she was the rudest and most uncompassionate human ive ever met even at one point telling my gf to stop crying. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS VET. She should not be practicing veterinary medicine anymore

Long story short, I had a vet for years. My cat developed some kind of allergies, and the vet I was going too couldn’t figure it out without giving my cat a steroid shot. My decision was made after two different doctors told me two different things at the same vet. So I decided to make an apt at nicks vet. Since then, my cat has been feeling great and dr nick knows how to treat you as a customer and your pet as if it was her own. I appreciate them and will continue to stay. ❤️ Also the handsome big boy(cat) in the lobby who’s just lovely.

Very thorough and knowledgeable! You can bring your dog in for one thing and when you pick her up Dr. Nicks has figured out all of her exact problems and sends you home w treatments for them. I foster a lot of shelter dogs so I bring them in poor health, sometimes they’re abused and/or neglected so they’re looking pretty banged up and dr nicks works her magic, they leave restored! She’s also not judgmental or recommending unneeded procedures for profits

I recently moved to Charlotte and wanted to set up a new client visit to establish a relationship. Dr. Barbara Nicks was so kind and sat down with me and answered all of my concerns about being in a new region / climate for my standard poodle. Everyone in the office was very friendly. I like that I'm able to call and not have to go through a menu to talk to a real human. I'm happy with my decision to use Nicks as my vet here in Charlotte.

Our family loves Dr. Nicks and her incredible staff - everyone always greats us with a smile and our visits always feel like we are with family! Dr. Nicks is very knowledgeable and wonderful with our dog, Sawyer. She is salt of the earth and we know we are always in good hands during our visits! Her staff is truly incredible - the best in the business. They are equally as knowledgeable, empathetic and caring.

Wow I love this vet. Her prices are fair, she cares about each animal she sees, and takes super detailed notes. She takes the time to really help owners understand what is happening with their pets and to answer every question (regardless of how paranoid Im being). My cat had a blood test done and she didn’t just say “it looks good”, she told me each thing that was tested and what was found. Highly recommend!

My partner and I are eternally grateful for Dr Nicks. She and her team helped us every step of the way through a very heartbreaking disease FIP, which caused the loss of our precious very first 5 month baby Molly who had to be put to rest so she could be at peace. Thank you for everything. We will most definitely return when we are ready to welcome a new member of our little family.

Dr. Nicks and her staff is amazing! They are all super kind and understanding, and take time to answer your many questions. They were super sweet and gentle with my dog, which means a lot because he is incredibly timid and shy. Dr. Nicks has a great positive personality that she shares with everyone and it really shows how much she cares about her clients.

We are very thankful for Dr. Nicks and her amazing team. The compassion and thoughtful care they have provided for our older dog has been beyond compare. His health has improved dramatically since we began seeing them. We now drive almost an hour to come see them, but the trip is well worth it. Highly recommend Nicks Veterinary Hospital.

I love Dr Nicks and the team at Nicks Vet. They have been my vet for 12+ years and have taken great care of both of my dogs. We lost our senior dog this year and they were compassionate and made a difficult experience as good as it could be. They go above and beyond.

I loved taking my cat to Nick's vet. Each individual I interacted with gave the highest quality of care. Dr. Nicks was extremely thorough and informative. I unfortunately moved out of state and no longer get to take my cat to Nick's. They set the bar very, very high.

They are great people!! I live in South Carolina and forgot my dogs Insulin and I found them to be the nearest to me, so I went there and they checked her sugar and gave her an insulin shot. It was a blessing. Thank you.

Nicks is by far the best vet I've been to. The staff is extremely patient with my high-anxiety dog, willing to make any necessary accommodation. They are responsive and knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend them more.

We have three dogs. Ages 9-12. And we’ve lived in several different states through the years. Always had a good luck with vets… but Dr. Nicks is the best! We feel lucky to have her as our dogs’ vet.
