I have been in North Shore Private as a maternity patient back in July 1999 when the hospital had just opened. I have returned in 2014 as a Parkinson's patient being assessed for the Apomine subcutaneous infusion pump. The attitude of the staff at the hospital is very positive and helpful. From the staff at the registration desk through to the nursing staff every one seems happy with their work and will be more interested in the comfort of their patients and their visitors. I had a very bad experience at a major public hospital and the dismal attitude of the staff was not conducive for a good recovery! From nursing sisters who offered to heat up my dinner if it wasn't warm enough when I received it, to the cheerful man who brings the first tea or coffee of the morning before breakfast, the food was excellent and in 2014 I could order food with the catering staff on their iPad which was much better than filling in lots of forms. The food was delicious especially the roasts and the fish. Not a cold sandwich in sight. The cleaning staff were excellent. I had been traumatised by my experience at the public hospital and it was nice to be treated like a respected adult again and be listened to- I had concerns regarding my medication at night and the night nursing staff were able to phone my specialist at home and have my medication needs adjusted as I wanted. I was impressed with my specialist who always did his rounds every morning despite his high profile which would entail a busy patient load. He wasn't my regular specialist and it was very kind of him to treat me so kindly ( I think it was to make up for my lousy experience at the public hospital which he had nothing to do with but felt sympathetic). If I had to spend time in hospital again (and who wants to do that really?) I would not hesitate in choosing North Shore Private again as the are truly excellent in all respects.
I have been here on a few occasions and can safely say that when you're really unwell, vulnerable: unable to advocate for your own health/rights and overall care... It's nice to know that there's a hospital that truly does have patient centred care outcomes as a priority. Are they perfect, no. Do they listen, yes, mostly. And when they don't, they have processes in place to help navigate the complex systems. It sounds simple but I've been admitted via emergency to a number of hospitals and this place and the SAN are definitely, in my experience, the best. I've been under several different treating teams here: gynaecology, gastroenterology, oncology and obstetrics and all have tried to assist and provide ongoing and updated care reviews and information. Would recommend and will continue to pay out of pocket to ensure my health and the health of my family are prioritised. STAFF: Seem to genuinely care. They have hired some Korean (ex doctor/dentists/specialists) as general nurses who are incredibly talented! LOCATION: Easy taxi access and train station not too far away (5-10 min walk). Also have on site parking with daily rates around $40 or so. FOOD: Allergies tailored to. Food is pretty good but hospital standards. OTHER NICE STUFF (not available in many public hospitals): crushed ice (great for pre and post surgery when you're on near NIL by mouth), warmed blankets (amazingly small, hugely comforting when days are spent in otherwise, pain).
My father had his Whipples procedure at the North Shore Private Hospital late March with Dr Mittal (whom I'll write a separte 5 star review on). The experience had been outstanding. It is one of the best hospitals, the other being the Royal North Shore Hospital. It started with clear communicated before the pre-adminission clinic to the fast and professional admission process the day before the surgery to the professional care provided by all the amazing staff post surgery. After the surgery, my father was taken to the ICU, I would like to thank the nurses and the doctors in the ICU, especially nurses Julie and Hailing. They were very professional and thorough and asked a lot of questions to assist in provide better care to my father. I would also like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Ward 5 South Wing who looked after my father post surgery. My father had some complications after the surgery, which was expected and explained to us beforehand and well managed by the doctors and nurses in the ward. Everyone acted with the highest level of professionalism and at the same time provided personal services. I would like to again thank all the caring staff at the North Shore Private Hospital.
Wife had a c section at North Shore Private. Operation was smooth however this review is to warn others about the maternity ward facilities. By default, the rooms have single beds and a chair for breastfeeding. Regardless of COVID, a partner is allowed to stay for the duration of the recovery (5 nights for me). However, no accommodation is made for them. We asked about what our options are and we were advised they can swap us to a room with a double bed. Despite chasing this up nearly every day, this never happened. In the end, I had to go home and get some camping gear so I could sleep on the floor in the room. This was actually the advice of one of the nurses! Comparing to other private facilities, I was admitted into Northern Beaches for something else recently and my private room was far superior to NSPH. Prior to covid, we also visited friends at Mater Hospital and that was also far superior. If you have a choice, we highly recommend against this maternity ward due to its dated and cramped facilities. On a positive note, 90% of the staff were amazing.
My review is about Dr Tushar Bhuta, Senior Pediatrician. So professional and really really kind to babies. I have found all his advises 100% helpful which made me not trust anyone or any other articles but him. My baby used to have a very bad reflux. He professionally helped us easing his symptoms and cured him in a short time. He always had time for all my questions and never got frustrated with my almost everyday calls. I also want to give one million stars to his secretory Katie who is like an angle. I gave birth to my baby during Covid lock down and my mum could not come to help me with the baby as borders were closed. I had no idea how to take care of my little one. Katie was like a miracle for me. She very nicely helped me with all matters related to my baby and patiently spent a lot of time to help me stay calm and reduce my stress level. I never can thank them enough and I never forget what the did for us. Highly highly highly recommend them to all parents. I would give them more stars if I could.
My GP ordered a blood test for me. At first I was thinking about visiting a local pathology but the google reviews are not very promising. I don't want someone stabbing my arm over and over, or misplace the samples. NSPH had a rating of 3.9 at that time, not as good as I expected but I think they are my best choice. And I was right. It opens 24 hours and I don't need to make a booking. The staff at the entry was very nice and helpful. Use your camera to scan the QR code, not NSW service app. Then at the pathology room, use NSW service app. Maddy administored my collection and she was very warm, nice and professional. Only one stab, didn't hurt. And she was very patient with my questions, and asked me to double check my name and date of birth. And I didn't have to wait, my parking ticket says it took 23 minutes. The experience is flawless!
I only have an option of giving a maximum of five stars to represent my recent experience at RNSH and North Shore Private Hospital. You deserve more. From the moment I entered your unique environment, I was treated as if I was your only patient, nothing was a problem and everything was preemptive, making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I didn't want for anything. Enormous thank you to the nurses and doctors in the Cath Lab and an equally enormous thank you to the nurses, attendants and specialists who provided my after care unit in North Shore Private. We all know you are worth more money. We say it all the time. I will be rooting for you in the next round of talks and wish you and all associated with you the very best of health and happiness. Great work everyone. Thank you.
A very good hospital I would highly recommended. My wife just gave birth to my little girl recently and we had a very nice experience in North Shore Private. The ward was big and nice. Food and services were awesome as well. We even had a gorgeous celebration dinner! The most satisfactory part is the kind staff here. The midwives helped us a lot with things such as breast feeding, wrapping the baby, giving baby first shower etc. They took care of my wife and my baby in a very patient and professional way. A big thanks to Felicity and Iris in special care center as well. They were very nice to help with the jaundice of our baby. Many thanks again to all staff in North Shore Private for giving us a very good experience in the hospital!
My partner was scheduled for a day procedure today. The surgeon (no blame apportioned) wanted a scan to check on a small improbable issue... just in case type scenario. My partner was allocated to a ward with the decision entirely taken out of her hands, irrespective of our circumstances. The she was told the best the hospital could do was a scan ( no more than 5 mins duration) more than 24 hours after her operation. Tell me how this is acceptable in a private hospital. I on the other hand tore a muscle in my leg and the local public hospital who are vastly under resourced did a scan in under 3 hours. Shame on you NSH... stop putting profits ahead of people ... and make sure those paying people can get half way adequate service!!!!
Terrible, just like a public hospital except you have your own room. The food was very bad also. When I was out of surgery sipping water and just a nibble on bread, I was finding it hard to keep food down, threw up 3 times, nurse was not attentive my mother had to clean it every time. And I smelt like vomit for hours before the nurses got me ready for a shower. Ontop of that the shower is barely warm even with no cold weather running Tv was terrible reception like from the 90’s. The Foxtel that’s available is a straight up lie. So I used my laptop for entertainment but was booted off the wifi service half way through the day, apparently 2 movies on Netflix is worth 13gb. Pathetic
We have our baby delivered in North Shore Private Hospital. The team was fantastic with OB, Anaesthetic, midwife. A bit of hassle with the paediatrician, the experience was not good. Parental classes helped a lot. Excellent customer service. Spent 5 days without any hassle. The staff is really helpful and friendly. They can improve on their pantry however the food delivered to the room was good. Need more vegetarian options on the menu. Nursery facilities are good. Baby's primary supplies are provided without any limit. I was only disappointed that the delivery suite was not available during our stay. If you get a parking pass it's a lot cheaper for a stay of 5 or 7 days
Last week I had surgery and had to stay overnight. I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation to Nurse Kate during the day, she was so attentive, so caring and very helpful. Also the other Nurses Patrica, Carly, Georgia and Carolina were also very attentive and supportive throughout my stay. Also a very special mention to my Doctor Prof Thomas Hugh, who removed my angry gallbladder, his professionalism and taking me in quickly to get the surgery done, was very much appreciated, along with Anaesthetist Dr Ned Sweeney, very caring and supportive throughout the surgery. If I could give 10 stars, through my whole experience I would. Thank you very much.
I have a procedure due tomorrow and was calling to find out further details. The receptionist transferred the phone three times to the same extension which was unanswered. Each time I tried to explain that there was no one there, she didn’t let me finish my sentence and just continued to put me on transfer. This is extremely unprofessional. I did raise my voice on the third time, and she immediately terminated the call. I believe her name is Bree, and I’ve already wrote a complaint to your department. I don’t expect such attitude from a private hospital. Reading your reviews, I am not the only one who made a complaint about your receptionist.
I wish the best to you all and congrats on your fun and exciting journey. The reason why I am here is to let everybody know about a company called nursing angel , located at Chatswood. We have had the worst customer experience with them, ordered a breast pump at the beginning of august and didn’t receive it yet . And when we contacted to them , they were so rude and blaming everything on us etc. After that , I went to check their google reviews and saw lots of complaints from people on similar situations. So please before buying anything from that company , go and have a look at their google reviews and then decide. Cheers,
I had a wonderful time at the NSP birthing suite and maternity. Staff were very helpful and respectful. The Obstetricians, paediatrician, and all theatre staff were all very professional and reassuring. As a FTM I was anxious not knowing what to do and what to expect, the midwives were always there to offer a hand while at the same time respecting my choices. The rooms were very nice and warm and very clean. All staff were very professional; from cleaning staff, catering and everyone else I got in contact with. I would gladly recommend this hospital to anyone thinking of giving birth in a private hospital.
Last month, My Dad had a surgery in North Shore Private Hospital with Doctor Winter, the experience had been outstanding. It is one of the best hospital, I would like to say thank you to all the caring staff in the North Shore Private Hospital. Nurses were terrific and even catering staff and linen changing team were always courteous and respectful, made the whole stay wonderful. We are so appropriate that some of the Nurses who can speak Mandarin which help my Daddy a lot. Thank you every one! Wishing you all a merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Have had 2 surgeries at this hospital this year, one being in March (overnight stay), another in July (day surgery). Was really impressed with the service in all ares of the hospital during both admissions, the rooms and facilities are amazing, honestly they're nicer than some hotels I've stayed in... The food during both admissions has been very generous, lots of options available and yummy. Special shout out to Ingrid that was really lovely and took amazing care of me when I was recovering from my day surgery during my last admission, thank you!
What an amazing experience! I had WLS at NSPH and my first night started in the ICU. The nursing staff went above and beyond in this hospital. Giving me a back rub during the night as i was getting sore laying on my back all the time. I was then moved to Ward 5 where the nursing staff continued to delight and show genuine care and help. They are an amazing team at this hospital and i will continue to commend the staff here. If i had to have a serious operation again i would definitely go here. I have never been treated so well within a hospital.
Came in today for c section and there is a big construction going on in the admission centre. Non-urgent, just a renovation but the noise is up to the level that you couldn’t hear anything the nurse is saying. This is not the kind of experience a patient would expect from a private hospital. We are not paying extra high medicare fees to have such awful experience especially when you are vulnerable with both surgery and delivery of a baby. Nurses are nice and friendly. It’s down to the poor management decision and it needs to be changed asap.
Warmest hugs to all the wonderful staff I met during my time there. Ward 3 were absolutely wonderful, patient with dietary requests, helping me with pain relief to showering me, all within a timely manner, a smile and showing compassion and care. My surgeons, what can I possibly say about Dr Ball & Dr Wong. Without doubt my absolute hero's! No wonder I've had a fabulous recovery. Dr Sharpe, thank you for keeping me safe during the procedure, I did wake up smiling. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, job well done everyone.
I had major surgery at North Shore Private Hospital in August 2020. I was extremely fortunate to have two extended stays in 5 South and I had the most wonderful nurses care for my every need. Geraldine heads up an incredible team of nurses who treated me with genuine highly professional care, compassion and respect always. Special mention also to all the catering staff who went above and beyond to deliver individualised amazing meals every day. I would highly recommend this hospital as leading the way in patient care.
Highly recommend NSP Maternity, I delivered my second baby in NSP in March and had a lovely experience there. I followed my OB Cathy Lee from SAN, where I had my first baby. Comparing these two experience, I would say NSP postnatal service is amazing, all the midwives are really professional, attentive and caring. Special shout out to Michelle, Molly and Oliva, they are super patient and always there when you need help. I would recommend NSP Maternity to anyone thinking of giving birth in a private hospital.
Good nursing staff kind but understaffed.Hard when you are immobile and have to have a lot of things done for you. Very mimimal pressure area care due to nurses time constraints.Have been to better private hospitals this one pretty oldfashioned and looked dingy.Food was of poor quality not what I would have expected from a private hospital Very unappetizing.Theatre staff were really good.Shame because with decent management and less cost cutting this could be a much better hospital I wouldnt choos it again
We had our baby delivered on 21/04/2022 in NSP and has an amazing experience not just during the delivery and the 6 days of stay but even prior when we had to slam it every alternate days visit the hospital for blood test and scans due to our minor complications at week 34. Like any place the best part was the support staff and they way they carry a very complex task with smile and assurance that they have your back and are always here for you. Strongly recommend this hospital’s maternity service.
Went in here for Day surgery on level 1 and the experience was super positive. Large sized wards with quite a few operating rooms. The staff here were very welcoming, helpful and caring, even with everything that is happening at present and being so very busy. The food I had after the surgery in post was tasty and flavourful especially as I had been fasting since the evening before. The hospital had a very strict Covid safe protocol in place. #LetsGuide #healthcare #hospital #sydney
I had the most incredible experience having an outpatient procedure at the hospital and the nurses (Jo in admissions team) lovely nurses in recovery (sorry can’t remember names), Dr Ruff and anaesthetist Dr Lee and Dr Patrick made me feel at ease and very well looked after. They were on time, caring, compassionate and very lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful hospital with such a wonderful team running the show. Keep up the excellent work guys, superstars!
I recently underwent surgery at North Shore Private and I could not speak highly enough about every single staff member I encountered. Not only was everyone extremely good at their job, they were also willing to go above and beyond what would be expected. After experiencing quite a traumatic injury, the staff here made me feel safe, comfortable and extremely well cared for. They were all utterly amazing, kind and caring. The facilities are also wonderful. Thank you so much
My son had his day surgery at NSPH recently and we were so grateful for all the lovely nurses (Cindy, Kath, Sasha and some other nurses that I couldn’t remember their names) who had been looking after us so well! I would also give Professor Holland and anaesthetist Dr Perry 10 stars (if I can). They did an incredible job and made us feel at ease and very well looked after. Highly recommend this wonderful hospital with such a great team of superstars! Thank you so much!
The doctors, midwives & lactation consultants at North Shore Private Hospital are absolutely brilliant. I couldn’t speak more highly of the expert care myself and our baby girl were given recently. The rooms and food were lovely, there were lots of helpful classes and the entire experience was memorable for all the right reasons. We will most certainly return... when the time comes. Every single health care professional who looked after us impressed us immensely.
My daughter had surgery last week and we could not have had better care. We had a wonderful experience throughout our 5 day stay with no complaints at all. The staff from reception, admissions, theatres, ICU and 3 South all treated our family with respect and kindness every step of our daughter’s recovery. Our daughter would not have recovered from such a big operation so quickly or so well without the treatment she received during her hospitalisation.
I had Thoracotomy surgery on 13th December 2022 and spent 7 nights at North Shore Private. I would like to express my gratitude to Dr.Russell Brereton ( 10 stars if I can) and his team . I am so grateful for all the beautiful nurses including SIMI and some other nurses that I couldn’t remember their names. I would also like to express my special thanks to ICU staff. I really had a good time during my hospital stay So, highly recommended NSPH. Thank you
Went to NSP Maternity for my delivery and had a great experience, especially during these unprecedented times. We were taken care of very well by the midwives in the hospital. Our families couldn't make it because of the travel ban and the midwives taught us everything we needed to know. The facilities in the hospital is of very high quality and the doctors we consulted with are all amazing too. Highly recommend this hospital for maternity!
Had trouble and a long delay getting admitted, was very frustrating and initial communication was not great in that regard. Staff are friendly and the food is good, the specialists that work here are technically excellent. Asked to move rooms and was accommodated at first available room as I had a long stay. Could use some updating and some rooms were very hot on North side in Summer. I am grateful for all their help in saving my life.
My wife had our child at NSPH and the service was far from the standard that was conveyed I. the tour. Nausea following her operation was left unattended, resulting in an embarrassing/painful bout of vomiting; a particular nurse in the special care section was abrasive and unhelpful; and the support from the staff varied considerably. Overall, elements of the experience were good, but short of standards for a service funded privately.
If I could give it a negative rating I would. Horrible, judgemental, rude, openly snarky and incompetent non caring staff, inability to address small concerns, inability to identify big concerns and escalate for proper care which increased length of stay, caused harm to the patient and distress on the family. Poor communication by all staff the entire process. Would recommend going to the public hospital right next door.
I had minor surgery there last week which required me to stay 3 nights. Service on arrival and admission was friendly and efficient. Post surgery, the care from Lee in Recovery and the team on Level 5 was excellent - very caring and kind. Thank you so very much to all including; Tate, Georgina, Hema, Ricky, Miguel & Sarah and two other lovely nurses whose names I can't remember. Your kindness was greatly appreciated.
We had a fantastic experience with the hospital. It was our first child and the team made ensure everything was handled professionally for us. We didn't need to worry about anything since we booked in with them until they got discharged. Efficient services, friendly people, and the midwives all went beyond what were expected. Can't wait to stay here again for our second child. The food was amazing too!
I had back surgery on 8th August 2022 and spent two nights at North shore private. I could not find a single flaw. All staff were very polite and willing to help where ever possible (even putting my socks on as I couldn't reach). My room was clean and quiet and the food options were fantastic (even for me being the fussiest eater). I would be happy to stay hear again if I had to be back in hospital.
Due to h to he doctor rupturing my spleen during a routine colonoscopy I now have had to stay 2 nights & have extra tests- all at my cost! The food is appalling I haven’t seen a piece of fruit & none offered-just sweet biscuits & muffins! So much healing foods. Nursing staff have been fantastic though hence some stars. Any other business the client would not pay for doctors mistakes! A bit upset !
I'm not one to usually give reviews but I felt like I had to in this case. Northshore Private Hospital is absolutely brilliant, in particular the amazing and friendly staff in ICU. They went out of their way in every single aspect you can imagine and for a stressful week of our lives, they made things so much easier. Thanks to everyone for looking after my wife during her brain surgery.
My husband went in for a 15 min procedure at 10am and was still waiting at 4.00pm. No one gave him any information about the delays, staff were not helpful. Because of the delay, his pickup was not available and he was ‘thrown out of the hospital at 9.30 to wait in the rain! The doctor and the theatre staff were excellent but he would not want to go back, given the lack of care.
As a health worker myself I was impressed by the kindness and care shown by the nurses when I had my tonsils out. After long shifts and all they put up with I was pleasantly surprised. Having worked in hospitals I often see & hear quite the opposite from patients and general members of society. The service I received was outstanding and I thank all the staff who took care of me.
I had a lovely experience here following the birth of my baby. The continuity of care on the postnatal ward was excellent. Many of my midwives were absolutely fantastic, providing kind and compassionate care. I liked that I was moved into a room with a double bed which allowed my husband to stay overnight. I felt safe and cared for throughout my admission.
Deplorable experience, am a current patient. Operation was done on Sunday haven’t been given WATER OR FOOD. Complained to the ICU nurse who’s decided that the best policy is to ignore me. I have had to ring their executive suite and make a formal complaint. Haven’t had any sleep since Sunday. This is the WORST private hospital, go anywhere else.
Had baby here two weeks ago. Overall had a good experience, one or two staffs were not that nice, but most staff are friendly, specially Molly and Margaret. They are so friendly and helpful. They respect what their are doing and really have good heart to help patient. I hope the management can see this and give them reward. They deserve it.
The doctors, nurses, and staff at North Shore Private Hospital neuro ward are among the most caring and empathetic healthcare workers my family has ever encountered. They made a very stressful situation bearable and comfortable. We are very grateful for their excellent care and support during this difficult time. Thank you so much.
We had the most wonderful stay at NSPH when we recently had our baby. The midwives are so helpful, caring, friendly and attentive. The classes are so informative and the lactation specalists are the most valuable resource to ensure you are set up for when you get home. A huge thank you to Suzie and the whole team we will be back!
Excellent caring staff in an amazing Hospital. For the visitors there is a plethora of places to have a coffee and something to eat. A mini supermarket. The inevitable beautiful flower shop. I have had two visits as a patient and cannot speak more highly of amazing doctors to the cleaning staff! Well deserved reputation.
We wish to thank the team on level 4 north for the truly inspiring nursing care shown to my mother. And the clinical team of doctors and specialists who cared for my mother. Your respect and dedication proves there is much good in humanity. Your team on level 4 north are truly incredible. Thank you. The Blacker Family.
Friend had sleep test stayed overnight. The air circulation in the room was poor. Before admission called reception always no answer and bad customer service. Especially Billing Dept Michelle no patience and rude. What a shame for those staff who represent at north shore region private hospital .
I’m so impressed and so grateful! My experience has been so great thus far. I’ll be in hospital for an additional week. But want to thank you all for such a great service! A special thanks to Jan Rungruengwattanachai and Stephanie that have been an amazing and made my stay so wonderful.
I'm waiting in the admission waiting room, 40mins late for the infusion. Who is paying for my car park for waiting here ? We gave to change all my plans due to this waiting. Shocking. I want administration to pay for car park for this waste of time and delays. Disapointed and frustrated
Shocked to find ants in maternity rooms. Rooms not properly cleaned and linens not changed unless requested. The nursery facility staff suggest not to use the overnight service during hospital stay unless you just gave birth. Pervasive care and hygiene issues at this maternity ward.
I was under the care of the brilliant Dr Eva Nagy and had a very positive experience. The staff from start to finish were amazing and a special mention to the exceptional care I received in the ward on Level 2. Also cudos to the lovely lady that bought me some piping hot porridge
Excellent service all the surgeons, midwife’s are really caring and responsible Specially thanks to Dr Po Yu huang, Dr Michael. And midwife’s Kate, Ann, Hilda, Michelle and Suz Thank you so much ☺️ It was really wonderful having a special care from North Shore.
Had knee replacement surgery and the whole experience was outstanding. Nothing was ever a trouble and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was as conformable as possible. I cannot recommend this hospital and is staff highly enough. Thank you.
Whilst in sad circumstances I had a nurturing and easy day surgery today at the hospital. I thank all the the nurses and doctors who provided me with care and have a great admiration for the work that they do and service they deliver to each person.
Could not have been more helpful and caring for any request no matter how big or small. EVERY midwife was terrific and even catering staff and linen changing team were always courteous and respectful, made the whole stay wonderful. THANK YOU
Terrible customer service. My wife was admitted for a routine procedure. They had her laying down nearly 3 hours, just waiting for the procedure. No accountability or info was given on waiting time. Obviously under staffed, as there was no
My experience from the beginning to the end was sensational. I was greeted at reception by smiling, happy staff then all the rest of the Staff on the day was very friendly, welcoming and professional from the nurses to the doctors .As I
An excellent first experience of surgery. Very professional, attentive and caring staff. Felt comfortable and confident. Plus a delicious meal upon recovery; barista grade coffee too! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ …
A truly appalling experience. I sat with an open mouth alongside the very professional attending hand physiotherapist whilst the Practice Manager bullied me into a choice I was not comfortable with. I tried to explain that I was not
I've had the best care and they manage to Pick up on a serious problem we were not even aware of. The staff are fantastic. There was only one bad nurse my whole stay. Fantastic place to be when you're really ill and hate hospital's.
I had a hip replaced there a couple weeks ago. The same brillant surgeon did my other one at RNSH 5 years ago. Comparing the 2 experience. RNSH beat North Shore private. Way better. rooms were cleaned daily, the food wa s as agos
Still have to wear a mask but I found my specialist suite easily. My Dr was amazing and I left feeling happier than going in. Beautiful hospital and gardens. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had no problems with my wheelchair.
Be warned. Compared to other hospitals, the online admission process is a complete nightmare. Slow, clunky, and prone to freezing up, it takes forever. Hope my experience in the hospital itself is a lot better than this one.
I've had the pleasure of having surgery twice now at North Shore Private Hospital twice this year. Both times I've stayed overnight. My surgeon is amazing and all the other medical staff including nurses have been great.
First time as patient at this ! And the there’s NO comparison for me ! The service and treatment from my Surgen AND his team ! To the nurses on the Ortherpeadic ward we’re all amazing . Best experience ever
The best experience ever… thank you so much level 3 birthing unit … I loved every bit of my delivery and the care was the best thank you to my obstetrician dr margie harpham … and all the nurses.
Midwives in ward were extremely helpful, patient and professional . Birth Unit room was world class , midwife supported throughout the whole birthing process. Our OB Dr Tan did an excellent job.
RNSH Private level 1 /thank you to all off you made my husband stay the best and his 60th birthday enjoyable hope yous all enjoyed the cupcakes yous rock on our way home to qld a million thanks
Great staff at the Maternity Ward! very helpful, kind and made me feel safe knowing my baby was in great hands when they came to check up on her. Thanks for the great experience!
Like many hospitals, they struggle to get enough staff here. That said the staff are caring and hard working. The facilities are fine and the surgical teams are excellent.
We had such a great experience delivering our baby at this hospital. In particular, the midwives were so supportive and reassuring throughout the entire journey.
North Shore Private Hospital is one of the major private hospitals we have in lower North Shore with good service, excellent team to look after you
Experience at the hospital was sound - but David on the front desk is a super grump and incredibly rude and unhelpful, treats you like an idiot.
The nursing staff were incredible and caring. Food was excellent. My only concern was being charged $525 when my hospital fund had told me the
I was there for my clinical placement. I was go through a lot of pressure during a placement. They are very unfair with me. Thanks.
North Shore Private is one of the best hospitals. They provide good service, excellent team and nurses that will look after you
Day surgery. OK, No complaints. Nothing to rave about.
