I am unbelievably disappointed in NCC! Coming into this school i had high expectations on what this school community could/would offer but these expectations were continually crushed in more ways then one. To begin, a vast majority of the teachers hired at this school (not all) are unqualified and not AT ALL suitable for the job. They are very biased, disrespectful towards students and one could even say... extremely childish. It is as if they never learnt how to do their job. This then leads onto the very big issue of discipline at NCC. Coming here (like all schools) they promised a very friendly, respectful and accpeting enviroment but it is anything but that, there have been countless behavioral issues concerning the students enrolled at this school, this can go from petty teasing, disrespect towards teachers/peers, bullying and all the way up too extreme sexual harassment towards the girls, this includes graphic, demeaning and unbelievably sexist slurs said towards them, shaming and many other disgusting things that i do not want to even mention. Now... the thing is, this would not be such a big issue if the staff at NCC dealt with these behaviors accordingly but they do not at all and i am absolutely sick of it. When it comes down to it, a teacher continually apologizing for the perpetrators actions but never doing anything about it and then giving the 'perpetrators' a 'slap on the wrist' for this repetitive, adult like behavior is unbelievable, the only thing they are only teaching them is that THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS and this is very evident as these incidents arent isolated... they are extremely reoccurring. As i said, the demeaning language used by some of the students and ruthless bullying is disgusting. And at the rate students are leaving this school, if you do not take action now, you will not have a school in a few years. This then leads to NCC's facilitys, for the price you have to pay to be enrolled into this school, it does not AT ALL do itself justice. The facilitys and opportunities given to the students are absolutely terrible and then on top of that teachers are horrendous and can barely even teach so the students arent able to reach their fullest potential, not because of laziness on the students side but because of laziness on the teachers side. My point is, you would be WAY better off paying a little more and enrolling your child to a better school then sending your child here. It is a waste of time, money and effort. The teaching is horrible, the behavior is outstandingly disgusting and for the money you have to pay, it is NOT and NEVER will be worth it.

It’s really bad experience for my kid in this ELC for 3 days only. She said her teacher who is the room leader L, pinched her when she was crying. It’s easy to see an obvious triangle red mark on her neck for two days. We can’t believe it and still wait for the results of investigation. As for the way ELC deal with the problem, we are not satisfied. But currently we can see the principal of college and her boss is paying attention to work on it. My kid can express what happened ver clear. We can’t image how much pressure for neck can cause marks for two days. The most important is, at least she can distinguish who hurt her. We waited for the position for one year, but really disappointed. As I know, L is a new teacher for this school. I still would like to believe that the other teachers in this school are kind and hope that every child can be truly protected without monitoring system. Hope my child can get an apology so she doesn't think crying is punishable. Finally, I would like to thank Megan and her boss, Ashley, for all the work they did on this matter. They took it seriously and were willing to spend time and money on it, which makes us more comfortable accepting results that are substantiated. We just hope that this matter no longer affects my kid's life, and she can be happy every day in a new place.

I kept reminding myself to write a review on NCC's ELC that my daughter attended only for a short period due to changes in our circumstances. I have to say that we left with such heavy hearts as the teachers in the ELC were just amazing! The environment of the ELC is bright with plenty of opportunities for children to explore and learn. I really like the communication between the ELC and ourselves as parents, they really do make an effort by talking about your child's day face to face and via their fantastic app that they use to send through pictures of our daughter throughout the day. I also really like the structure and routine throughout the week as they offer specialist program such as music on thursdays which is absolutely fantastic. I really can't fault the staff in the ELC, they were professional, caring and skilled in what they do , we are extremely sad that we can't have our daughter continue at the ELC, however, if circumstances change for us, NCC ELC is definitely our first choice!! Only a short 4 weeks, my daughter has become toilet trained, her speech has significantly improve and eating has become less of a struggle. Thank you NCC and the ELC team for such a wonderful experience! Jee & Vince

I completed my final primary teaching placements at Nunawading Christian College this year. I was blown away by the warmth of the NCC community, and could sense the school's genuine dedication to creating a nurturing learning environment. Throughout my placements I had the privilege of working alongside experienced educators who were not only passionate about teaching but also deeply invested in the well-being of their students. The staff's commitment to fostering both academic and spiritual growth was evident in every interaction. Overall, my time at Nunawading Christian College left a profound impression on me. I thought their holistic approach to education was unlike any other faith-based school I have witnessed, and I am grateful for the incredible staff and students who made me feel so welcome.

As a new CRT teacher working at NCC, I have been amazed at how friendly, accepting and respectful the students have been towards me. I’ve been impressed by their uniform presentation, punctuality and positive attitude towards work. On one occasion, I was particularly moved by the words of two students who expressed their gratitude for being at NCC and to the teachers who have helped them develop spiritually. I believe that the College has a wonderful balance between academics and spiritual life, as well as sports and creative arts. Nunawading Christian College is a wonderful place and I'm so grateful for the days that I get to spend with them.

My recently turned 5 child started attending Prep in NCC mid this year. I will not go into the nitty gritty details however, it is worth many mentions that the Head of Primary, Ms Catton and Prep teacher, Ms Austen for going above and beyond working with our family for a couple weeks - to ensure our child settles in well, in providing honest and knowledgeable insights and in putting my child's best interest a priority. My child was unsure of being in a new environment and meeting new people on his first day but by the end of his first day, he was adamant that this is it! Second term this year, still enjoying going to school!

NCC is one of the schools that I do relief teaching at. Over the five years of teaching at this school I can honestly say that I really enjoy it when I work at NCC. I know that it is going to be a good day! The students are the most polite and well behaved students of all the schools that I work at. There is a unique and beautiful spiritual vibe at the school which I have never experienced anywhere else to the same extent. The teachers care about their students' wellbeing, education, and spirituality. The teachers pray for the students everyday. The VCE results also speak for themselves. If I had kids I would send them here.

Our family have been at this school for 14 years, with all 4 of our children going through the school, our first child started in 2000 and our last child finishing in year 12 in 2014. It is a very friendly Christian based school. All the staff are very caring & honest and have the students best interests at heart. It has a very unique culture, with a great family type atmosphere. Even though we are not Adventists we were still very much respected. We highly recommend this Christian based school.

Flash Fireworks had a fantastic experience working with the staff and students at Nudawading Christian College. We were a supplier at their 60 year anniversary and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. They took all safety measures and information on board, and were clear in their communication in return. It was evident how much the staff care about the health and wellbeing of their students and families. ~Flash Fireworks~

My family have attending Nunawading Christian College from Prep and we are now over 1/2 way through our secondary years. Our experience every year is always very positive, but the side of the school that we are the most grateful for, is the teachers. The teachers go above and beyond in supporting us as a family and our journey through what is needed for our children to success and achieve their goals. Thank you

I transferred my daughter from another school to NCC this year . She started year 10 and has been enjoying school and is more motivated. We couldn’t thank enough the tremendous care and support from teachers. Furthermore, She made great friends in this school . I wish I had started her earlier in NCC. Highly recommended to anyone who wish to enrol their child to NCC .

I attended NCC from Prep to Year 12. I owe a lot of my education to the teachers and community there who have helped develop me as a better person. The school offers great support in all areas, stretching beyond education and into faith and personal development too. Made some lifelong friends and I still enjoy going back to the school even after I’ve graduated

NCC Secondary is terrible, send your child anywhere else. The Head of Secondary is very rude and extremely discriminatory. Not a safe environment for kids with health issues or disabilities to learn in. Very low standard for learning - some classes don’t even have on-campus teachers and students are essentially expected to teach themselves.

I was new to Australia coming from South Africa and this school welcomed me with open arms. All the staff was really supportive and helped alot. The classes are also good with the teachers making the work fun that helped me alot. I am really sad that I am leaving to a nother state. Would highly recommend enrolling your kids in this school.

My son and our family completely love this school. We love the dedication, love, and excellence offered by this school, alongside the amazing teachers, communities, curriculum, and most importantly the strong Biblical values being demonstrated in every part of the teachings. Thank you I am grateful to have enrolled my child here

  • Jenny Choo

Very caring school with a great learning environment. I have sent my two boys there since prep and have never once have they come home and say they don't want to go to school or they don't like the school. Both boys are in high school now. Highly recommend the school. The school has achieved great results (see better education).

  • Travis Allen

Our kids really love this school. The NCC staff are very engaged, professional and caring towards the students. The principals encourage collaboration between the high school and the primary, teacher training with frequent professional development days, and research the latest in best practice in education.

  • Jamie Bowman

We had never heard of this school. But referred here by close friends. From day one our boys have prospered. The care, community, honest Christian values and academic standards are strong. In total our boys have had 25 school years attending to this point. A small school with big benefits.

10/10 An amazing environment, very kind waiters and the menu is filled with amazing foods, i really recomend the icy poles they melt on your tongue. I recomend going to this place.

  • Tina Anderson

The school is not inclusive, they don’t like your child, if your child need extra support for learning, definitely not an inclusive school. Don’t send your kids to there.

  • Erica Schmidt

Transferred from England with a girl Y9 and a boy Y7. They absolutely love it everything about this school. If you are Christian this is even more special. Thanks NCC

  • Arthur Morgan

Teachers are absolute cows, facilities are awful and sporting is astronomically terrible. Always favour the same students and politically try to brain wash students.

  • Owen gao
