I had been talking a lot with the salesperson, everything was ideal. I had lot of conversations and he was really good. But when the work needs to be done the thing change. I chose to get the sole trade container because they promised would take from 3 to 5 weeks and I needed ASAP. They picked up our belongings 15/03, they confirmed us with a mail that our container would go in a vessel departing 6/04 and arrive around 23-24/04. Because we paid for a sole container for us. After that they charged us $200 for 1 cubic meter extra... we travelled to NZ, did 2weeks quarantine and then we started looking for a new rental with the pressure that the container would arrive very soon. We secured a house on 9/4(paid bond+month rental) to start the lease on 30/4 because the container meant to arrive around this time. I have been trying to contact to the agent was talking to me for more than 4 days with no answer at all, so I decided to contact salesperson. He put me in contact with her. Today15/4, when the vessel got departed 9days ago, they confirm to me that the vessel got delayed when its not true, because I tracked the vessel and its on its way to NZ, so they have decided to delay my container with no reason and no notice, the new date of arrival is end of May plus 7-10 working days delivery. In brief: we paid more expensive container because I needed it ASAP, all my work tools are in this container, so I cannot start working because I need my worktools, I do not have an income. I rented a house in which I cannot live because our furniture is in this container. I will pay for a month extra in another airbnb, plus a month rent in a house that won’t live, plus no income, plus sole trader container price. I have tried to talk to the agent and she does not answer, I asked for a manage and still waiting to be contacted. Never use anymore and not recommending at all. And will see if everything arrives in good condition when arrives
The true value of a company is measured when things go wrong. It is the way that they managed the situation that truly testify how important to them are their customers. To truly appriciate how good OSS are, I will tell my story from start to end. I used OSS to move the content of my house from Melbourne to Tel Aviv. I also purchsed their insurance. The movers came and picked up my items. They were very professionals and I have to say the quality of their packing was second to none. When my items arrived to Tel Aviv the doll house had a small crack (it happens). The company that unpacked the items (NOT OSS) used a blade to unwrap the sofa - and they cut the bottom linen of the sofa. When I contact OSS their insurance branch was nothing less then amazing. They immediatly said they will reimersed me for the doll house. They asked the company that damaged the sofa to account for the fix. When they realised the company is taking its time in resolving the situation, they stepped forward, paid for the fix and absorbed the access fee. To add to that, the entire engagement with them was very pleasent and very professional. Moving countries is stressful as it is, with OSS you can have the peace of mind that your goods are cared for - by good people.

We had someone come in and review what we were taking to provide a quote, she made heaps of mistakes on the inventory and price estimates, she thought we would need a 40ft container and we only needed a 20ft. It took ages for us to have a confirm the date of our uplift. The packers were quick and fairly easy to deal with but they damaged some of our property. They turned up with a large truck and two 20ft containers and caused quite a bit of inconvenience to our neighbours because we were not made aware of what the actual process and plan for the uplift was. Now we have found out that our container will not leave for our destination for another 16 days, the container was packed 3 days ago! OSS did not provide us with details of the actual shipping, we had to enquire and they’re response about the container being booked on a ship due to depart 19 days after it was packed was fairly poor. They have not responded to our enquire about property damage. Overall, I have been very unimpressed with OSS. I’m hoping the partner organisation on the other side is better.
Our experience with OSS began very well, efficient and quick communication, they were able to organise our move with very little time... However when our cargo arrived to Spain, we found out how poorly some items had been packed. 3 people came to pack our stuff and one guy looked clearly unexperienced, we found everything he packed was broken. When notifying OSS they have washed their hands as we didn't pay for insurance. I understand accidents happen, and this is what you get insurance for, but negligence is a different matter. If you pack a shelving unit without securing the shelves they will break during the move, so what is the purpose to bring them all the way around the world? Also, a bit of bubble wrap around big items is never going to be enough. Most of our broken items have a sentimental rather than monetary value. At least we would have liked to receive an apology. I attach some pics so that you can see the unprofessional work they provide. I guess customers out there don't want a compensation for their items but rather their items to come in one piece.
I Chose OSS World Wide Movers due to the positive reviews and a recommendation from a relative... The process is a lot easier and straight forward than I imagined... Moved home contents from Australia to UK... I was OK with the price ... The pick up of my goods was very good, used numbered boxes and well packaged... Communication and tracking was good... I felt assured my stuff would be delivered OK (goods delivered June 2022) ... The delivery was longer than the initial estimate due to Covid and a global shipping/container crisis... I cannot blame OSS for the delay, as it's out of their hands and all Over Sea's Movers are in the same situation... As soon as my stuff got the UK docklands it was delivered to my door very quickly... The boxes are very durable and there was no damage... I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends...

I am still in the process of deciding whether I will be moving overseas, so the quote option to give me a rough idea what I will be paying if I do, was really helpful. The Country Moving Guides and Documents sections were incredibly helpful too. Having these available on the website means I can do all my research in the one place. A really great and unique feature is the Moving News items. It’s a nice touch to go along with the other elements of the website, and something I haven’t seen a lot of on other removalist websites before. It’s refreshing to know that a service or business I might be using in the near future is staying on top of news and what’s relevant in its industry.
Made enquiries into OSS World Wide Movers' door-to-door service to pack down my 2 bedroom apartment and move to Wellington end of the year. I spoke to the friendliest lady who was very detailed and helpful in explaining their services. She never pressured me for personal details and went above and beyond to answer all my questions - even offering to contact their partner pet-moving company on my behalf! The whole service will take 3-4 weeks and she mentioned they will do all the packing for you into good quality boxes and provide all packing tape and bubble wrap. They also handle all the custom and border control red tape which takes the pressure off. Excellent customer service - I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

I phoned OSS Worldwide Movers regarding moving from Australia to New Zealand and I spoke to Aaron who explained for a move to Auckland from Australia with full inventory it would take 4-6 weeks door to door and for each container of belongings being moved it would cost around $6000 - $6500. They also take care of customs and border control and relocating pets and I would not need to supply boxes, packing tape or bubble wrap as it is all included in the cost. If I wanted to pack fragile items myself I could do so but I would have to think about what I would be insured for. All of the information was provided clearly and in a courteous manner and based on the information provided I would definitely use this business when moving overseas.
I was extremely happy with the service and care I received from OSS during my move from Melbourne to Canada. Every person I interacted with (through email, on the phone, or in person) was friendly, nice, and very prompt in communication or pickup times. I was happy with the price that I paid. All 10 of my boxes arrived in Canada exactly as they had left Melbourne - undamaged and intact - and earlier than I expected! I want to say a particular thank you to Renee Tipker, the sales consultant, as she helped me from beginning to end in my move process, responded to emails immediately, and was always jovial in her correspondence. As an individual that lives between Los Angeles, USA, and Melbourne, Australia, the thought of having to move all of my belongings internationally is a dread, to say the least. The mover manager Sophia grebener and the branch manager was very unpleasant to deal with, rude, arrogant, assume people going to lie about a payment of 132. Very unreasonable people. Sophia send me a final invoice with incorrect delivery address and only got that corrected the day before delivery. Due to banking app issue I was able to send the receipt with bank detail information and they just assumed that it will not go through. I have paid over $4k for the transport and a final payment of 132 is not going to go through?! What a joke. They have used that as excuse to delay the delivery. Not recommend at all.
We shipped our household goods from AUS to the UK during the pandemic. We had already left for the UK when OSS came to pack our things and they were easy to communicate with and coordinated with our storage shed on our behalf. They even went above and beyond to let friends and family add last minute items to our shipment. When our things arrived, they had been wrapped (and in some cases, re-wrapped) thoroughly and with a great deal of care. Lots of bubble wrap, lots of cardboard, and very sturdy boxes. All our things survived the journey and we’re grateful to OSS for the job they did.

Heard back from Adam from their team within 15 minutes of submitting the form. Everything from packaging and labeling, moving the two cars we own and the specialist packaging for our art deco furniture was explained by him very clearly. I got a quote for everything I am planning on moving in that one phone call. That was easy! Surely going to recommend them to whoever’s planning on making a big move.
We have been clients of OSS for over a year now. After our perfect move with them in January 2019, when we put our house contents in their storage, we spent a year in France. In 2020, when we couldn't travel, we asked for some small modifications to our storage. Nothing is too much trouble for this firm. Quick, responsive, service-oriented, they met our requests with no fuss. I cannot recommend them more highly, and will use them again in 2020 and 2021. This is one firm, with great staff, who you can really trust. Five stars for everything.

Very professional, shipping from Melbourne to NZ took 4 months, but I think that was out of their hands. After contact and getting a quote they dropped a bunch of boxes off so I could pack my things. Packed, taped and labelled everything. Some guys came a week later and picked everything up. Crew was really quick and you could tell were experienced packers (boxed up the fridge, washing machine, bike etc). Second time shipping goods overseas with them, would happily use again if needed.

We had a great experience moving from Melbourne to NZ during COVID. The team were friendly, responsive and professional. The price was extremely competitive. The guys did miss a cupboard that wasn't packed so we lost a couple of pots, but we missed it too! Our stuff went into storage for 7 months on arrival and they still came back after all that time to pick up their packing rubbish. Definitely recommend to anyone moving long abroad!
They threw my belongings into a truck without proper labelling/boxing, no help packing despite their promises, lost items, then did nothing to locate my items or communicate with me in the process. Disgusted with their services for a small overseas move. Avoid or get loads of insurance because your valuables will dissapear! We moved from New York to Melbourne in April 2018. After waiting two months, our ship finally arrived. Once it arrived, we were told twice that our items would be inspected, and both times they failed to be inspected. Items only got inspected after we emailed multiple times. Our items finally passed inspection and OSS worldwide is still yet to deliver them telling us it will be another week.
Wow, What an experience! We are so impressed with OSS from first point of contact to the two amazing, polite, professional and extremely efficient young men who packed our house and personal belongings with diligence and the utmost care. I shipped belongings from Auckland to Melbourne. OSS managed the receiving and delivery in Australia. There was a backlog in quarantine which held things up by about 2 months which was beyond their control. It was well communicated. I dealt with Thi in the office and Aiden was my delivery operator. Both were lovely to deal with. I have no hesitation recommending OSS.

Used the service for international move before the Pandemic. Collecting from Melbourne was organised and ontime with adequate staffs, but delivery in Destination was not professional at all. The upsetting part was that we had special circumstances at the time, despite having insurance ,we could not ask about the MISSING BOXES we noticed after few months.
I shipped half a house from Victoria to Finland during the pandemic and the attack on Ukraine. Both meant that things changed quickly. I think OSS handled these situations s very well. Elements of the move where extremely professional. The removals were amazing. The coordinator in Finland was excellent. Overall, very happy with the service.

Melinda replied to my emails during her holidays and provided me the best moving solution to overseas. Their price was the best. I do recommend OSS for those who got saturated with lack of response and lies by other movers.
