I lost my only copy of my car keys on a Sunday, though optimistic that I would find it I called Omega just to find out my options. Though when I first called on Sunday the man was very helpful and said he was available until 6 or 7. He gave me a reasonable price and length of time that it would take to create a new key. Though I continued to look I gave up around 7:15pm. I called and was not surprised to get the voice mail. I left a message and thought that I would call back, or get a call back, in the morning. However, I first called Omega at 8am on Monday morning and got no answer. I continued to call every half hour (left two messages) until 10:30am and then I just gave up. No one answered or gave me a call back. I was a little disappointed since I got in contact pretty easily with Omega the day before, and since they seemed to have so much positive feedback here and on Yelp. Maybe someone else will have better luck!

We recently needed a car key replaced—sidewinder type metal key part fitted into the plastic car-unlocking remote. Because of the anti-theft chip embedded in the plastic part of the key, replacement wasn’t possible by just getting a new key cut. We called several places to get price quotes, and Omega Locksmith had by far the most competitive price—much better (over $100 less in some cases) than any of the dealerships we called. We called about half an hour before we planned to come in, they confirmed that they had the necessary make/model/year version on hand, and we came right over. The whole process was quick and efficient. The locksmith came out to our car to test that the new key worked just as well as the other one that we still had, and we were on our way home less than thirty minutes later. I will let you guys know, this place has saved my ass twice now! About 3 years ago I left my car keys inside the car while locked and I scrambled around for a company to help me out, these guys were the first ones to help. And that was 3 years ago, George came by and gave me his direct line and I've had it saved on my phone ever since even though I'm actually from Holland, MI. Then this past weekend I lost my keys at a concert and so what did I do? I looked through my phone and saw I still had Georges number saved. It was the biggest relief ever. He came right over and got me a new key and I was able to make it home on time as schedule. Appreciate the work you guys do!

RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME SERVICE!! I broke my key using it as a prying tool (note to self: keys are not for cutting zip-ties!!) in the middle of work, close to lunch. My niece was in town visiting and I took her to Broadway Costumes, but when we got back to the car I could not find the keys to my 2005 Honda Civic. We searched frantically, but no luck. I began to panic when I realized I'd lost my car keys. I drive a 2009 Dodge Caravan My keys are the ones with the computer chips. I called my local dodge dealer and was quoted a price of $400.00 for 1 new remote key. I purchased a 2007 Mazda 6 with one key and needed two additional spares made. The keys have a programmed chip and remote and I thought I was going to have to go to the dealer to get them replaced (rediculously expensive). A technician Jose came out to my Naperville home the same afternoon with all the bizarre computer equipment needed to program the keys. He cut & programmed the new keys, even threw in an extra spare mechanical key, and it was significantly less than the dealer wanted. Highly recommended!

Boy do I feel dumb. I was in Chicago to watch the NFL draft and locked my keys inside of my 2015 ford fusion. I had a couple of my friends with me. They gave me a lot of crap for this of course. omega locksmith is the best by far i recently lost my keys well my kids did note to self don't leave keys laying around and they lost them after calling several several locksmith and ridiculous estimated quotes on how much it would cost to get a key for my 2011 Chevy Malibu Jose worked with my on a price that was fair and didn't make me feel robbed in the end i recommend them great fast service and very friendly and quick to respond i will defiantly be calling them again if ever this happens again hopefully not tho.

My first time to the windy city was filled with high expectation as I came to see my Dodgers take on the Cubs. Had a great time until I got back to my Dodge Caravan only to see my keys stuck in the ignition with the doors locked. Agghh. I called in December and the lock technician did not show up, I called again and scheduled someone to come today and after waiting 5 hours today still a no show. I called spoke to guy who said he was the owner and he basically told me how it was my fault because he gave us an estimate in 2016 and we didn't call him back. He also stated that he has no control of the technician. I'm unsure as to how he is the owner speaking to his customer this way. Very unprofessional , don't waste your time with this company.

I called and visited about 15 chicago area keymakers and nobody quoted a price lower than these guys, AND the're fast! He does all luxury vehicle keys and actually specializes in them. I called jose to make me a new push to start key for my Nissan at 815 pm. He arrived to my home within 25 minutes. His price was more affordable them the dealer and other lock Smith's that I had called. When he arrived he had a very professional set up and transponders for all makes and models. Had a great experience with Omega Locksmith this morning. I lost my car keys and called Jose who quoted me $195.00 for a new transponder car key to my 2007 Toyota Camry When he showed up in his fancy futuristic work van he was extremely friendly. He immediately opened my car and proceeded to make me a new chip key for what he quoted me over the phone. This was a very positive experience and I'd definitely recommend Omega Locksmith in Chicago.

I highly suggest Omega Locksmith. I lost my car keys. The dealer had the wrong code for the car and was unable to make me a new key. Unbelievable! Another locksmith I called was also unable to make me new keys. They were at the house quickly and it took some time because they had to decode my lock. But they did it! So thankful. I had a wonderful experience with Omega Locksmith. Within a few hours they worked with my schedule and arrived at my apartment right on time. He was so nice and professional. It only took about 10 minutes to program 2 key fobs to my Infiniti FX35. He even made sure I had a new battery in my key fob. Idk why I'm reading good reviews unless the person working today 6/26/16 didn't want to be there. It's been 4 hours when I was told it would be a 1 for them to call me back to help me get my keys out of my car. The guy on the phone gave me information very nicely but I've been waiting hours with a baby to get a call and nothing. If they were booked up at least tell me so I can make more phone calls.

I wish there was something lower than 1 star. They advertised 25min wait but I was sitting on the side of the road waiting for them almost an hr. Tried to call them back and they hung up on me 3 times!! Never even got a return call from the technician they sent out. Great technician, awesome service. Made 2 new keys for my Ford Fusion. Showed up within an hour and got the job done quick. Bought the car used and never knew the keyless entry code which they were able to pull and provide me for free incase I ever lock my keys in . I was consistently told I could only get a new programmed key from Landrover service. The dealer charges $500 simply because they can. I've gotten keys duplicated here before and have had a good experience. Recently I left a lock cylinder to get a key made last Tuesday but every time I've gone, back which is around the same time every day, they've been closed. Not sure what's going on with the shop.
