Went to this place last night and ordered the bubble tea. I accidentally saw the staff poured the mango and maybe passion syrup into the cup and measured the tea ( I ordered the mango passion fruit green tea), but she didn’t shake or stir it. She poured into the tall cup with honey pearls in there. I saw she realised that the syrup was still in that cup, and she left that cup into the sink then turned on the tap. My drink has green tea, ice and honey pearls NOT mango passion something like what I ordered. I asked her to remake it because she didn’t do right, she came back , and the other staff came in from outside took the cup from the sink, poured my drink back to that cup and started to shake. I definitely didn’t understand what it for because the staff was shaking the tea and ice, and they think customers are so silly, didn’t see anything, didn’t know anything. At least, she needs to wash her hands and the cup from the sink first because I don’t know what other things in that sink. You are doing hospitality- serving FOOD to customers , then they gave me back the cup, and I was so disappointed, I didn’t want to ruin my night , but the drink made my mood so bad with what I felt is all the tea and ice . Well, I don’t recommend my friends to come there even I am living around, and my friends are fan of bubble teas plus desserts, I don’t think this place looks after customers well. The manager needs to train staffs how to solve the problem, train the hygiene and what cross contamination is. Unprofessional working styles!

3.5/5 This cafe has lots of potential. It's a beautiful venue with a trendy & fun fit-out. Very youthful, the booth seats were a great touch and also very comfortable to sit it. The service was a bit clunky but I could see our waiter was trying. The food overall was great and menu items was diverse enough to warrant a return visit. Loved the fries ($9) and my chicken & avocado panini ($15) was enjoyable. My friend had the scrambled eggs and they looked light and fluffy. The let down were the kids pikelets ($10 each), they were much larger than anticipated and quite dense & doughy. We asked for all toppings on the side but the chocolate sauce was already squeezed over the top. Luckily I didn't have an episode to deal with...if you have young kids you will know when we ask for stuff on the side, we desperately mean it >.< They should also reconsider their babycino pricing at $3.50 for the teeniest espresso cup. Either adjust to market pricing or increase cup size.

Been here a handful of times, mainly just for their delicious drinks but the last few times I've came in for food. First off, their food is absolutely phenomenal! This is truely a hidden gem and I'm amazed that this place is so empty whenever I come. I've had the pavlova hotcake, strawberry bingsu and the tempura calamari and they have not disappointed, for the price the quality and taste is amazing. Alyssa has usually been the person that serves me and I'll say, their service is amazing! And props to the other staff aswell, all the other front of house staff are absolutely darlings and I always feel so welcome when being served by all of them. I'll continue to come here every time I come to fountain gate, if you haven't been here already please bless your taste buds lol!

Very disappointed, after reading the reviews, everyone was served well, why is my experience so bad ? I have spent two times in this cafe. The first time I bought two croissants to take away, the waiter repeatedly asked if it needs to be heated, I said no, but it was still heated. The second time was yesterday, we chose internal use and ordered drinks first, but they were served very slowly. It seems that the waiter got the wrong seat, and we waited for a long time until the drinks were all finished and the meal was not served. When I waited After an hour, we found out that we were ignored. We were very unhappy. There were 3 or 4 waiters present, but none of them noticed. So I refunded the meal (kitchen didn't make yet ), pay for our drinks, no compensation, 1 star, no third chance, this cafe.

Walked in no one came up to us they where all to interested in the group of boys getting drinks at the front of the store. so we choose our own table sat down waited another five minutes for table service and then got up got my own menus. Looked them over then opted for just coffee waited again and then got up and went to the counter to order. One of the wait staff that had walked past our table several times with empty hands said someone would be with me in a minute. Coffee finally ordered and a muffin to share. Muffin came out without the coffee's so waited. By the time the coffees arrived we had eaten most of the muffin which was nice. Coffee was good service needs work. Would I go back no I wouldn't.

My daughter had lunch there with friends. The waitress got my order wrong. One waitress told me I could eat the meal and there would be no charge yet another waitress can and said if I eat the meal I will get charged for it. Sorry but the waitress stuffed up and brought me the wrong meal, she said she will fix it and then brought me out my correct meal. I didn’t even want the first meal. Moral I’d be careful and do not pay for the staffs stuff ups. My daughter was ti nervous to say anything, this is wrong and the staff should be held accountable for their actions and not make other people feel that they have ti pay for someone else mistakes. Apparently the food was good though.

Friendly service, but unfortunately our meals were brought out at different times, so we ate seperately which is not ideal. They were also out of multiple ingredients for what we had ordered, and the substitutes were just not as good. The sourdough for our sandwich (which was supposed to be a bagel) was very soggy and not pleasant to eat. Strawberry Bingsu was nice enough, but the "large" serving was quite small for the price. The decor is nice, but tables close to us were left dirty for quite some time. Overall it was an average place to dine, but we would not return.

Got Pad Thai, there is option for beef/chicken. Then there is a small line beneath that says things like “prawns, fish cakes, peanuts, etc”. I have selected beef. I would have expected I get beef + prawns and fish cakes in my dish, but NO... The guy says you have chosen been that is going to replace prawns and fish cake. Is that should be the case, shouldn't the option be beef/chicken/prawns and fish cakes? Then it will be clear. Plus the dish is too sweet and sour and salty. The taste extremely complex. Feels pretty thirsty after. I won't come again.

Had a lovely family brunch here. Drinks order taken promptly and brought out soon after, nice and hot. Free baby chinos with marshmallows. Ordered food; breakfast burger, chilli prawn scramble, smoked salmon bagel and belgian waffles with ice-cream. All came out quickly, all was delicious! Bagel toasted perfectly, plenty of prawns in the scramble and not too spicy at all, brekky burger had a sweet relish, but cannot comment on waffles as 4year old finished it within minutes! Would definitely go back again, I do recommend!

I ordered the Spanish eggs benedict and my friend ordered the pavlova hotcake. This food is absolutely to DIE for. This is one of the best, if not the best, cafe I've ever been to. Every single bite on my plate had me happy food dancing with glee. I cannot wait to come here again. Biggest complements to the chef. The staff were also really wonderful and the atmosphere is gorgeous!

Visited during their grand opening, meals were 50% off which we were thrilled about. But we were disappointed as the food lacked a lot of love and care. - Chicken and prawn dumplings were still raw and mushy - Pad thai was too salty and wet - Crispy chicken and rice dish was okay, but the sauce did not compliment the dish. This restaurant has so much more potential and has a nice, cozy vibe to it !! Staff are friendly, but unfortunately the food is just lacking.

The staff here were friendly, showed patience towards our slow ordering. My friend & I were 'catching' up! Both our meals were delicious. The kitchen staff were happy to provide a selection of gluten free meals. Thank you to the Opera Cafe staff! I would highly recommend this Cafe & will return in the future.

Grand opening 1/2 price is ok, but resto not ready for the crowd, my meals end up for takeaway instead of dining (Friday nite Grand opening). Today’s take away my brisket noodles & pad Thai seemed like soggy wet noodles with no taste. Like their previous resto *same day every day* that closed. I predicted this will not stay long if they don’t improve the cooking

Came in on Friday night for dinner and was greeted by the lovely server Alyssa, have been served by them before and cannot say enough great things, they are amazing! Had the waygu burger and strawberry bingsu it was stunning. Usually just get the bubble tea here but the food is beyond expectations and all the staff are fabulous! 100% 5 stars :)

Ate lunch here today, ordered a latte a baby chino, a breakfast burger, kids waffles and a side of fries. The food was great! We especially loves the way the fries were cooked - perfect! My breakfast burger wasn’t too bad either. I think my only complaint is that their baby chino cost $3.50. Other cafes give that free with their kids meals, OR they usually charge less that this cafe… but other than that, the vibes are nice aswell in this cafe

We ate here yesterday around 1pm ish . I had the Spanish eggs Benedict and they were outstanding. My friend had a toasted focaccia which she also said was very good. Beautiful decor in this cute little cafe in the fountain gate shopping centre. Definitely worth a try. I will be back to have my meal again for sure.

Great Asian-fusion brunch spot in Fountain Gate. We ordered the Spanish Eggs Benedict and the Chilli & Prawn Scramble Eggs - both were delicious! The Spanish Eggs were fresh and zesty, while the Chilli Scramble had the perfect level of spice, with plenty of prawn on the side and in the scramble. Would come back!

It’s very seldom that food looks as great as the advertisement. In this case it most certainly was!!! I’m blown away at how beautiful my Bircher overnight oats looks, even more so the variety of fresh fruit added. It’s exactly what the picture looked like and it tastes amazing! Love it!

It’s a new cafe in Fountain gate! My friend and I wanted to try it out. I ordered a buttermilk fried chicken burger, and I enjoyed eating it. The chicken was crispy and juicy. I also like how they used French fries on the side—excellent food and customer service. I would recommend trying the new cafe!

Ate at Opera cafe for lunch today, the calamari was probably one of the best fried calamari dishes I’ve eaten! The fried chicken burger was also very delicious and juicy. Highly recommend! Compliments to the head chef
