General hospital

"Seriously they don’t know how to address patient, both the young and aged staff"
"It is a secondary health facility"
I had a very bad experience here until I used private hospital. A long queue with Doctor not available all the time to attend to you. The worse part of it was the medical report I requested for and I have to pay around 7,500k and I was told until a week before I get it while my enemy was dying gradually. At the end of the day, I got it somewhere else after I got treatment. My advise is that if you have minor issue, go there but for serious cases, never ever go there as you may be writing your own dead sentences unknowingly. You also meet so many crowd even when you get there by 6am, people are already on ground and before doctors attend to patience, you follow so many processes unless you know someone. It is on a rare cases you see Doctor without passing through several stages
A government medical facility serving orile agege, oke odo, abule egba and other neighboring communities, more hands are needed to meet up with the numbers of patients that troop in daily in need of medical attention. Though they have good medical professionals, the medical personnel used to be overwhelmed by the crowd. Hence, they transfer aggression to the patience and visitors. There is serious need for government intervention to upgrade the facility to be able to meet up with the medical need of the residence.
The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, experienced core medical and non-core medical personnel to deliver excellent medical services to her patients. The following clinics/departments are available; Eye, ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Physiotherapy, Radiology, GOPD, MOPD, SOPD, Dental, O&G, Medical Social Welfare, Pharmacy, Maternity, Laboratory, Child welfare etc... At Orile Agege GH ...we dot on you
Seriously they don’t know how to address patient, both the young and aged staff. Today, I waited for 5 hours I couldn’t see the doctor, and I was forced to ask the matron calling names fi she has called my name she just snubbed me it’s not fair... I can’t even dare to go any General hospital again except it is necessary
It is a secondary health facility. The compound of the hospital is not spacious so they have limited space for car park which mostly reserved for staffs of the hospital. The facility has Eye clinic, Dental clinic, Maternal clinic and HIV clinic. Lagos state insurance scheme is available in this hospital.
From health services delivery point of view, considering the coverage area, population to service, man power available and medical facility at this hospital, though may have poor service delivery, Orile Agege GH is still relatively the best hospital in the Agege environs.
Great experience. The nurses and doctors were nice. Met the Apex nurse- Mrs Wellington, great woman. Although, you might need to go quite early to see a doctor unless you don't mind taking a while at the hospital. You can view their contact numbers from their website.
I have been to many General hospital in Lagos but Orile Agege is one of the best in terms of infrastructures, Doctors and nurses service and they make use of Internet access to attend to all patients
It's fairly okay. The usual Nigerian standard of public facility. Usually crowded. Go early so you can leave early. If not emergency, seeing surgeons are usually slated for two weeks. Cheaper tests.
The crowd you meet here is something else, even if you come as early as 05:00 AM,you will still meet a crowd of people as if Lagosians don't sleep! The General Out Closes 04:00 PM Monday - Friday
My experiences so far have been great, especially when it comes to CS delivery; the woman has at least 3 specialists attending to her. The nurses too were great. Thumbs up, guys.
I rate this hospital as the 2nd most crowded General Hospital in Lagos State in terms of patients traffic, yet they do not compromise quality health service delivery. Thumb's up!
Lagos State Government General Hospital with a Class known for being the saviour of Pregnant Women & Children where the Low-income earners are highly dominated
A good Government Hospital for the masses, strategically locating in the heart of two local governments to serve the people. Very good service and treatment.
Well, it's as expected, a typical government public healthcare centre. There's a Masjid within the compound by the way, Jumu'ah is also observed there.
Nurses and doctors know their onions. I use their services and I'm impressed as well as satisfied that a Govt hospital can be this efficient.
This hospital is one among the mostly visited hospital in Lagos in terms of patients traffic but not in the class of LASUTH.
It's oversubscribed. For a high density area, it's way too small. The services aren't too bad by our local standards
Located off road about 200m from Ile-Epo b/stop. Stressful like any other public or general hospitals but effective
Lots of people at the hospital, you'll have to go very early to be able to Buick appointment with doctors
Poor customer service right from the beginning to the end. Worst is the lady from account.
It's very dirty and they don't take care of you they shout at everyone with insult.
A bit of improvement in the last time I visited but still much work to be done
It's a very good and standard hospital own by the Lagos State Government
